The seeds spent 12 hours in lukewarm water , then transferred to paper towels in sandwich bags for 24hrs. Pictures are from 24 hours after placement into rooters under 200w (at source) LED. Rooters were soaked in solution and squeezed to be moist but not wet. [day#1] I'm a bit worried the stalk wont be strong as leaves are appearing without much growth first. I may need to secure them to something to help keep them upright, [day#2] Nice bit of growth but one seems stunted. The runt of the litter. [day#3] Was worried about the stretch so lowered the light to 18 inches [day#4] #1 seems a little droopy. Perhaps over watered. Keeping an eye out for light stress as I've no idea where is optimum yet. Transplanted 4 best to solo cups with coco coir[70%]/perlite[30%] [day#5] #1 still showing signs of over watering, #3 also showing curling. No water for them today and fingers crossed they'll recover ok. [day#6] #1 and #3 seem clawed/over watered still. Exposed the rooter out of the coco to help lose some of the water. Also poked holes in the coco to aerate it. [Day#7] lightly watered the coco in #2 & #4 with calmag only. Rooter spong still had moisture. Watered dwarf. New growth on all seems ok

[Day#8] : Fed all to 10% runoff on coco and a little drop on the rooter to encourage roots to spread. New growth doesnt seem to have the clawing of #1 so hopefully it'll be ok. It still has the most advanced growth of them all. [Day#9] : Fed all to runoff. [Day#10] : Christmas [Day#11] : Fed all to runoff. Dwarf put into solo cup [Day#12] : Fed all to runoff. pH in 6.4. pH out was 5.8. [Day#13] : Fed all to runoff. pH in 6.0. pH out 5.8 (#3 was 5.6) Now have a ppm meter so diluted the current stock of nutrients down to 650 ppm. [Day#14] : Fed all to runoff. pH 6.0 in and 5.8 out. ppm 800. -> Bottom leaves seem to be darker and curling. Transplanting to 3 gallon cloth pots tomorrow -> Lowered the lights to 15inches up from the top of the canopy

[Day#15] Transplanted into 3 gallon fabric pots. -> The grow tent had no space for the littlest guy to continue to harvest so RIP. The roots had barely escaped the rooting pod. -> I'm surprised that #1 didnt have the most voluminous root structure seeing as she is the tallest and most advanced. She was overwatered at one stage so it may be due to that. -> Nervous to see how they adapt to their new homes. Only gave half what they've been drinking lately and spread it around once they were transplanted. -> Some crisping and curling of the lower set of real leaves on a few of them so I may need to worry about a mobile nutrient deficiency/excess. How are they looking for this stage? I'm considering them in actual vegetative stage from here on. Once I'm sure the transplant hasn't shocked them excessively I'll start on lst. I saw a diary where someone used stationary clips to the fabric pots and that seems like it would work for me. Now to track them down somewhere! [Day#16] Just watered 100ml premixed nutrient solution on each. Didnt have much time due to new years festivities. [Day#17] Looking abit dry so gave them 200ml of the solution each. Might need to up it further. I'm afraid to fully saturate the bigger pots as I've no drainage system under them at the moment. [Day#18] Upped the watering to 300ml. Sprayed the leaves and underneath as a few red spider mites seen. Lst training started. [Day#19] Upped the watering to 400ml as they were dry within 24hrs. Using a pyrethrins based spray to kill the red spider mites. Blasted them twice today. No sign of movement under the microscope so far. Added in some piranha @ 2ml a litre aswell to the feeding. I'm hoping it helps spur some root growth in the bigger pots. I'll be running it for the next week or so. [Day#20] Reduced watering to 300ml. [Day#21] Some red spider mites returning. Couple of mature ones visible on leaves, particularly #2. Misting with nutrient solution and physically removing them. No major colonies under leaves but I've read that they multiply quickly. 200ml watering given. Some Nitrogen burn noticed on #4 so only pHd water given. I need to do a proper flush as I havent watered to run off since transplanting into the fabric pots.

