Tangerine dream grow journal by BigDaddyK

Nice high , big thick buds , slightly orange smelling but dark , very functional

People rate this strain where I'm from to the extent they were calling anything that wasn't cheese 'tangie' or 'tangerine dream'. So I've probably never had the real thing... I'll follow for curiousity as we already know it's going to be good from you.

I’m running thru some of your grows, cause I’m getting ready to go back to DWC and will be growing some of the same strains. I noticed you have your pH as 6.5. When I used to grow DWC I kept it closer to 5.8 because I was always told hydro was to be lower than soil. Do you have better luck at a pH being close to that a soil grow?

@HemiSync,I try to keep at 6.2 - 6.3 then it gives me more room for error and concentration issues , having said that , since I started using Shogun nutrients I can keep it closer to 6 as the nutrients are more ph stable , the problem comes if the ph drops from 5.8 to 4.8 overnight , which can happen .

@BigDaddyK, Thanks for the explanation, it helps. I’m hoping, from my initial bubbles tests, that MegaCrop will be be a stable nutrient and I won’t be chasing pH all the time. Just dropped some Chocolate Thai x Power Africa regular beans yesterday. If they make it into a netpot I’ll start a journal here. 🙏

Crop looks great, how'd she end up tasting? Does the smell match the taste? Sounds creamy on the exhale. Love the dark waxy contrast on the leaves. Beautiful grow. 🌱👍

@biggreens420,added 2 more pics , had a smoke today , it kind of tastes citrus 🍊 but it has a dark edge , woody earthy maybe , lovely and uplifting , quite motivating for me , very strong I can imagine people tripping out on a few joints .
