Mephisto Chemdogging RDWC grow

DAY 43 More pruning & defoliation - it's a constant battle to maintain control over these plants in DWC. Never got this strict with it before but it seems to be working with the plants concentrating on fewer colas. I was quite pessimistic last week but I am getting more positive about this grow as it progresses. The middle plant in the rightmost column looks like it could end up a really nice shape (see pic). DAY 45 Have upped nutrient strength (0.8 EC) and the plants seem to be responding - I think I was too low at 0.5 EC DAY 46 Ambient temperatures have really dropped so I switched one of the 240W LEDs for a 400W HPS. This has increased the temperature in the tent by about 2 or 3 C. More of an increase than I expected and shows how much cooler LEDs run. DAY 47 Left the HPS on all night for warmth and it kept the tent at 20C (was 16C without it). DAY 48 I took some pictures today from a different angle and the amazing vigour of the plants became apparent to me. Somehow a feeling of some very hardcore genetics beginning to be expressed. Really loving this grow.
