The Evil Fat Step Sisters (Island Sweet Skunk and Blueberry) demanded more room for their big fat buds so poor *cough Cinderella* Sour Jack got kicked out to a smaller 2’x4’ apartment I had sitting empty anyways. One of the nice things is that I can lower the light down further now as before the leggy Ms. Blueberry forced them up high. The downside is that Sour Jack and Bubba Kush now have to share 240w total between the two, where before they got 240w above each of them (although higher up). Not sure what the reduced light is going to be like on her, but I'm hoping dropping the light down will help make up for it.
F35 now, on an estimated 9 week grow, so we are near/just after the half way point of our flowering cycle for her. Although she isn’t as impressive as the ISS or BB I still really like the way she is coming along. I think she’ll probably produce 4-6 oz and I’m ok with that. The buds are starting to frost in nicely and hopefully continue to swell.
She is a strong peppy girl and doesn’t have any issues, so far so good. I’m quietly optimistic that her buds are going to fill in thic, frosty, and phat.
All hail NomNom. I’m glad to see the end of this journey. The buds look fantastic, nice trim job. I am striving to one day have a yield even close to this. Enjoy.
@NomNom, of my two harvested Sour Jack plants I loved the taste, it was what I was hoping for. I am a big fan of Sour Diesel so that is what I really focused on when vaping. The quality of taste increased as the latter buds cured.
I could do without the pine after-taste which I would attribute to the Jack Herer. I enjoyed the Sour Jack so much I will likely purchase more Crop King Seeds, but I may try just Sour straight Diesel sans Jack Herer.
@@BeanswithPork, Thanks, after the disaster of my last grow having bud rot I'm happy that his came out well. How do you like the taste of your Sour Jack?
Supreme plant, *standing ovation.* I’m jealous in a complimentary way.
I have no way of taking such zoomed pics but I flowered my Crop King Sour Jack for 11 weeks, and would do so again. In my environment the extra two weeks was critical for swell and finishing up - but I didn’t have such a massive, orange plant! All good!
@@@@BeanswithPork, Wow 11 weeks flower! That’s a testament to patience right there.
Thanks for the compliment, our girl turned hard orange early. Looking at her colour I thought I would be pulled her a week earlier but the tricombs said to wait so I did.
Put her into jars yesterday, got the first vapes of her. I’m putting together picture and I’ll be posting the harvest results in the next couple days
@Primitive, I had a those banana looking things on my current grow, there were no hermies, I didn't have a clue what they were till you mentioned it.. thanks... great LST and how you manipulated the branches. :-)
