INTRO
I've let this plant run a little wild, while I concentrated my efforts the last weeks
on Princess Polly, heat moderation and humidity regulation with the aid of "my first hygrometer".
I've since then bought another one and plan to acquire many more of those ingenious devices.

Defoliation, LST removed.

Heavy defoliation, heavy LST added. Bending with rope.

It looks like Winny is quick at covering up the maimery done the day before (day 43).
Look at her thrive, Wow. All this without topping the main stems. This looks
like the most promising grow I've done thus far, even with a few weeks of neglect.
If flowering is solid I'm in for a bananas time.
Age approx: 45 days now.

Age approx: 52 days now.
Small Disclaimer on the Nute regiment before
It was wrongly calculated:
I used to use two bottles and 50/50 it on feeling.
So what was before should have been:
1 ml/L Grow Aveve
2 ml/L Flower Aveve
My apologies.
We got our CalMag clone
Its called Aptus Something Something,
We also have a Bloom Booster (24-14 PK) for the last few weeks.
So our new improved Winny-Elixir consists of
1 ml/L Grow Aveve
0.125 ml/L Aptus ... (CalMag clone with extra N)
2 ml/L Flower Aveve
And some spit and love.
Look at that nice Goarilla Kong Barrel.
I'm sorry for the crappy pictures. I hate this smartphone camera,
but for now and the near future It will have to do :|.
Back to pinching, cuddling, stressing and other such niceties.
Winny is reacting very well to the extra LST and defoliation.
I remove about 10-15 leaves each day. On the edges, I prioritize the removal of
fan leaves pointing inward, those shading the inner stems. The inner stems,
themselfs mostly branches of the edges or main cola, have more fan leaves
removed when I think they are fit enough to take it. When I can, I stagger the removal of
leaves eg: 4 now, 4 in 4 hours, another 4 later, ... but I do get impatient from
time to time. Winny takes it just fine :D
I have also started using stakes and pinchers
to create short term blockades for the bigger colas (mostly edges).
A Monkey technique I have used before with great success on "Princess Polly".
This put those stems on an angle of about 70 degrees.
I'm still thinking of turning my Jungle Scepter in a huge SCROG
net-monstrosity but I'm so Lazy and I really like my staff. It makes me
feel a little bit more confident, more like a sagacious Kong. Ooh
Raifiki, how you are an example for us all. Pan, Pongo, Gorilla and Homo alike.
And dear readers don't forget:
"Protect your morning boner stick !"
Bong Bong Bong.
Cheers and Many Bananas.

Hello Dear Readers.
Sorry for the long period of silence.
I'm battling another heathwave and it's taking its toll.
Here in the jungle we got our paws on a spreadsheet program
and found out we were feeding the plants way too much nutrients.
This is probably a dupe message but I am heathdelirious.
We have since adapted our elixirs.
After our current Flowering bottling batch is used, we will
switch to our final, more potent one. The same formula mixed with a
sip of Bloom Booster.
This is looking to be a 90 days+ auto again. I guess that's what
happens when you decide to dwarf your plant.
I've also been doing some stuff to a few Dinafem photo's
(OG Kush, Critical Jack, Blue Widow). Mostly stupid, some lucky.
Our Barrel is looking fine.
Cheers and many Bananas,
Goarilla

Yesterday temps reached 32 in the closet, it's a lot better now (27-28C).
But temperature control will still be an issue next few days to come.

I've started my 'patented' Bud Bifurcation Jutsu. In 3 weeks I hope to harvest this Princess.

Some of the white hairs have begun changing color.
Buds are starting to bulk up. The chemical clean baby thc days are gone.
And the pine and citrus is being supplemented by a new balmy-oily aromtic essence.
Akin to Blueberry/Lavendel but a lot subtler. Reminds me of those "Bath oils", that
get gifted and regifted way too often.
I've moved the lamps closer to cozy. To about 35-40 cm above the canopy.
I Think I'll be able to harvest in 2 more weeks.
What do you guys think ?
Cheers,
Goarilla

78 days old. Today is mostly a water day. I'm holding back on the nutes after
finding some small premature curling. I've cut off a few sticks of nuggets
for "testing purposes". Removing mostly fluff buds and a few that were just
in the way. About 40 grams worth wet without manicure.
Let's see if this puts more Energy where it should go. Although I refuse
to submit fully to that horticulture model. My tactic is more of a
'Nourish them all and see".
Cheers,
Goarilla

81 days old. Azote (N) is finally getting scarce in some fan leafs.
The plant is drinking a good 1,2 litre a day
and has recovered well from our earlier operations.
Cheers and many bananas.
And again my apologies for the terrible pictures.

