The ladies have doubled in size, and are now in their final pots.Yesterday i topped the Gorilla Melon, the other two don't at first because they naturally act as if they were topped what i really Like so far.
All three beautys has grown up to very nice and healthy looking plants.I topped them all once and did a bit of defauliation to get them ready for set in flower in a few days.
The three are now on 12/12 since 3 days and begin to stretch now. I‘m very exited to see how big they will be going in the next 10 days of so. So far everthing looking fine and very healthy on the plants.
Hey friends, little plant update. All three doing very well and the smell from this plants already coming in very nice. The Rainbow Melon (in the front of the tent) was stretching a bit higher than the papaya sherbert (left back corner) and the Gorilla Melon (right back corner) so i installed a scrog net and maintained the canopy between them.
We begin the third week of flowering with a look at those many growing buds all over the canopy of these FastBuds photo fems. The plants themselves exploded in size to the sides and top of the tent, filling it completely!
The genetics coming in hot right now, the Rainbow Melon and Papaya Sherbert already showing some signs of getting purple and the Gorilla Melon seems to getting some faaat headbuds! It‘s incredible how much terpenes these planst have produced for being just 4 weeks in flower, the inside of the tent smells soo sweet, like a honeymelon mostly!
When you open the tent now, there are all Kinds of terps and colors that coming towards you. Just absolutely beautyful!
1.Rainbow Melon
2.Papaya Sherbert
3.Gorilla Melon
All three strains doing really well all the time. Now er are in week 7 of flower and you can guess how the buds will looks when finished. All over good trichome and fruity terpene production!
Week 9 in flower and i finally harvested the Rainbow Melon and hung her in the drying room. The Gorilla Melon and the Papaya Sherbert showing also really nice colors but have to stay under the lights for another 3 or 4 days to finish up!💚
What an awesome colorfull plant. Her buds smells like some grape candy of something like that. Very tasty! She‘s a good smoker but also a very good hash maker.
Hey nice choice of flavour to run!! I just got my 420 new drop I'm starting next 2 weeks. What size tent you using ? I'm looking to stick with 3 in a 1.2m x 80cm.
But looking at your veg time I may try this and go for 4 plants. What do you usually yield off a 4 week veg plant?
Happy growing 🙌💚
@pifflestikkz, Yep, biobizz worm humus works well, I've used it a few times and wasn't disappointed. Dynamyco also works well, I'm currently using the Great White Mycorrhizae but I've hardly seen any noticeable differences between the different manufacturers.
Sounds exciting, so you can optimally test what you like best, coco or soil!
@green_impression, I've looked into getting the biobizz worm hummus but what are the spores? This is new to me... I usually use dynamyco in a premix for seedlings or transplanting it has beneficial mycorrhizal so is this the same or can you recommend something's? I'd be looking to switch after for Xmas, I want to do a organic and Coco run but not sure what one first
@pifflestikkz, sounds good man! I also started with mixed earth and coco and then gradually switched to just coco and perlite. A little tip is to mix in some worm humus (approx. 10%) and a few mycorrhizal spores That really helps to development an even stronger root system!💚
@Green_claws, thanks man!
You said it, the stretch of the gorilla melon was insane🤣the light increased to the tent ceiling, the wattage was turned up and the growth was barely stopped😁
