Germination

Grandmas_Boy This run will be Robin Hood Seeds' Nanaz. Super stoked for this one... All the pics I've seen are super frosty and gorgeous. This will be my first time growing anything from THC Titan, and I'm sure I will be impressed. Seed went straight into 10 gallon pot after germination. Will be keeping the watering tight around the plant for the first few weeks to help form a good root ball and help prevent the soil from becoming to packed down too early. This is what I've done every time and works for me, but to each their own.

Grandmas_Boy Not a whole lot to do this week, other than watch the little ones grow. Got a little heavy handed with the watering on thursday and neither the Nanaz or the Apple Candie were happy with me. I may have slowed them down a bit, but accidents happen and lessons are learned. I'm starting to see the tiniest little node growth starting, and will be posting pics of them the next week.

Grandmas_Boy Just another week. VPD staying between 1.05 and 1.15 kPa. She doesn't have the same issue the Apple Candie does with the soil being too hot. Makes me think she's gonna be a hungry girl...gonna need to keep an eye on her when feeding time rolls around. Topping should be some time next week or the week after depending on how fast these next couple nodes roll out. Looking to have 3 or 4 nodes before topping.

Grandmas_Boy Topped both girls this week. Got about six, maybe eight, main branches on this girl growing out. Going to let them grow out a couple more inches before starting to pull them down and LST her. Feeding is next week. Accidently let the water run out on my humidifiers and got some taco-ing on her. As of writing this, have started having issues with my humidifier... First setting isn't enough to bring up the humidity to 60% and the second setting is making my exhaust fan sound like a jet engine. Gonna have to get a new one, which sucks cause....here's the next bit of bad news... My wife and I have decided, after our rent went up by 50%... that its time to move. So unfortunately, going to have to rush these plants and switch them to flower earlier than I was planning. I at least managed to save them the fate of getting chopped. But I was planning an 8 week veg....but looking like a 4-6 week veg.

Grandmas_Boy Holy Cow... this tent is being an absolute pain in the blunt. So as I said, my humidifier needs to be replaced, but with us moving soon and this being the last grow in this spot... I can't justify getting a new humidifier when there's a million other things I should be spending my money on. With that being said, her humidity has been all over the place...up in the high 80's at some points, and down in the 50's at other points. Considering how wildly her VPD is fluctuating, she's handling it like a CHAMP. To be fair, in the wild the plants would be experiencing similar ebb's and flow's in weather and humidity. She started showing signs that she was getting hungry so I fed her 10 teaspoons of Terp Tea Grow and 5 tablespoons of Gaia Green all purpose 4-4-4 (Top dressing).

Grandmas_Boy Well, this update is coming wayyy after the fact. As I mentioned in another post, wife and I were in the market for a house. Well...we found a house! We closed on it a couple months ago, and with all the confusion and moving, didn't come and update either grow diaries. Unfortunately, due to the distance of the move it wasn't feasible to bring the plants. We also didn't have anyone that we knew that could adopt them either. So with a heavy heart, I had to cull them. Gave them a little "party" and sat and smoked with them, then cut them down... With that being said, I am currently in the process of getting the new spot wired and planned out for future grows! Still gonna be running two 2'x2' AC Infinity tents for now, however I am considering getting another 2'x2' or even a 2'x4'. I don't need a ton of plants going at once, at least not at the moment as I'm only growing for personal. But one day I would like to try my hand at breeding. So for now, there wont be any updates until I can get the new place set and a new round of seeds going. Next run is going to have to be Purple Lemonade by Fastbuds, because I'm running out! (lol)
