This week I just kept her on Ph'd water. I also flushed her with 8 litres of ph'd water 3 days ago. I have also been doing some light defoliation and lst to open up the centre as she is really bushy. Buds still forming, seems slow and not very bulky with a fair amount of trichromes starting to show.

How much should you Defoliate an auto flowing strain? and when? Will defoliation cause Stunting in growth or Quality?

Defoliating an Auto-flowering strain is vastly different from a photo period mainly because the plant control when it goes into flowering and stunting it during this process can lead to decreased final product. Ideally if you defoliate then its best done before flowering, because the first 3 weeks of flowering are so important. I recommend tucking the larger fan leaves away and under the younger growth as much as possible to increase light penetration without sacrificing stress to the plant. Defoliation is obviously possible but only recommended right before flowering and after the stretching phase of flower on the leaves you are unable to tuck easily. My general rules is, if I can tuck it then I will and most defoliation is in the form of lollypopping for thicker bud structure. I hope this helps with your question 😎

Thank you all for the info and comments. I have not given any nutrients as of yet, the soil i'm using says it has a 3 month supply in it already. I will be using nutrients from Innovating Plant products their H.O.G 3 part system, as needed.

Think its too early for your leaves to turn yellow ... can it be you got a little nute burn? Do you give it nutes every watering? I have the same problem ... sometimes over enthousiastic ... I try to give mine nutes every other watering now 😉

@zaffieken, I thought it could be nutrient burn or possibly a deficiency. I have been running my nutrients at 1/4 of recommended strength...and only feed every other watering from the start of flower. But she has gotten a lot bigger than I had initially expected. So I'm not sure which way to go.
