10-20-2024 - Harvest day, cut and hang whole plants - Played with the microscope cam a little bit, the white balance is always so off that it blows the image, not sure if its the app or the camera - Will update on results in two weeks after trim 10-27-2024 - Humidity started dropping in the tent two days ago, hit 53% today which seemed like a quicker dry than I thought it'd be - Probably a day or two late, even though I only started to get stem snap on the smallest branches then, consider cutting earlier next time - Final bagged humidity reading at 53-55% on these new Govee sensors which I calibrated to 62%. Added Bovida packs to all bags to bring up - Bagged in knock off Grove bags, hopefully these have a better zipper 11-11-2024 - Plant 1 - 78.4g - Plant 2 - 82.1g - Plant 3 - 85g Smell is still developing a bit as its only 2 weeks into cure, but definite citrusy / floral undertone, with some muskiness from being premature still. Taste also still developing. Effect is definitely more sativa-like. Less racy / anxiety causing than a lot of other sativas so far though. Final thoughts: While plant 3 was much physically larger, it yielded about the same weight, but I feel its buds are less developed. I ended up bucking down the buds more on these. As it was the first to hit the sulfur deficiency I suspect I had, I wonder how that contributed. Plant 1 actually seems to have turned out the nicest, followed closely by plant 2. I ended up with about 2.8 ounces per plant which is much lower than the 4 ounces I got out of the previous OG Kush grow. I think trying to walk the line between Natures Living Soil semi-organic and still using calmag, and other stuff when I felt like it kinda was a mistake... only because I didn't really commit to an organic grow style and I don't think I gave the soil all the attention it deserved... but I also started with that same bag of "corrected" happy frog that I used dolomite lime to fix the 5.2 ph in. Kinda hard to gauge the stunting of the plants when I started in soil I didn't trust. The spring was a neat tool for LST. I like having a rigid structure for the main stem, but still ended up with garden wire everywhere anyway. Trimming all branches down to the last 3 nodes I actually like, and I did get BETTER bud, if not MORE from this grow. It made maintenance and such much easier too. I want to lean into bloom boosting of some kind I think to better stacking / fatten things up, as well as doing less "constant" pruning in favor of letting the plant OVERgrow more, and then cutting back. I still need some work on the dry procedure. These all still seemed to dry pretty quick at one week, which is too fast for my goals of maximizing flavor, smell and terpenes. I need to research more. The grove bags are better. Im a convert for final cure. Learned a decent amount about what I want from this grow, and the final result is NICER than the OG Kush from before. For next time: I'm committing to organic. top dress amendments Gave away all my remaining nutes except some CALMAG. Soil: 5 gal Promix HP, earth worm castings, perlite, and standard dosing of gaia green + gaia basalt rock dust. Add Myzos and Azos, and dose more Myzos at transplant RO Water only except for Recharge teas a few times through the grow, trying to ignore pH altogether this time as I keep getting into trouble chasing good pH numbers Top dressings of gaia green, earth worm castings, and basalt rock dust

I think its not really "seed to harvest", especially if you veg longer obviously. I am going to be switching to Gaia Green product line instead.

@cjfarmer, At level 9/14 inches from canopy I was hitting about 850 center and 650 or so at the center of the side plants. At 10/14 I am hitting closer to 1050/850 now in the last weeks of flower.

1 gallon per plant plant per 24hrs? Is that correct? That seems like a lot. ease back on watering until the bugs buzz off. Bare minimum. feed the plant not the bugs.

LOL, no, I'm watering 1 gallon / plant every 4 days or so. Probably less actually as I'm doing one heavy watering on Sundays, and a lighter watering mid-week. I just didn't want to do the math for the measurement per day. 😁 Corrected to be more accurate. at .33 gal a day.
