SparkyGrow I was given this zamnesia seed free about 3 years ago if I were to do a diary on it. Unfortunately life got in the way and I haven’t done a grow since. The seed has been stored in a cool dark box so hopefully all will be well.
1st grow for a few years as I need to replenish my jars.
Trying out organic living soil from Dr Organics to see if it’s easier to get through the grow without the complications of bottled nutrients and over/under feeding.
Had to bulk up the living soil slightly to fill the pots so added some shop bought peat free compost and some perlite. Hopefully that doesn’t mess with the ecosystem.
SparkyGrow She seems to be growing a bit deformed.
I think it’s due to the age of the seed and that I forgot to ph my tap water before soaking the seed and I have quite hard water.
I’m using rain water from now on hopefully that fixes the issue.
SparkyGrow She seems to be doing ok. Every set on new leaves are a lot better then the last lot and she still seems to be growing at the same rate as the blue dream.
SparkyGrow Tacked on a lot of mass this week.
LST, defoliation and a couple of low buds removed
Self wicking pots used for the first time. I like the idea of them just worried about humidity going into flower
SparkyGrow Issue with soil and nutrients uptake because I didn’t research living soil enough
Basically living soil and rain water don’t really mix unless you add something to your rain water to up the ppm’s
I’ve now got a ph and ec pen from ac infinity, hopefully I haven’t damaged the plants or soil content too badly.
Tap water from now on. Also taken out the self wicking bases just to try and keep humidity below 50%
