3 days from seed in water, into paper towel, into media, and then sprout. First seed I used I followed the same protocol but it never sprouted in the coco. I think that I did not let the root grow long enough before placing in coco. Lesson learned. Patience always pays.
Week #1-July 15 to July 21
7/15-Off to a good start. Grew an inch first day. I'll keep the light on 24 hours this first week.
7/18-Growing nicely so far.
7/21-Great first week
Week #2-July 22 to July 28
7/22-Great first week. I kept the nute load light the first week. Will increase gradually this week.
7/24-stepped up nute load a bit and she's just moving right along
7/28-First 2 weeks have gone really well. Great growth. Next week I'll start with some some LST.
Week #3-July 29 to Aug 4
7/29-Trimmed below node 1. Will wait another day and then top. Increased the nute load.
7/30-Topped between 4th and 5th node
8/1-Topping has had no adverse effects. Started some LST.
8/2-More LST and got rid of some big fan leaves covering new growth.
8/4-First 3 weeks have gone well except I managed to break one of the early main stems so instead of having 4 big branches at the bottom I've got 3.
Week #4-Aug 5 to Aug 11
8/5-Did some additional LST and cleaned up lower branches
8/8-Did some minor defoliating and LST to even up the canopy. Things are looking good. Wish I had the big branch back!
8/11-First 4 weeks went well. Plant is healthy. Canopy is shaping up nicely. Next week I'll start shifting towards flowering phase.
Week #5-Aug 12 to Aug 18
8/12-Transitioning to flowering nutes
8/14-Up to 10 inches now and it looks like she is starting to stretch a bit. Runoffs have all been good.
8/16-Trimmed some leaves to get light under branches
8/18-Pre-flower is in full mode now. She is starting to really stretch now. Up to 12 inches. Watering every 8 hours now.
Week #6-Aug 19 to Aug 25
8/21-Continuing to stretch. Up to almost 14 inches now. Canopy is shaping up nicely now. Plant is looking very healthy. Watering 3 times a day now. Runoffs have been spot on.
8/23-Trimmed away some of the undergrowth.
8/25-Solid week of growth.
Week #7-Aug 26 to Sep 1
8/26-Some minor defoliation. Changed nute schedule for final push. She's definitely starting drinking more water.
8/30-Continuing to stretch up to 18 inches now and very wide canopy. First signs of resin appearing. Looking good.
9/1-Stretch to 20 inches. Buds are really start taking shape. Setup well for last 4-5 weeks.
Week #8-Sep 2 to Sep 8
9/4-Buds are really starting to take shape and stacking. Start to get a bit smellier. This one is shaping up to be a good yielder.
9/8-First signs of pistils turning orange. Lots of bud development this week.
Week #9-Sep 9 to Sep 15
9/11-Lots of bud sites developing. Still mostly white pistils but starting to see some turn orange. Doing my best to separate the branches w light leaf pruning to increase light penetration. I'm feeling good about this one.
9/13-Added Overdrive into the feed mix. The buds are really starting to pop. Starting to add some density. Canopy has maintained a nice wide and level shape. Good light penetration even to the lower buds. I'm hoping this equals a fatter yield in the end. Feels like she's got another 2-3 weeks to go.
Week #10-Sep 16 to Sep 22
9/16-Trichomes are getting cloudy already. Some amber showing as well. Seems to be closing faster now. Hoping to see more density in the buds this week.
9/18-Tracking nicely for harvest in 7-10 days.
9/22-Very close to harvest now. Trichomes are all cloudy and getting amber. Lots of resin. I trimmed the plant in anticipation of harvest in next day or two. Started flushing.
9/23-This might be the fastest plant from sprout to harvest for me but based on trichome color I decided to harvest on Day 71. In spite of losing a very large branch early in the grow the yield was pretty big. I hung the plants with multiple branches so I don't have an accurate/relevant weight now. Once they've dried for seven day in the Cool Cure box I'll separate buds and weigh. Once this baby got going she closed very fast. Can't wait to try it out
Holy nutrients! You gave her every Advanced Nutrients there is. I can tell your grow looks a lot better than most. I guess you get what you pay for. Great grow.
