Started the process 07/07, and they both have a sizeable taproot so in they go. Watered and sprinkled with a little recharge. Now we wait till they peek on out.
The grow dots are in the bottom half because I'm new to organic soil.
Of course I popped these at the same time, but the AB x RKO is just eager to grow. The HBSS is only a little behind, so I am sure it'll catch up. Still giving it water daily in very small amounts.
Week 2 has just seen more growth. Moved up 100ml of water for the cycle, slowing increasing as we go. Hopefully I don't have to train, them, but just enjoying the BAS light mix.
Feeding each different amounts. The ABxRKO gets about 350ml on average, and the HBSS gets about 250ml, but I'm slowly upping the amount hoping to steer the roots towards the edge so I can use the bases.
They get a lot of recharge, like every other water... Seems ok, worked well on my last grow so we run it again.
The ABxRKO is getting big fast at 8.5", where as the HBSS is sitting at 4.5".
Almost ready to flip the lights to 12/12 for the ABxRKO as she is getting big. The tips of the ABxRKO are getting a little green, but I'm just bad at staying in the right ph zone. I've been slightly above at 6.56-6.6. I'm starting to use the self watering bases day to day , and feeding recharge once it runs out.
Specific heights: Hbss is at 10.5"
Ab x Rko is at 14".
Both plants are cathing up in height getting around 20in overall. The auto is in stretch mode, and hopefully the photo starts to flower as I only flipped it yesterday. Still not messing with anything training wise.
I top water with recharge and calmag every time the base runs out of water.
I'd very light defoliation as I'm still leaving these plants untouched for once. Looks like I need to learn how to top dress better as both plants seem hungry. Using the self watering bases seems to hold me back with directly feeding the plants. They are still doing ok as the HBSS is developing well, and the ABxRKO is starting to show their pistils.
AbxRko is at 28"
Hbss is at 25.75"
Hbss is 27in tall
ABxRKO is 38.5in tall
I'm starting to run out of height because of the ABxRKO as it finally flowers. Still slight nute issues with the HBSS, but nothing too tough to handle for now. The smells the HBSS give off are absolutely crazy.
Just letting them grow, and watering every day seems to work. Will upgrade to earth boxes for this tent since a little autonomy is nice
ABxRKO is about 42.5" tall, and has been top dressed with about 3tsp of grow dots to give it a phosphorus boost in flower
HBSS is about 26.5" tall and has been top dressed with about 2tsp grow dots as I believe it is fighting a phosphorus deficiency. She is giving all the smells, a bright red starburst like fruity smell with a stark citrus note.
I'm expecting at least another week on the hubba bubba as it's getting nice and thick, and I haven't noticed any new pistols form in a few days. The ABxRKO is still trucking, and it makes me excited for the next drop that tree1four did. It smells heavy on the burger side, but not super meaty. It has a slightly sweet gassy meaty smell to it.
I didn't happen to weigh this one went as I don't do a whole plant dry. I got real impatient, and it was looking decently cloudy with a little bit of amber as well. Still smells like starburst.
This plant was ready on Sunday, but I didn't have the time nor energy to chop her. Today was the day, and I am excited to see how it is after the dry. Maybe this will allow me to take a break before I get my next lineup selected.
