Welcome back to our Gary Payton grow diary!
Week 8 marks a significant transition for our Gary Payton plants as we flip the light cycle to 12/12 to initiate the flowering phase. The plants have shown excellent growth over the past weeks, and they are now ready to begin pre-flowering.
Week 8 Highlights:
This week, we have switched the light cycle to 12 hours of light and 12 hours of darkness. This change will signal the plants to start the flowering phase. The plants are now entering the pre-flower stage, where the first signs of budding will begin to appear. This is an exciting time as we start to see the formation of flowers. The plants continue to grow vigorously, with strong stems and lush foliage. They have adapted well to the new light schedule, and the transition to flowering appears to be smooth.
Nutrient Support:
The nutrient schedule continues to include Sugar Royal, Plagron Alga Grow, and Great White. These nutrients will support the plants as they begin to transition into flowering, ensuring they have the necessary nutrients for healthy bud development.
Environmental Conditions:
The TrolMaster-controlled 4x4 tent continues to provide an optimal environment, with precise control over light, temperature, and humidity. Maintaining these conditions is crucial as the plants enter the flowering phase.

Upcoming Plans:
We will closely monitor the plants as they enter the flowering phase, watching for the first signs of buds and adjusting the nutrient schedule as necessary. As the plants begin to flower, we may adjust the nutrient mix to better support bud development. Maintaining optimal growing conditions will be crucial during the flowering phase to ensure the plants produce high-quality buds.
Stay tuned for more updates as we continue this exciting journey with our Gary Payton plants and watch them transition into the flowering phase.
Stay lifted,
Salokin
@WhiteEdge, will post the current run once it’s finished. This one I couldn’t update anymore due to website issues. On insta you’ll see some recent projects.
@Still_Smoq, thank you buddy:) they are getting greener now/darker. Must be that other soil I’m playing with. Drainage is much better than the all mix, but it seems to be causing issues, as I now need tonlos after ph in my organic grow….
@nonick123, absolutely right, I usually always ph, but somehow got away with not doing it in the biobizz all mix & plagron combination. The entire Anesia run nothing was ph‘d or ec‘d same for my other tent right now. Just didn’t like the thought of putting my ph meter in that alga line from plagron, but doing it now and it seems to be working…..
