Drtomb I missed pictures of the first flowering week. I kind of decided to show you my Granddaddy Purple grow last minute. I have a total of 6 lights with 6 different strains, so it get time consuming to track them all for you guys.
This is one 4x4 section full of Granddaddy Purple. When I flipped these a week ago they were approx 25". They have already grown about 10".

Drtomb Starting week 4 of Flower. I expect things to slow on the upwards growth as the plant shifts focus onto the bud development. Ran out of potassium silicate. Will be continuing with out it for the rest of the grow. Ran out of potassium silicate. Will be continuing with out it for the rest of the grow.
Started to notice a slight smell when leaving the door open and returning after a few minutes. This started in the last couple days

Drtomb Start of Week 5
I have two sections of plants growing from the same feeding resivour. For the first time ever I've decided to do a mid grow flush.
I ran through 1-2gal of water on each 5 gal bucket. I use only perlite as medium so I figured that I wouldn't need much to flush. It all drained back to the main resivour and I disposed of it. I ran a 24hr cycle of straight PHed tallboy filtered tap water (160ppm) and then drained that again (340ppm).
I refilled the resivour with fresh nutes and PHed again (1100ppm)

Drtomb I did a res change on Tuesday. These girls are just sucking back nutes. Started my res at 1020ppm on Friday by Tuesday im down to ~500ppm.
The Granddaddy Purple girls are getting very crystallized. Hoping over the next 3 weeks that they really start to fatten up. The less leafy variation also has less thc crystals.

Drtomb Well it's that time again, flushing begins. I'm about 2 weeks away from finishing off the screen. I've gone around to each pot and watered from the tops with tallboy filtered water (160pp). I've changed the res over to PH'ed water with a touch of Laguna Bio Sludge Control. This should allow the plants to soak up any remaining nutrients in the leaves, and if there's any dead roots the biosludge will break it down and feed it as more nutrients for the final finishing.

Drtomb One last week of PH'ed water and pond treatment bacteria. Give or take a few days by trichome check.
Drtomb Was hoping for a bit more production from these granddaddy purples. Using my normal 20% dry weight, it looks like I'll be ending up with around 1.62p dry. I had two versions of the plant. One was very leafy, with leaves that pointed to the air the whole grow. It was covered in crystals and had a sweet stank to it.
The other was a much less leafy plant with a sweeter smell less stank. It also resulted in less bud weight.
Here's the breakdown. Total wet weight was 3680g.
Pot 1:951
Pot 2: 855
Pot 3: 708
Pot 4: 640 (the sweeter smelling plant)
Pot 5: 520
Ill update with dry weight once the 2 week cure is done.
You don’t post the wet weight. You never do. You lose about 80% of that. I don’t know why you new cats do that? Interesting how you never did post the dry weight 🤔??? Should be around 700g/5. 140 a plant is respectable.
@RandomDude, oh wow.. Totally missed putting the weight on this bad boy. Sorry about that. I always weigh wet and then I know about where I need to be. You are correct. I expect to have 20% of the wet. And its always around thst or maybe 1-2% more
Going forward, I'll try to be more on the ball with weights... Often forget as I start new journals every Month.
My last crop of Gorilla Zkittlez is almost done its cure, so I'll update the weight today when I weigh it in.
@LongJohn420, I'll be doing an official smoke report in a few days when the cure gets to 62%. Ill also be testing the thc levels shortly after as well.
Hey Drtomb grow is looking good I have ran that strain from blimburn as well was good but not what I remember the gdp to be . Deff was great plants though and easy to grow .
@Icewater421,looks like it's starting to stack up. Interested to see how it goes. One seed has lots of fan leaves that stick in the air and the other one has much fewer leaves.
I was hoping to get 2 clones of the one seed and 3 clones of the other, but unfortunately in the cloning stage I didn't get a few good clones of the one type. I have 5 plants, and only one of them is the less leaf pheno.