83 days old. I christen this day Calyx-Swelling-Day. Already
I have a couple of tops I'm starting to get gnarly possesive about.
Growling and showing canines when I have to.
But they are so sweet. Better than I've ever had "homegrown".
All mine. My fruit. :D
I usually feed/water twice a day. The first one at 10-14 hrs (0-4 hrs after light),
the second one around 20-24 hrs (8-4 hrs before night). I alternate feed vs plain water
at 2-1. In a rhytm like:
Feed Feed Water
Feed Feed Water
Feed Feed Water ...
Well That's all folks, next message will be in week12.
And I will post new pictures then.
Cheers and many bananas,
Goarilla

Switching to a "half and half" regiment starting today.
This morning was plain tap. In the evening I gave her a nuted elixir.
She's drinking a few gulps shy of a full coke bottle (1,5 litres).
12/07
Cut off a cola for tasting purposes, the Original Top but it was bend
into eventually one of the more smaller and slender growths.
13/07
Got to taste Sour Tangie today ... that's a strain
or family of strains I'm gonna keep an eye out for.
Solid Diesel base taste, a taste good Kushes also express.
With sour pepper, biscuit, citrus flavours
and topped with some hints of cheese. Brilliant !
Some intimate bud contact revealed I cracked a cola in the past
and it create a hole in the stem. Bad goarilla, Bad.
It's still a big producer though.
I read the instructions on the CaMg supplement I use (Aptus CaMg Boost) and
it warns against using it with PK boosters. So I shuffled the CaMg out of the elixir
into its own. The water feeding in my rhythm now contains some CaMg.
If a year is a DWord, 13 Weeks is a byte long and there is beauty
in that techno-ict-stoner circumstantial round number.
But I do worry I will harvest too soon, too soon for that full
Indicai-ish effect. Ooh dillema.
What do you guys think, seeing the slightly better quality pictures ?
Greetings,
Goarilla
Confusion weeks.
We've had a lot of troubles.
One can call this a staggered harvest.
I've tasted it three times and it's still fluffy and little bit nutesour.
A lot less sour than the PL#2 at final harvest. But it's finally getting there, buds are big. Some calyxes were
swollen sufficiently. Last tastetest reveals it's still a weak strength smoke but it's leaps and bounds from the
test before that. So ... It's getting there :D.
Al lot of the hairs on the buds that are actually worth something are still Porcupine White,
So Back on feed.
I'm going on for a little while. Last push.
Cheers and Many bananas.

Juggling plants inside to outside and reverse has introduced a small whitefly
colony (Thyme plants). A troupe of aphids or fungus gnats also maybe.
But I hope, although I don't
like what I see, that I may have introduced powdery mildew, which
will eat the buds according to respectable literature.
So I've decided to start the light nute flush today.
And will follow up with a plain water flush in a few days.
In the mean time I'm spraying the infected plants, assuming all of them are infected with
a mixture of with milk (1/10), sesame oil (1/20) and water.
I'm also running the closet a little lower on the RH side.
Which will kill our cut clones. But heej
I Can't just spontaneously grow a new germ/clone/veg room/closet.

The plant is throwing sex shenanigans in the fight.
Removed a male flower from a bud :S. I'll assume it's from age, not stress nor genetics.
"We've got Anthlers in the Butt" :)
Will need to be extra careful from now on and will
tag the hermie buds.
I start too much experiments.
Or I could do with a bigger KongCave.
Data we are gonna try to collect on harvest:
- Pictures with measurement devices on scale for comparison.
- length root stem, distance from ground to longest budtip
- lengths main stems, defined as distance from proximal interface with
stem to tip of bud.
- diameters of main stems and root
- wet weights, main stems cut to one inch of edge and dry weights

01/08 Early Early morning just barely august really.
I noticed my dominant top getting thinner, browner. Flowers were turning so fragile
touching them ever so slightly caused them to break off :S.
Pulling back the bud revealed BUDROTTTT !!!!
So we harvested. Fingers crossed the unaffected buds survive.
God damn god damn.

EPILOGUE - HINDSIGHT
So what have we've learned of this erratic grow:
- Don't LST too hard and too fast as you need 'bud -> pot rim' space for better flushing.
I think I scraped a few buds with my wet hands during light nute flush.
- Even if it's mighty inconvenient and it is, remove all flush materials a few hours before nightfall.
I used a big +50L bucket filled with a few bricks as a stage for my pot, so I could flash under the LED instead
of in the tub under a single weak bathroom light. I was mighty tired at night so I left the pot on the bucket for
the whole night.
- Keep outdoor/indoor plants separated.
- Milk and oil (neem) regularly in veg to keep small critters out.
- Hygiene, Hygiene, Hygiene
- Never listen to the others unless they are right :D.
- Work harder at the growdiary.
01/08
Another bud with bud rot found. I'm gonna have to inspect them regularly.
Wish me luck.
