Plants sprouted except for Peanut Butter Breath due to still germinating, and Bubba's Gift hasn't sprouted either.
Using PH'd water w/ liquid seaweed 1ml per gal, along with floralicious plus at 1ml per gal, in a spray bottle to water currently.

Newberries are both acting and growing very strange. Hoping for a female and crazy characteristics from these babies.

The medium that I have the plants in contains no nutritional value. With that being said I do plan on transplanting into roots origanal soil. When would it be a good time to transplant/feed them?
what up @savthegrower ! first off don't worry bro, you're in soil as it is, and it does have nutrients in it as it is. That mary jane, she doesn t actually like nutrients that much, hot soil might hurt her as much as it might help her - depends! basically you main goal is to make sure your seedling makes it into a big enough plant in the right amount of time. So when you plant your seed and it germinates, it stretches it roots outwards and downwards as fast as it can. eventually it will reach the bottom and the sides of the cup. If you move it to another pot before then, it will slow down your veg, just a bit (it's really not a problem, but it takes a bit longer). So it's simple actually : just check the cup every so often and when you see the roots at the bottom of the cup, then you should transfer it. The transfer is the most sensitive part of the operation, any time you touch the roots move the plant or otherwise abuse it in any way, you will shock the plant , and this will make it take longer. So what you want to do is prepare you soil, make a cup-sized hole, then take your cup and cut the bottom out and make a cut on the side of the cup. gently place the cup (keep the side on) into the soil, then remove the sides and cover the seedling with some extra soil. That's it bro ! hope this helps ! 🚀
Coming into week three plants seem to be growing a bit slow. Which is working out perfect, due to having plants flowering in tent with better lighting. Excited for Deadly Sativa hoping its a female.
Week 4 is coming along well. Idk if you guys can see in the photos but I’m getting some leaf damage as if some pest is in my garden eating the leaves. Are there any things I can do to eliminate the possible threat?
Transplanted the following plants as well. Deadly Sativa (Unknown gender), Jelly Breath, La Kush Cake, and Platinum Scout V2 into 1 Gal. Pots. Due to the other plants being behind I might just run these 4 thru flower. Also got rid of the mutant Newberry. Stay tuned as these girls will only be in veg for a few more weeks.
Another good week. Did some LST on Deadly Sativa, Jelly Breath, LA Kush Cake, and Platinum Scout V2. I would say they all responded well to the LST, but due to rough play on my part I damaged one of the leading stems on Jelly Breath and it slowed her down a bit.
I plan on finishing this run with the following strains Deadly Sativa, Jelly Breath, LA Kush Cake, and Platinum Scout V2 due to their vigorous growth.
Two things, I supercropped the plants and damaged some stems on the plants. How can I go about fixing this and putting my plants in the beat situation for a recovery?
Also when do plants show sex?
hey Sav, so when you hurt your babies, what you want to do is protect the wound from light and air. The best thing to do that is thick duct tape, (the silver kind) , just make a bandage around it so no light and no air can come through, should heal within a week. Plants will show sex around 4 to 6 weeks old... for example your plants are ready to show sex ! Congratulations ! it's a.......... you tell me haha ! hope this helps ! 🚀
Finished my first grow. Now able to put these girls in the main tent. The light above is a Fluence Bioengineering Sypdr 2 LED (648 watts approx.).
Moved the girls into 5 gallon equivalent airpots. Using Roots Organics Orginal Soil for the whole grow.
Newberry was a male plant, so he was terminated.
Neem oil is used as a foliar spray for possible pest.
Topped all the girls, as they seem to be bouncing back nicely from the supercropping. Won’t be doing anymore major stressing, going to let them veg a couple more weeks.

So I addressed the calcium and magnesium deficiency, I purchased Roots Organic’s calcium and magnesium dry amendment and top dressed all of the plants accordingly.
They are bouncing back currently, I will be setting up the SCROG this week and will post pictures on Sunday.
Really excited for Bluenana she is definitely going to be something to watch!
Honestly they are have me excited.
Also, I’m growing organically and have not used any bottled nutes. I’m currently using all Roots Organic products. Sorry for not stating this sooner

I fixed the high temps in the room, always another good week growing!
Installed the trellis! Things are going well, last week of veg did a top-dressing with Roots Organic Grow by itself.

