Week one of the plant actually showing. Looking ok to be fair. Boring week apart from that. Just keeping on top of the PH every couple of days. And have decided to completely change the water once a week. Using Grow A & B from Shogun nutrients. Gone to about 1.5ml per litre. Dropped the water level to just tickle the clay pebbles and encourage the roots to chase the moisture. Decided along with the grow this time and the Wu-Tang inspired name, should drop a Wu-Tang lyric every weekly update. So here we go with what some consider the absolute pinnacle of the Wu. Hey y’all. Second week of veg and all seems to be going well. Loads of photos for you to cast your eyes over. Beautiful symmetrical green leaves and the emergence of those pristine white roots too this week. Haven’t put it on my nutrients (because I don’t really see it as a “nutrient” per se), but also using 1ml per litre of hydrogen peroxide in my water too to keep those roots nice and clean and white (and hopefully rot free, fingers crossed 🤞🏻). Changing my water/nutrient solution once a week. Trying to PH to about 5.8 and let it creep to 6 over the days and if it gets too high, bring it back down with a splash of lemon juice. Hey y’all, hope you have had good grow weeks. This week was going great, just look at those beautiful white roots!!! But then within 24 hours, disaster strikes, root rot!!! So gutted. Immediately topped up on the Liquid Oxygen to see if I could come out the other side. Seems to be getting better and the plant is still flourishing in its leaves and height. So I’ve made the decision to keep going and see how it goes. They do seem to be getting to a better colour again, still clumpy but not snotty like they were. So fingers crossed. As always, keep checking back every Sunday for the weekly updates to see if we do come out the other side. Amazingly this week, we also started to get that weed smell 😂. Carbon filter on its way 😂. Hey everyone. Hope you’ve all had great growing weeks. Pretty solid this week with nothing too much to report. PH held better this week at a steady number, so that made me and the plant happier 😂. As you will see from the photos, she is a beautiful deep green colour. And as you will also see from the photos, she has now started shooting off the parts that will become the bud sites 🙏🏻. So I was wondering about topping her as I have a ScroG net on the way. Decided not to with it being an autoflower and decided to just trim some of the bigger leaves lower down to allow light to get through to the new shoots. Hoping that makes them grow well and when my net arrives and it is time to, get them all at a uniform height on the canopy and get some beautiful fat healthy buds. I think just one more week and it will be time to switch to the blooming nutes 🙏🏻. Have great weeks everybody. Yo, what’s good people. A quiet uneventful week this week (for a change with me 😂). The smell has cranked up a bit and the bud shoots have grown this week more than anything so I think we are about to enter stretch and flower. Hi everyone. Another week down and the plant is healthy, but hasn’t kicked into flower really as yet. Seems to be a slow veg. My roots are quite short and I think my water may have been too low to be hitting those roots properly. So my quest this week is to keep an eye on that water level to make sure those roots are getting to soak up all that goodness. Just today I have noticed the first couple of pistils, so good news there. As I say though, the plant is healthy so I can’t really complain. Hey everyone, hope you’ve all had good weeks as we move into Autumn/Fall already!!! Where has this year gone? A good week this week. Roots are still on the grow and at the tail end of the week, seem to be getting all those bud sites flourishing. Which is great news. Took four more leaves off today so those bud sites get that light. She’s been thirsty this week too. Just for information purposes, I have about 16 litres of water in the pot, I put in 30 mls of liquid oxygen, 30mls of Shogun Hydro Bloom A and 30mls of Hydro Bloom B. This measures at ph5.8, I then add as needed with more of everything as the week goes on and let it level out at approx ph6.5. Thought I would put that in case it helps someone else out down the line or if someone wants to tell me I’m doing it wrong 😂. Anyway, until next week people. Have good ones. Hey y’all, hope you’re all good. A quiet week as we trundle along in flower now. Still slow, but let’s keep going. That Fall weather really kicked in and I felt my tent and the water was way too cold (somehow I have lost my temperature and humidity meter 🤷🏻‍♂️😂) so I put my little heater in there. Had it too hot and got some heat spots on some leaves, you can see that on a photo on this week. Took the affected leaves off though and turned the heater down, so all good now. Hey everyone. Back for another week. A week where the rain just didn’t seem to end. Hope you all managed to stay dry and safe. And may God bless those affected by the weather in America. Steady as she goes again this week. Had a panic midweek when my top leaves really started sagging. Thought it may be light stress as we are really close to the light at the top of the plant. So popped a question on here and a couple of people answered saying to give my plant more space to the light and supercrop it by taking the main cola off. Well to hear that broke my heart and I wasn’t prepared to do it. Glad I didn’t as the next day, the plant was looking healthy and leaves were all back to normal. I do thank the two people for their advice though. But my advice to anyone would be to not rush in to making massive alterations like that. As you can see, the main cola is starting to get fatter, I’m hoping it gets a kick on now. Anyway, until next week everyone. Hey y’all. Hope you’ve all had good weeks. Well, as Doctor Strange once said “We’re in the end game now.” She has really pushed on this week. Orange pistils abound and the top buds are so chunky and solid. Checked the trichs today and are still glassy. I think another week and I will partial harvest. Gonna take the top buds off and leave the bottom ones to get more light for a couple of weeks I think. Gave her a really good trim today too to make sure we have good airflow round the buds and light is getting to all the right places. Well, have good weeks all. So that is that. Had to chop a bit early due to going on holiday and the fact that mildew was coming on. Plant should never have taken this long though so 🤷🏻‍♂️.
