Day 21: The plants are doing quite well. They seem to be progressing faster than previous times. Going to heavy defoliate at lights out. Buds are coming along nicely and there are multiple bud sites and fairly stacked.

Which is more important, humidity or fresh air flow? I have to pick a medium. If Fresh air fan is on 24 hrs RH drops to 30% with humidifier on max To keep RH at 50% fan is on 15 mins per hour but growth seems slow. Any tips or do I need to chill haven’t done seeds in a while.

Hi, i dont think your Plants are growing slow. Its a"classc" strain, and not to compare with the <"new genetics" i dont see your problems in rh or fresh air. Its like athos said. Hemp is very resiliant and can grow under nearly every condition.I see a lot of new growth and good plants. And I agree to your Idea to rise the Light. its a lot of lumen that blast on the girls.

Yellowing again same as NS diary. Week 5, ph is good going in and in run off, recalibtared pen. lowered feedings to lower media salts. Could it be light burn 750w hps 22x22 air cooled hood 24” away. Anybody ever use a diffuser? Or underfeeding? Would appreciate your thoughts.

You got 2 problems, the first one is called tips’n’stripes, I can tell from the yellow stripes plus the leaves which start to shrivel up, your light is too close and/or too powerful. The second one is too many nutrients, it creates a hypertonic condition where the cells start to release their water to return the system to an isotonic condition from the roots and your leaves start to burn from the edges .....

@SAC87, remember, indoor there’s only 3 problems, too much light, too much water, too many nutrients.... 😊

SAC87commented6 years ago
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, ok sounds good. I’ll be looking into a diffuser and see what I can find as far as info on feeding and approximate residual medium ppm levels. Thanks for the help. I really appreciate it and hopefully will have a not burnt harvest next round. If any other experienced growers have any solid info on what ppms of run off should generally be, I’d love to hear it.

@SAC87, Wish you the best man! They will be perfect this time round :)

SAC87commented6 years ago
@420Maru, thanks. I’m hoping it’ll go well. I used an organic soil product on the last ones and got aphids, so I scrapped that stuff and went back to my coco sunshine perlite blend and am hoping to have better results.

Always adjustments to be made but overall I think you should be happy with your current garden, they'll finish strong.

@GreenHouseLab, thanks, I do know it could be way worse and the fact that I’ll get something to ease my pain does make me very happy. Just want it to be the best I can make it.

Wow .... Your plants look amazing , keep up the good work and good luck with the rest of your grow.

SAC87commented6 years ago
@Mr_Weeds_Autos, that’s why I’ve never done an auto, don’t have my starts down well enough to not be waste of time. I’m also looking for a medical strain that works best then clone. See what happens. Good luck with your next round.

Things look to be coming together with your grow very nicely. Healthy color and plants with vigor is always a winning combination in my opinion. I'm very excited to see how these plants progress as you start training and flowering them. Best wishes buddy :D

@SAC87, Sounds like some good growth going there. And as far as the problems I know what you mean I just basically gave up on my blue tooth auto grow , I made several mistakes including starting them in solo cups which I never do, so I tossed the whole thing, you live and you learn tho.

@SensiSmellYahLater,@Mr_Weeds_Autos, thanks, I appreciate the support. I’ve been having a bunch of problems so it’s nice to hear. I think I’m starting to minimize the problems, grew 2 nodes over the last 48 hours.

great results ! btw i'm reading @b4rns answer to your grow question again, really interesting info in there!
SAC87
SAC87commented6 years ago
@CRiSPrGrow, @b4rns, yes there definitely is. I went back and watched a lot of the Grow Boss videos on YouTube and it all makes sense. I have put as much of the info I can into the next round. There is so much to learn and put into action to get bumper crops. I really appreciate all the help that available on here.

@Iop420, haha it’s so hard to be patient. What makes it even harder is I have been off work with an injury for the past couple months and have endless amounts of time to just watch them and will them to be bigger.

In the beginning up to week 3 the seedlings dont need a lot of light. Or better said they need light and the best very close. Iam using 2x26 Watt LED for my little ones for the first 2-3 weeks I can put then very close to the seedlings and they dont get burnt. After week 3/4 they get stronger light. It different on every strain. If you are using "big Light" its difficult to find the right distance to the seedlings, so they dont stretch or getting a Lightburn. Happy growing

To answer your question: Dude chill. It's a weed, it will grow on almost any conditions. I usually veg with 30% to 40% humidity with no issue. The most usual culprits for slow growth are over watering and low temperatures (below 23°C / 73°F)
