Welcome to the Smoking Tiki's hut!
I will grow 4 autoflowering from Fast Buds in front of a South-East oriented window.
One year ago, I received the seeds and conserved them into my fridge door. Now, the "FBT2304" has become the "Pound Cake Auto". I started with 8 seeds (2 for each strain). They all germinated! For each strain, I took the seed with the bigger root and put it in its final 1,5l pot.
I didn't find my usual soil at the store so I took a variant of it, let's see how it goes. It's also the first time I'm adding some Mycorrhizal Inoculant (fungi) from Dynomyco. I mixed 15g of Dynomyco with the soil for each plant.
The "SUN" column in the weekly report is filled based on my daily electricity production. My solar panels are oriented at 90° compared to the window but it's just to give a rough idea of the amount of light received by the plant.
0 : very cloudy day
+ : cloudy day
++ : sunny day
+++ : very sunny day
Have a nice journey through my grow diary!
Day 5 : The Apricot was still stuck in its seed so I decided to remove it. I broke one cotyledon during the process. Hopefully, the second seed was still in the paper towel and was already out of the seed shell. I replaced the plant 1 with the plant 2. The root of the plant 2 seems more developped than the plant 1. So in the end, I guess it's a good thing I broke the cotyledon of the plant 1 because the plant 2 looks stronger.
Day 8 : The plants in the soil developed pretty well so I decided to get rid of the back-up seeds and took some pictures before throwing them away. They were all out of their shell with nice root, great seeds!
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 35-65% depending on the sun
Temperature range : 19-30°C depending on the sun
SUN Average : sunny
Plants heights at the end of the week :
-------------------------------------------
Apricot : 9cm
Gorilla Punch : 8.5cm
Orange Sherbet : 6.5cm
Pound Cake : 9.5cm
D16 : So far, the weather is really cloudy for the month of June and the plants stretched due to the lack of light. Since this is their final pots I decided to add a bit of soil around the stem to stabilize them. So far, it works pretty well. To test their stability, I've tried to blow on the plant before and after and the difference was clear!
The weather was bad this week but knowing that, the plants grew pretty well.
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 60-70%
Temperature range : 18-21°C
SUN Average : cloudy
Plants heights at the end of the week :
-------------------------------------------
Apricot : 12 cm
Gorilla Punch : 10 cm
Orange Sherbet : 10 cm
Pound Cake : 12.5 cm
The weather was sunny and hot this week and the plants grew pretty well even if they have long and thin stems. The roots reached the bottom of the pot for most of them. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake have developped some tiny lateral branches. The Gorilla Punch already have some pistils.
So far, the most developped plants are Gorilla Punch and Pound Cake, followed by Orange Sherbet and Apricot. The Apricot stem is thinner than the other ones. Maybe due to its tougher start.
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 30-65% depending on the sun
Temperature range : 20-30°C depending on the sun
SUN Average : sunny
Plants heights at the end of the week :
-------------------------------------------
Apricot : 16.5 cm
Gorilla Punch : 17 cm
Orange Sherbet : 15.5 cm
Pound Cake : 18.5 cm
The weather was really bad this week, I'm still waiting for the summer to start... The plants struggle to grow properly with such little light. They have only between 3 and 4 nodes and no real lateral branches. The first pistils are already there for most of them. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake are a bit bigger then the others that's why I only watered 2 out of 4 this week. My tiny pot grow from last year on the same window gave me a better results so far so I don't expect much from this grow now. I will probably have a few tiny buds in the end, let's see.
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 60-70%
Temperature range : 20-23°C
SUN Average : cloudy
Plants heights at the end of the week :
-------------------------------------------
Apricot : 18.5 cm
Gorilla Punch : 21 cm
Orange Sherbet : 18.5 cm
Pound Cake : 24.5 cm
All the plants have started their flowering. The Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake are ok but the Apricot and the Orange Sherbet are under-developped. I have two purple phenotypes, nice 😎
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 30-70% depending on the sun
Temperature range : 20-30°C depending on the sun
SUN Average : sunny
Plants heights at the end of the week :
-------------------------------------------
Apricot : 20.5 cm
Gorilla Punch : 24 cm
Orange Sherbet : 22.5 cm
Pound Cake : 31 cm
The sun was there this week. Despite the yellowing of the lower leaves, the Gorilla Punch and the Pound Cake look good. The Apricot and the Orange Sherbet are not so good.
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 30-65% depending on the sun
Temperature range : 20-30°C depending on the sun
SUN Average : very sunny
Plants heights at the end of the week :
-------------------------------------------
Apricot : 20,5 cm
Gorilla Punch : 25 cm
Orange Sherbet : 25.5 cm
Pound Cake : 33 cm
The stretch is over for the 4 plants. The buds grow slowly but the weather was bad once again. The lower leaves are yellowing so I decided to add some bio-grow.
Parameters :
-------------------------------------------
Humidity range : 30-70% depending on the sun
Temperature range : 21-30°C depending on the sun
SUN Average : cloudy
Plants heights at the end of the week :

Apricot : 20,5 cm
Gorilla Punch : 25 cm
Orange Sherbet : 26.5 cm

Buds are growing, pistils are getting orange, harvest is approaching!
Parameters :

This week I harvested the Gorilla Punch. I will probably harvest the other ones in a week or two
Parameters :

Humidity range : 30-65% depending on the sun
Temperature range : 21-30°C depending on the sun
SUN Average : sunny
No fertilizer this week. I harvested the Apricot and the Pound Cake. I will wait one more week for the Orange Sherbet because it doesn't seem ready even if it's in the Fast Buds harvest range. This week should be the last "flowering" week, next ones will be the harvests. I don't want to add another flowering week just for the Orange Sherbet, there will be nothing to see that will not be included in the harvest.
During half of the grow, the weather was really bad, especially for the summer period. The worst weather was during the vegetative phase. The plants didn't receive enough light which resulted in poor roots and leaves development. Because of that, the plants didn't have the chance to grow nice buds even if the sun was there during most of the flowering phase. Last summer, I grew a Tropicana Cookies (also from Fast Buds) in a tiny pot at the exact same spot and had better results despite the smaller pot. I didn't record the sun for that year but the weather was better from what I remember. I'm disapointed by the weather but cannot blame the plants. You cannot expect beautiful plants and buds if they don't have light 😞 In the end, my summer grows are more like bonus grows (my main grows are under a light in the winter) and I make them just for fun and to be able to taste new weeds without too much investment. So, mission accomplished 😎

COMPARISON BETWEEN THE FOUR PLANTS :
--------------------------------------------------
The best plant : Pound Cake - biggest plant, roots and buds.
The best yield : Even if I didn't manage to trigger my scale, it's the Pound Cake.
The best smell : They all smell pretty good. But the strongest smells were Pound Cake and Orange Sherbet.
The best high : I can't tell, but I liked them all 😎
My favorite overall : Pound Cake👌