[Day#22] Didn't have much time so just fed 200ml nutrient solution and sprayed it on the leaves also to try to discourage the red spider mites. No advancement of nitrogen burn on #4. Need to flush to run off tomorrow on all of them and spray the internals of the tent against spider mites. [Day#23] Gave piranha and cal/mag without nutrients to run off. Run off was 5.8 pH on all. #2 and #3 had PPM of 1200 and #1 and #4 had somewhere around 1000 so I'm going to feed the same mix tomorrow. Waiting until just before lights out to spray with the anti-mite spray again. Can't see too many mature ones and that's all the spray kills so I need neem oil spray to disrupt their life cycle. [Day#24] Didn't give any liquids (apart from to the dwarf). Need to flush again tomorrow. Sprayed for mites and pulled the plug on the lights. Inspected with magnifying glass and all seems clear. Will do two more rounds of spraying with 3 days between each. [Day#25] Watered #1, #2, #3 to run off with cal/mag solution. pH ok but very high PPMs. Left #4 dry to compare progress. All four now topped. [Day#26] Watered all with cal/mag and piranha mix. pH ok but runoff still high. [Day#27] Same as previous day. [Day#28] Gave remaining fluids evenly distributed after coming back from night out.

[Day#29] Flush water until runoff read 900 ppm. I'll be adding half rate nutrients tomorrow and hoping to bring it back up again. I need to water until runoff to prevent the build up occurring again. [Day#29] I noticed my cal/mag solution has a fair bit of N... whoops. Ill need to adjust the 3 part particularly in later flower. Watered at 500ppm and 5.9 pH. Runoff coming at 850 ppm and 6.1 pH. [Day#30] I checked lst was allowing light to fall where necessary and watered to runoff with 800ppm solution. Removed some damaged leaves. [Day#31] Didnt water. Trying to encourage root expansion. [Day#32] Watered with mild nutrient solution to run off. Each plant now seems to using a different level of nutrients as the runoff had vastly different ppms. I'll start a spreadsheet to record these so I can adjust watering as required. [Day#33] Same as yesterday. #4 showing elevated ppms on runoff.

[Day#35] Nutrient burn is under control now that Im feeding 800ppm. They re very bushy. May need to defoliate. Ive broken a couple of tops during training :( But I think I may have saved the one last night with tape. Overall much happier with growth and my fear of over watering has evaporated. [Day#36] Restaked the lst on each. Defoliated #2 alot and the others a little. Bought a second light for flower [Day#37] More defoliation of anything blocking future growth. Watered with 700ppm mix. #4 seems to have a salt buildup.

Ive gotten lazy with the daily records unfortunately. Partially this due to developing a quicker rythem to the waterings. Ive purchased containers to catch the waste water and platforms to raise up the fabric pots from the containers. Extra 400w (200w draw) led light now in position. Flipping to flower photoperiod tonight.

1st week of flowering photoperiod done. No real sign of stretch that I was expecting. I havent lowered the scrog net as I was expecting it theyd reach up to it. Keeping nutrients around 800 ppm. Ive been defoliating little by little. I know buds take a while to form after the switch. I probably should have gone 36 hrs darkness prior to 12/12 to help them out. We ll see... no disaster has struck yet so.

Second week of flowering photoperiod done. Defoliating as necessary to keep prospective bud sites exposed to direct light. The dwarf plant and #3 show the same early budding. Lots of pistils/calaxes forming early. Getting excited about the yield on #3. #1, #2 and #4 all showing roughly the same genetics relating to budding.

I did bring this to harvest but fell off with recording it. Apologies. I found a better calmag with less N so hoping next time yields more and tastes a little better.

So the that's the first grow done and I've learned plenty. I certainly need to drop humidity further during later flowering to help the resin production. The plants and dried flowers smell sweet and fruity. It's a pity I held too high N and didnt flush enough at the end as there's a little chemical taste remaining. Could have been my drying/curing process also.