La Kush Cake: Started Off very strong would of continued to have very vigorous growth but due to a bad cal mag deficiency she was stunted pretty bad. She has bounced back nicely though. Also looks like she got a little nute burn as well but still looking healthy. (Back Left)
Bluenana: This plant is amazing 2 weeks behind (DS, LAKC, PGSC, JB)! Was growing out the tent almost! She was supercropped twice, the second time was when I installed the trellis and it was brutal will up load pics of the knuckles. Little Nute burn but plant is healthy. (Back middle)
Deadly Sativa: Excited about this plan, mostly because it’s suppose to be an old school Sativa like high. Plant is growing very fast. Was hit with a cal mag deficiency but caught it and she hasn’t looked backed since. No nute burn, loving life. (Back Right)
Bubba’s Gift: First I wanna say, I miss treated this girl in the beginning as she is a week behind and I just didn’t pay her any attention until I transplanted her. She is flourishing now, very excited to see how she turns out. 100% healthy no deficiencies. (Bottom Left)
PGSC: Healthy as well, been steady all grow! Excited to see how she comes out. In-house posted a pic of the mother Platinum plant and you can tell she is most likely a plat dom pheno due to the leaves. Very excited to see how frosty this girl gets. (Bottom Middle)
Jelly Breath: Struggling hard with this girl. Trying to figure out what is wrong she will be perked up right after I water her then back to lazy leaves. Focused on her right now as she is a S1 and don’t want her to get too stressed. (Bottom Right)
Overall excited to flip to flower on Monday! Not excited that I can’t clean up the garden as the grow goes cuz of the netting making it hard to reach. So please forgive me for my slightly dirty garden.
I plan on going the whole first week of flower just watering with plan tap water, bud candy, and molasses. Will be top feeding Roots foundation and bloom start of second week as I feel the soil is still hot due to the nute burn.
Ended the last week of veg going into flower!! Excited never grown photoperiods! Second grow ever!
Sprayed them down one last time with NEEM oil. Top dressed w/ elemental, foundation, and bloom from Roots Organic’s.
The plants at the bottom that you saw are Dj Short Newberry.

Bad news: DS turned out to be a male, so I trashed it last night.
Good week overall, temps and RH have been excellent. All and all things look well, and I'm excited for the weeks to come. Just fed them plain water this week.
Second Week of Flower!
Things are looking good, defoliated on Saturday, top fed La Kush Cake, Bluenana and Jelly Breath. Nothing much to really say, plants are looking healthy.

Will be able to capture the beauty of the flowers in the later weeks. Everything looks healthy.
Watering everyday, with just Big Bud and Bud Candy. Will continue to top feed by watching how every individual plant eats. Will have more vibrant photos in the weeks to come.

Sorry guys, life is getting busy busy. Trying to keep this diary up to date as much as possible. Bluenana is taking a hit, her leaves are yellowing pretty bad. I top dressed them on Wednesday so hopefully she starts bouncing back.
Also, the Bubba's Gift didn't make it because of my puppy knocking over the pot, unfortunately. So I planted another seed today which is a weed behind just like Peanut Butter Breath.

My best advice regarding the pests would be to get some sticky traps up this way you can capture, identify then eliminate the intruder 👊

I was just using UnPHed water for the spray bottle during week one. I will be PHing my water after week 1.

@SavTheGrower I hate to say but it looks like newberry#1 is unstable genetically. This is fairly common with Autoflowering plants. Personally I toss these because its not guaranteed they recover in a profitable way (space/light) but you are free to grow it out and see what happens 😎
@HighTV, You’re all good man, it’s a photoperiod not a autoflower. I plan on just seeing if she will recover. Kind of sucks, this is supposed to be DJ’s Shorts big drop in 10 years. We will see though, stay tuned my friend.
@MovingOn, yeah unfortunately I won’t be able to do that just how my set up is. I’m thinking of just adding a 2 liter frozen bottle in front of the inlet fan to see if that can drop the temps

Hey there Sav! I highly suggest against using unPHed water unless you are utilizing a living soil with microbes that can break down and naturally adjust the PH for you.
You have a nice selection of strains going on here, which one of these is your favorite?
I see what you mean. The excessive crinkles and pale colour of LA K & D S. I know my ZI had excessive crinkly leaves and upping the cal mag from the recommended 0.5-1ml/L to 1.5-2ml/L solved that problem. Its a long section. can you please repeat the feed these two are on

I’m trying to grow organic, using Roots Organic Dry amendments.
All I have been feeding is molasses and liquid seaweed, up until today
I actually top dressed and have a Terp tea brewing and I’m going to water with that at 2030 tonight.
Because I'm not familiar with that meduim I'd say go strait the roots organics DM them on IG or send the pics to their email. Their input will likely give quick results. They look like a solid outfit.

Edit: irrespective of medium. Have you checked your run off? I see you list pH as 6.8 I understand 6.0-6.8 is considered OK but 6.8 is close to 7. And that is neutral. Maybe consider checking run off it could be a minor nute lockout?
@skidmarx, Yeah, it could also be ph lockout cuz I don’t oh as much cause of the living soil. I just watered with 6.3, so next watering I’ll check run off

Was collecting seeds for a couple months and finally able to grow!!
Yeah I hope we can learn from each other. I actually have an issue in the garden on Deadly Sativa and LA Kush Cake. I think it’s a Micronutrient issue.
I believe around 4-6 weeks in you can see the sex of your plants - even before making the switch to flower. Females will have two little white hairs coming out of the crease between the main stem and lateral branches (sometimes the hairs aren't white, but little hairs nonetheless). Males will have two little balls.
