So this was the week I figured out that the roots had grown into a solid matted block. She was showing signs of under watering, over watering, nute deficiencies, nute excesses, etc... she was in rough shape, so I decided to repot her into a full 10 gallon pot. I know, I know, entirely overkill. I've seen giant plants in just 7 gallon pots. I'm well aware that 10 gallon pots are overkill for a 2x2. BUT, I do it anyways...my thought is that I want to give the plant AMPLE space to set up a network with the mycelium and be able to efficiently use the grow medium and grow in an almost natural way with very little root restriction or air trimming. I know of only one youtuber that does the same method, so I would love to hear peoples thoughts on that....waste of space, or legitimate technique?
