LadyKiller Found this seed in some outdoor I got while travelling - definitely a Sativa. Mom had dark flowers, low odour, but smelled of pine + citrus, with an earthy musk bringing it together. Really nice smoke. She sprouted after about 3 days in the dirt. Transferred her into a 1 gal pot full of cheap potting mix with terrible drainage. She was pretty severely stunted as a result. Next time i will use a peat pellet and plant directly into final pot.

I can access your diary without issues: growdiaries.com/diaries/212086-bag-seed-grow-journal-by-2x2medicinedude Your diary also appears if I search for your nickname It might not be visible on front page, but this is completely normal, there are too many diaries, they selected randomly to appear on a front page.

LadyKiller Day 1: Transplanted into her forever pot. The soil in her 1gal was soaked already so i didnt bother watering her in, as she was already showing symptoms of over watering. Day 3: Cover crop has started to sprout, and she looks like she has recovered from the transfer well. Day 7: Gave her the first feed on D5. 3L of my blend of food scraps with molasses, LAB (lactobacillus), seaweed extract, Epsom salt, Homemade calcium carbonate, and ascorbic acid (to dechlorinate the water). She absolutely loved it, along with the cover crop. Have been foliar feeding seaweed extract nightly just before lights out.

LadyKiller D14 Well, this week has been a learning experience for sure. I have been foliar feeding each night just before lights out, but added urea to the spray for some reason. On D12 i watered and fed 1L of seasol, calcium, urea, LAB, molasses and ascorbic acid. 2 problems arose simultaneously. Problem one, she was over-watered. I remedied this by placing towels under the pot to wick water out. 3 towels later she feels better. Problem two, nitrogen toxicity. Why i decided to add more urea is absolutely beyond me, rookie moment. This evening i used a sprayer to LIGHTLY water around the base with plain water to hopefully try and gently remove some of the nitrogen around the root zone. Other things of note: there is little side branching which is curious, could be genetic or from shock im yet to find out. Tied her down today as well. 🤞🤞

LadyKiller Day 21 This week has been HUGE. So she deteriorated quickly after the week 2 update, in fact she very nearly died and I had to take drastic action. The 7gal pot soil completely waterlogged, and was causing dire issues. 7 days outside in the sun and low humidity and that pot is STILL soaked, so i'm glad I transplanted. Day 15 I dug in around her base, and pulled out what i could, she lost a significant amount of root mass I assume as there was very little there and quite a bit broke off. I treated her like a clone to nurse her back to health. I made a new soil mix of 50/50 potting soil and perlite and set her into it - watered in with under 100ml of plain water just to set the soil. left her for 5 days and noticed there was finally some signs of life. Soil was almost completely dry, so i watered with 500ml of plain and seaweed. she has responded well and i expect her to make a full recovery from here. DLI @ 30 and will keep it there through week 4. All in all, lost a little over a week of growth due to overwatering - leading to nutrient lockout, pH fluctuations, and low oxygen. No biggie, this has been a humbling experience. No longer foliar feeding, as she doesn't respond well. just going to water when dry from here in and see where next week takes us.

LadyKiller All photos are D28 Good week, Fed her on D22 with low strength solution of Powerfeed and she seemed to handle it well. Will follow directions and feed every 2 weeks and slowly tune the dose. Keeping VPD around 1 where possible. DLI was 30, but dialed back to 27 after seeing plant stacking way too tight. Will incrementally increase, aiming for 35 by the end of next week. Has some cool discoloration of a fan leaf, probably due to all the stress she went through while growing it. Topped on D26 to encourage some side growth. Seemed to handle it okay and today was the first day of noticeable growth since topped. Bring on week 5!
