Reviews. Nutrient
I really liked the nutes. I will use again. I was aiming for a mostly organic grow. I really needed to get my dosage down better throughout. This is the area I need to improve on the most. I under and overfeed. But I took copious notes and will learn from it for next time!
Not sure if this made any real difference in the final product. It was expensive and I might not use going forward. Kinda on the fence with this one...

3/10/19 - I harvested both the large and small plant at the 90 day mark (from seed to harvest). I wet trimmed the buds as best as possible. I hung the trimmed buds by coat hangers and clothes pins in my grow tent. I had NO lights on, zipped up with a small fan on bottom of tent running on low and the charcoal filter on low. I also had a humidifier running outside the tent to keep the room RH at between 50-55% and temps were between 63-68. My wet weights were 285.76 g for small plant / and 547.31 g for large plant. total wet weight was 833.07g for both plants. They dried for 6 full days. I took down on 3/16/19 - and cut buds off stems and put into 1qt large moth glass jars and used 62% boveda packs in each jar along with a small digital RH indicator. I put back in tent so no light would penetrate (all devices turned off now). Total Dry weight was: 117.95g / 4.16oz. for the large plant / and 57.85g / 2.04oz. for the small plant for a total dry yield of: 175.8g / 6.2oz. total for the grow.

Hi - newbie here. I noticed that my Autoflower grow has been going OK, Leave development is OK. But my concern is height of the plants. They seem to be growing out and not up! Not sure if this is normal at this stage? Two weeks in thus far.

Your plant is still a baby seedling, let it be, once it leaves the seedling stage (usually after the 3d week it will grow a lot faster That been said, there's nothing wrong with a short bushy plant, what you want is an even canopy of tops, height means very little.

One plant is doing great, the other is smaller and I noticed at the bottom a few leafs are spotted and brown discolored, I uploaded to my blog. The top leafs look good and other than it being smaller than the other it looks OK. Any ideas on bottom leafs and small size? - thanks!

I think they're looking good, for only 3 weeks old their size is not alarming, its completely natural for a plant to do better than its companion. I see you mentioned the use of the ocean farm soil which is very good and should have enough nutrients for several weeks. They may just be having a small recovery time from the transplant which can slow things down temporarily. I would just watch your waterings and keep them as evenly moist as possible and then allow them the several days to dry out, also if your humidity could go up slightly towards the 60-70 range that'd be probably good also. Being patient is one of the biggest struggles i have, but it tends to work itself out just giving them time and waiting. Happy growing. ✌️

hey there Dr.A ! a few things are combining and leading to your issue. First off overwatering, how can you tell you're overwatering ? the puffy leaves and the puffy space in between the veins of the leaves are a tell tale sign you're overwatering. I see you're adding cal mag but i also see what could be calcium deficiency, why? well calcium gets absorbed at <6PH something like 5.9 so you actually want to feed at lower PHs and let your soil buffer it out. PH of rain water is 5.5 does that make sense? Other things might have been hindering the development of these plants for example the solution temperature should be closer to 21 °C so it doesnt shock the roots with cold. Last thing is, looks like a combination of calcium and phosphorous deficiency. P deficiency leads to lower leaves to darken, get spots , curl down a bit and get yellow eventually. A common symptom is red or purple stems... basically exactly what you're seeing. Not to worry very easy to remedy , just get some bloom nutrients and start giving it to the plant, even before the flower, and the plant will recover. Hope this helps Dr.A ! 🚀

@@chiefyfuzznuts, thanks! Learning a lot the first time. The hardest part is not to mess with anything and let them go. It's been fun so far. My second plant is not doing as good as the first one, but its still doing OK. Next few weeks will be exciting with the potential growth...

what kind of ratchet system you have holding your vipar? looks tough

@@chiefyfuzznuts, Hi - I used Vivosun 1/8" rope hangers, new version that has the push button releases. I like them a lot. they are suppose to hold 75lbs @ piece, 150 a pair. You can get them at Amazon for $5.99 USD a pair. Just do a search in Amazon for "vivosun rope hangers" and the first ones that pop up are the push button....

@DR_ARK, yep I did write a bit more on the grow question answer... I'm here to serve ! as always in growing it's not the single thing but a combination of things snowballing into an issue that looks like one thing but comes from another ! 🚀

@CRiSPrGrow, Perfect - I re-read your comment above, and your dead on. I will start to use the Bloom nuts (instead of grow) at 1/4 strength, rework the Ph with CalMag+ and see how that works.. excellent advise - thanks again!

@Mr_Weeds_Autos, thank you! The two remaining seem to be catching steam now - growing pretty quick. Must just be me not knowing what to expect being new :-) - I am now trying to gauge how much to water when I water. With them being in 7 gallon pots now, from SOLO cups its hard to determine. But I think I have a good method so far with .75 (3 qts) per plant. I am really trying not to over water! I water today and the last time I watered was on the 25, and they seem to like that. I think someone mentioned that as they get older and mature the frequency of watering will increase... Touch and go so far but they look healthy... Thanks again!!

@DR_ARK, Hey bro it happens , especially with autos, they are more than sensitive if you ask me. Lol. And with no growth it would have been so stunted it wouldn't of been worth even taking care of until harvest trust , I've done it !

thank you! Lost one seedling, never really grew. the other two look promising. Learning a lot as I go along! @Mr_Weeds_Autos,

@Ricky, thank you! They are pretty resilient, they tend to like about 50% of recommended nutes... Keeping fingers crossed now for the homestretch.

Looks great! Also first time grower here. Please take my advice, I had 4 plants and 2 stretched altho same strain. You might wanna look into some LST or SCROG net to even your canopy. To maintain light distance same with each bud. Please don’t be like me and start lst or scrog earlier. Even if you haven’t topped them. My 2 cents
DR_ARK
DR_ARKcommented6 years ago
@JohnDee, thank you for the advise. Being my first grow I have been hesitant to do anything like that, but since the height is so different between the two, I may need to look into it...
