ETHOS Fanta Sea RBX + Citradelic Sunset - First Diary!
Hello fellow growers!
This is my first entry on growdiaries. I've been growing for about two and a half years, and got most of my knowledge following other growers from this site. I've decided to start sharing my own grows, so I can learn from experienced growers even more, and help other growers too if I can. This is around my 7th grow now.
I didn't document any of the veg for this plant, and only started documenting since Week 4, but going forward I will be trying to document the whole cycle of the plant.
I'm running x2 ETHOS Fanta Sea RBX & x2 ETHOS Citradellic Sunset. I vegged them for around two months in 1 liter pots, than transplanted them to the larger 15 liter pots and into my flowering tent for about a month. I usually flip them after a week or so from transplanting, but this time I was abroad and I didn't want to flip them and not tend to them during the first weeks of flowering, when the huge growth spurt happens, so I decided to flip them after I come back.
The result ended up being with all plants growing and stretching like crazy during my time away, before even flipping. Once I flipped, I threw in a scrog net and bended as much as possible. A week later ended up putting up another scrog net. I was afraid that the plants would stretch right under the lights, but now during week 4, any growing seems to have stopped and the plants energy is being channeled into the buds.
During the first 3 Weeks of flowering, I had a huge issue with humidity which stayed around 70%. Problems stemmed from being in a basement, bushy plants, bad ventilation & perspiration from AC + Heat from light fixture. I learned much more about humidity from this grow. It's much more stable now after adding another dehumidifiert, fixing the ventilation and defoliating heavily.
See you next week for the next entry!
Week 5 is here and i'm honestly very happy with this grow.
No issues coming into this week, aside from the humidity of course. Above the cannopy is around 50-55, under is at around 60-65. I should be fine like this till the end of the grow.
If you have any suggestions on how to lower the humidity a bit more, please hit me up! I'm out of ideas at this point.
Huge citrus aroma coming out of these four babies!
This isn't my first ETHOS grow. I grew Planet of the Grapes, Member Berry & Cherry Gar-See-Ya in the past. I was happy with all of the grows, but i've grew really fond of citrus pheno grows, after I got a very lemony pheno from a Planet of the Grapes tree. None of them match the citrus aroma that these plants are emitting.
Looking forward to cross the finish line with these! Probably still 4-5 weeks away from harvest.
I’m really happy with this grow. The Fanta RBX has the most orangey/mandarin aroma i’ve ever smelled. The citradellic also has a great citrus aroma, but I can’t really point to a specific smell other than citrusy.
Humidity has gotten a bit better since I started intaking air directly from outside. Temperatures outside have also been very hot (which helps a lot with humidity) so the AC is staying on 24/7 from this point onwards 😭.
I will probably start giving ripening nutes from next week, up to week 8, and push these ladies to produce some larger and more resinous buds.
Cya next week!
Late to update this week. Was out of town and finally I found some time to update.
I started giving them a healthy dose of KoolBloom to start finish this grow off. Temperature is getting higher and I wish I started these girls 2 weeks earlier, but hindsight is 420.
I think these should be ready by week 9, so i’ll be looking at those trichomes at this stage of the grow. I like mine cloudy. What do you all prefer?
