This week we transplanted the girls into 4 gallon auto pots. We flipped them using the 36-hour dark method to stimulate fast flowering. I performed some LST and tried to spread those babies out. They’re already mainlined. Right now I’m working out the bugs with ventilation air flow, and the autopots. This week we’re gonna focus on turning on the autpots getting a trellis situated and starting to spread the Scrog out. I’m running only five of the eight LED bars because they haven’t spread out all the way yet. I kind of like this feature so I don’t waste energy on empty space.

Thanks for stopping by Gromies. My first indoor grow (since 1988). Been killing it outside for the past 4 years. Just wanna see what I can do in a tent in the garage. 1000w LED, 4G Autopots, 5x5 tent, coco coir, GH 3-part+, RO water, clones Purple Push Pops and Black Cherry Gelato The girls were defoliated a few days ago and are filling in. The canopy is developing flat. The stems are hardening, making scrogging more difficult. The autopots are turned in and slurping away. So far I like (love?) this system. I’m running it in a 5g reservoir and will upgrade to a larger one next week. This weeks accomplishments: Autopots turned on and functioning Trellis installed Added 2 black cherry gelato phenos (week 1) Dehumidifier venting installed This weeks targets: Fill the tent Stabilize temp, humidity and VPD. Stretch trellis with pvc Dialing in the ac infinity pro controller Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues Better oscillating fans for top and bottom airflow I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck my gromies.

Flowering Purple Push Pops (grew 2023 outside) and Black Cherry Gelato (love to smoke it, first time growing) Clones- from my clone guy- 4 Purple Push Pops and 2 Black Cherry Gelato 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, GH 3-part+ flourolicious, calimagic, SI, chelated iron, and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal This week I kept up the tucking and defoliating with the objective of stretching out the scrog and having at least one bud site per grid. I also upgraded to an oscillating fan which I hung to free up grow space. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I bumped my VPD up to account for leaf temp. The autopots are working. They just increased their (self feeding) appetite - up from .3 gallon a day to .8 gallons a day. This weeks accomplishments: Dehumidifier venting tuning Filled each scrog grid with at least one cola Stabilize temp, humidity and VPD. Stretched trellis with pvc frame Better oscillating fans for top and bottom airflow This week to-do By Monday evening, I have to install two more autopots - I’m still hand feeding the gelatos. I’m going on vaca, so we’ll see how this turns out. Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues My fiancé is getting jealous of all the attention to my grow! I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck gromies.

4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside)2 Black Cherry Gelato BCG (love to smoke it, first time growing) Clones- from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, GH 3-part+ flourolicious, calimagic, SI, chelated iron, and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal This week I was out of town and let my grow grow. The autopots did their thing at about .6g a day. I did battle multiple hot days in the garage. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I ran out of bloom and used some powdered kool bloom and it worked well. Thinking of switching to jacks RO but it’s working so good now I don’t want to switch. This weeks accomplishments: install two more autopots - for the gelatos. I put the gelatos in fabric autopots, one 5g xl and one 15g xxl. Scrogging the gelatos to flatten the canpoy Long term issues Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues - my humidity crept up high when I was gone and I saw a few powder leaves which were promptly removed upon my return. I had to take my fiancé to a swanky resort for a few days. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck gromies. Check out my black cherry gelato grow. Soon I’ll be posting my outdoor light dep grow - side by side with my indoor grow- same clone batch. This should be a great comparison of indoor versus outdoor grows side by side 👍

Garage grow SoCal This week the girls had a hot week in the garage averaging 88°. We started filling out, got more mature, and started showing colors. We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. I’m having reservoir funk issues so I’m switching to jacks RO this week. .8g a day. This weeks accomplishments: Split electric load (safety) This week: Switch nutes upgrade reservoir and lines next week. Long term issues It’s hot. Straight 90s this week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing pest and mold issues during high humidity conditions. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck gromies. Check out my black cherry gelato grow. Just posted my outdoor light dep grow - side by side with my indoor grow- same clone batch. 4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside). Clones from my clone guy 1000w LED, 4G Autopots,, coco/perlite 65/35, Jacks RO + dry koolblom and humic acid , RO water, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging 88°. The girls are starting to get fat and enter the ripening stage. Purples are strong. I got purple trichomes!! We’re running just under 1000ppm with no issues. We switched nutes and reservoir funk is gone. This weeks accomplishments: Switch from GH to Jacks RO Install separate reservoirs for black cherry gelato and purple push pops Clean all autopots and reservoir lines. Install separate lines for black cherry gelato This weeks issues: Spider mites. Found them in the outside grow and found a few leaves with them inside. Big time nightmare. Primarily on the gelatos inside. Doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues It’s hot. High 80s low 90s all week. So the same - Cooling and VPD targets during heat waves Preventing the spread of mites and mold issues during high humidity conditions Managing girlfriend expectations through harvest. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Best of luck gromies. Check out my black cherry gelato grow and compare side by side with my indoor grow- same clone batch. This should be a great comparison of indoor versus outdoor grows on the same schedule, same nutes and same clone batch 👍

Garage grow SoCal Another hot week in the garage averaging high of 88°. We just put in AC/dehumidifier and we brought down the temp to 72 degrees 48 relative humility with lights on for ripening. We’re starting to finish the ripening stage and pretty soon we will cut the tops. Purples are strong. Smell is unbelievable sweet and dank. Nugz are super dense. Trichomes are dripping. As we’re at the final few days we’re running straight Jacks RO until we finish, no flush. This weeks accomplishments: Ac for ripening We eradicated the Spider mites by doing manual scouting and removal every day. Long term issues None. We’re just about done. I hope you all are having as much fun as I am. Thanks to my finance for all of her patience. Check out my black cherry gelato grow and compare side by side with my indoor grow- same clone batch. 4 Purple Push Pops PPP (grew 2023 outside). Clones from my clone guy. 1000w LED, 4G Autopots, coco/perlite 65/35, RO water, Jacks RO, AC pro Controller and T8, 5x5 GG Tent with extension. Garage grow SoCal We concluded the ripening this week with AC and dehumidification at 70° 40% relative humidity lights on and 65° and 45% relative humidity lights off. We’re feeding Jacks RO and silica to the end, hence the fan leaves are still relatively healthy. This is a no flush grow. I’ve n been growing at 80% lights (800w) for most of the Grow. During ripening, I pushed it to 90% or 900 W. On the final day, I run the lights 24 hours and I run 15 minute cycles of 900 W and 1000 W. Just following the science; No more flushing and push the lights higher and higher at the end. We started a slow chop to fine tune the quality and get more light deeper into the canopy. After 4 more days of testing and monitoring they were ready, it all came down and we filled the 6-tier drying rack. We’re curing At 70° and 55% relative humidity for two days and then bumping that humidity to 62%. The test round (top colas) is already in jars and beginning the burping stage. Fiancé is happy, the hard work is coming to an end, and it’s time to start enjoying the fruits of our labor. Best of luck on your grow.
