watering procedure is still 1 gal/plant per occasion 1.5tsp/plant of greengro Bloom at start of flowering (w/1 gallon of water) Temperatures have been pretty warm this week (90-100 outside)...85deg in the grow room. Not sure if this combined with light on the high side for the plant on the right (#2) caused some stress. Happy to hear any thoughts. Need to figure out some kind of stand for the microscope to improve pictures Now the cool pictures can start 😀

No nutrients for week 3. Looks like a little nutrient burn from week 2 of flower (overall week 6) supplement. So water only. Canopy has evened out a little after moving the exhaust fan outside of the tent and centering the light. Found some initial signs of PM near the end of week 3. I am pretty disappointed. But will try to save them. Plants were heavily defoliated, Humidity dropped to

Any strategies that have had success dealing with PM? Please check the attached photo.

Looks like you got some other issues with the leafs, potassium could be the cause on the edges yellowing. WPM is a cunt of thing to deal with if that is indeed what it is, confrim its not just some minerals dried up on it. Some relief can happen with spraying the leaves down with horticultural oil. helps prevent the spores from germinating the oil layer makes it harder. Other things that can help is adding in Si aka sillica to the grow. This can help make the plant more robust to the spores and makes it harder for them to penetrate the leaves. One thing you want to do is not get the leaves wet. WPM spores germinate when its wet and damp, and the fungus its self releases lots of spores when its dry and hot. so catch 22. Do not reuse the soil unless its been sterilized, you need to sterilize all the pots and tent its grown in. one user who has had extensive WPM issues have found a strong link to WPM and dew point. So if your hitting the dew point for the RH/temps in your growing environment your likely going to have WPM. Even if you apply all the preventatives listed above. Others have said to spray milk on them. Don't.... a better solution is to make a lactobacteria serium from the milk and use that. Its all about changing the PH of the leaves surface to help prevent the spores germination and causing an issue in the first place or out competing for real estate by layering it in bacteria that won't harm the plant. Other options include potassium carbonate. shown to have about a 30% effectiveness on WPM, reapplication is needed, especially after a rain.

I greatly appreciate the previous feedback on the image I posted. But there was some doubt over the image shown being WPM. Do the attached photos show PM? Also, I know there is some nutrient burn from previous week nutrients.

Yes mate. So, this isn't sooo bad. As your buds haven't fully grown, it's not a right off. So, what you need to do avoid this. RH is a factor. But you can grow in 60-70% RH I do. The key is ventilation. You must have an exhaust set up to suck air from your tent. (It's called a negative seal) So, to treat this. U can do a few things. Speed up your air exchange and MAKE sure your plant has no stale air in its environment. So oscillating fan will be ideal. You just want your swaying a little. Your plant is young. Have a quick look with a loop. Check your young buds. If you see what looks like spiders webs. Then your plant those buds have had it. They'll need to be removed. 15-30x loop or a good Marco camera on a new phone So, the parts that does have WPM, mix up a H202 solution. 1-5-10 H202 (3-6% can be got in any chemist/pharmacy/health store), make a wash, use a cloth and wipe your leaves down. You can also lighly spray the whole plant. (Cover your buds with hands and spray close) then you need to wipe down. Do this outside your tent Then, spray your whole tent down, (a stronger solution you can use). Wipe down. KEEP UP VENTILATION. It's actually not from high RH, yes, it's a factor of course. But as I said. My crops, espically my last one. I had 30-35 plants going and was rotating them in & out of my 1m2 & 70cm2 (as a dark tent for the day). And my RH has been from 70-63 my ENTIRE crop. And I've just harvest the best weed of my entire 6 crops. Not 1 bit of bud rot. Ventilation is your friend. Also, move plants around. Those who are at the back. That don't get a lot of airflow, moving them about will lower this again. GL and feel free 2 mes me, regarding any of this.. But please check your buds for white strands.

removed plants from tent. Wiped plants with hydrogen peroxide solution (1 part 3% peroxide 2 parts distilled water). Cleaned tent with 3% peroxide and 90% rubbing alcohol. Returned plants to tent and re-installed screen. looks like I have some soil PH problems. Will start to correct that.

Adjusted the setup to hopefully better control the environment (and cost less...so I am not dehumidifying the entire lung room) BY#1 (on the left) looks like it is struggling a bit. -buds are smaller -color is poor BY#2 (on the right) looks much more content

Well after inspection of the plants at the start of week 9 I have elected to delay harvesting for one more week. The plants seem to desire 9 weeks for flowering based on trichomes and pistils. BY#1 is a surprisingly colorful plant. BY#2 is starting to show some of those same color characteristics just a couple weeks later on.
