New grow coming in with the new season. Using regular seeds this go around. I hope to have at least 3 of these be female and collect pollen from the males for future projects.
Only plain water this week. They already look like they're over It. I'll start feeding them a little now and increase as the weeks go by. I've transplanted these kids into their solo cups also. They'll live here until they outgrow them.
I feel like I did everything wrong the first week 😭. Regardless, we have recovered and these guys look great so far. Looking forward to transplanting them later on this week.
This week, I transplanted them to 1 gallon pots, increased their feed and gave them their first top to setup the mainline. It's really hot during the day too, but they seem not to be very concerned. Light curling here and there. Hopefully the AC should help.
Instead of waiting another week to complete the mainline, I decided to start a manifold instead. The light schedule will be 12/12 next week to start flowering. Will most likely transplant them in 3 gallon pots too. 😁
- It's been really hot and humid this week due to the rain.
- The manifold is set and I've flipped the light schedule to 12/12.
- I decided against transplanting them until I see them reveal their sex.
- I'll do better with the pH as I've noticed it rises over time.
Other than that, so far so good. 💪
They're stretching along okay. No sex reveal yet. Possibly, we'll see a change next week. In the meantime, I've been defoliating and training them a bit.
We're finally flowering. The heat and humidity were challenging this week, but they all made It through.
So far 3 females and one male have been identified. I'm still waiting for one more plant to show pistils or not. I'll keep the males to collect pollen for another time. 🤩
Wow, these are really beautiful plants. The weather was better this week; Much cooler, but the humidity is a lot higher than I would like. I did another round of defoliating. I'll take a break from it for a couple weeks and defoliate heavily one last time.
Also, MKP was added to their feed as usual during flower.
These ladies look great. Shout outs to Katsu for breeding these nice plants. Things are moving along smoothly so far. The humidity this week was really high. I cranked up the fan in response and things look and feel better now. They'll keep growing this way until the end of next week. Then a deep defoliation.
With all the stormy weather, it's pretty difficult to keep the humidity under control this week. I've tried maxing out the fans, but that was only a temporary fix. Despite that, the ladies look great and ready for a round of defoliation.
It has been another good week and I imagine it'll be smooth sailing until harvest. These ladies have begun to smell once I open the tent now. I imagine it'll grow more intense over time.
These ladies are swelling up nicely. Their trichromes are beginning to get cloudy. Also they're quite smelly now, lol. I expect to harvest them in a few weeks.
These ladies look great. One them seems to be ready to leave the tent. Its leaves are fading and the trichromes look good upon closer inspection. The lady behind her wants to follow as well. I was expecting a longer flower period, but I'm not complaining 🤷
This week, 3 chopped down and 1 to go. Upon inspection, their trichromes looked just right for me: Cloudy with light amber in-between. For the next couple weeks, I'll flush this last one until she's ready.
