SoCal Outdoor Light Dep - Purple Push Pops

This is an outdoor light depravation run on 3 Purple Push Pops(PPP). These were clones on May 5. I’m running this outdoor light dep grow side by side with my indoor garage grow. Each strain and site is set up to finish over 4 week period (july - Aug). After they’re all finished I’ll post an average per strain in both the indoor and outdoor sites. That is, if I finish…. ____________________________ This week we switched nutrient lines across all Grow’s from a General Hydroponics line to Jacks RO, reducing my nutrient mixing by over half. So far I’m quite impressed with the workability and predictive nature (ie ppm/ec and ph) of the solution. My plants seem to love it. As we are outside we’re dealing with pests and constantly changing environmental conditions. Coupled with stuffing large plants and a small closet make this grow more difficult than usual. I have all the exposure to the pests from the outside, coupled with the indoor high humidity environment of a closet – this is a breeding room for problems. But we’re chugging along. Big buds are starting to develop, purples are showing up…hairs are getting long - all great signs. The plants look and smell beautiful- pictures just don’t do these beauties justice. This week the pests arrived in coordination with the bud development. Spider mites and caterpillar larva showed up this week and that put fear in my heart . I’m trying to deal with them, but……it’s a lot. It’s the mites that worry me because I’m running a garage grow side by side will expose my garage grow to these pests (mites).
