First real grow. I decided to go for a bagseed to practice before popping one of the expensive ones. Word has been that the grower had banana kush cuttings and a chocolope haze seed that turned into a herm. The seed was soaked in a metal jar with water overnight and put into a jiffy the next morning. Seedling appeared on the 15th of April. It was kept under a dome with high humidity. On the 22nd of April the jiffy was put into a 1L pot with a coco and perlit mix. Started giving nutrients at the end of week two on the 28th of April.
After letting it grow for two weeks, i decided to put the plant in a larger pot und apply a little bit of low stress training on 6th of may. That worked very well and by the end of the week on 12th of may, it doubled in size and was healthy enough to remove the top.
Plant seemed not to have any issue with being topped. Additionally, new growth appeared at the stem due to light from the lst. Started training the new branches too
Letting the plant grow, she was happy when I left for 8 days for vacation. Got water every week, later I learned coco can be watered every day. After the vacation I had issues with fungus gnats so I used some nematodes.
Put her into an 11L pot on the 6th of June. Started to grow very well and was overlapping her new pot after a few days on the 9th of June. She is happy , her little sister is not doing that well.
I started to be concerned about leaf color and burned tips. Flushed the pot on the 11th of June with 3L of ph 6 water. no more water that week. Generally, was only giving water once per week at that point.
Tried scroging but wasn't happy with the net I bought. Used RQS bending clips instead. Using them to apply more low stress training and to create a screen of green through that. Reduced nutrients due to burn of the week prior.
Started watering every day, reduced the runoff ec to 1.6, and started giving more nutrients, especially calmag because I assumed that the leaf color came from mag deficiency. Found one or two aphids so I tried to fight them with ladybugs. Worked pretty well, even though they didn't live as long as I hoped.
Switched to 12/12 on the 28th of June right after I got the SANlight 1.5 3-60. Switched to flower with new light, new watering schedule (every day), and now visible pests. Happy plant. Replaced ph - grow with ph - bloom.
Leaf color looked healthier and healthier, and she liked her new light. Took some clones in cases I wanted to keep that strain and phenotype. Started adding bloom / top-max nutrients by the end of the week.
She started flowering pretty fast and stretched and developed the first bud structure within a few days. I started adding bio-heaven by the end of the week. Still watering every day. Reducing calmag because leaves are turning too dark.
Seems to slow down with stretch at the end of flower week 3. She is looking very good and healthy. Keeping my tight watering schedule, going up with biobizz bloom and reducing biobizz grow.
Did some defoliation by the end of week 3 of flower. She isn't stretching any longer as much but I hope she is adding some weight in the next days and weeks. Tryed to add more PK but that just seemed to burn her.
Decided to cut early , due to burned leaves. Didnt want to loose all the flower to mold etc. Wasnt able to find the issue why it started burning that much. Probably due to the ph being off or not enough water/drain.
