RQS #3 diary - Hydroponics feminized mix

Hi! This is my third diary. I enjoyed growing in coco during #2 diary, but now i have no time to water the plats every day or once every two days, so i opted for automation. This sistem has 4 pots (11 l) and a 50+ l water/nutrients reservoir. The pump is plugged with a timer, which runs it 30 minutes every 2 hours. Twice a week i check the water level, ph and tds of the solution, which is kept above 22°C by a water heater. Since outside temperature can fall below zero, air extractor doens't work 24/7 or the temp inside the tent would be very low, so it runs only few minutes every hour... despite this is not so good for plants. This is my first time i try with ScrOG combined with Hydroponics, hope plants will grow healty! Enjoy

Week 2, started with nutrients. I add Cellmax ph- and ph+ to adjust ph of the nutrient solution. I'm trying to keep ph the most close to 5.8... by the way for tds regulation i'm still a nobbie, i'm trying with 400+ ppm and for next week 600. I still not have de-humidifier, i think i'll buy one for the next growth

Week 3 - One seed died :'( No problem, i have one spare seed. I planted it with 8-10 days after the others, so the plant (in the top left) is smaller than the others. Topped white widow at the third set of leaves. Waiting to top the other plants!

Week 4 for these ladies... they are growing faster thant other plants in my last cycle :D After 3 weeks i can tell that i really like hydroponics, finally i don't have to prepare water, check ph and tds and water the plants every day I topped the plants at the fourth set of leaves... LTS next week!

Week 5: plants become to smell. Started LTS and increased amount of nutrients in the solutio

Added some string to the net for scrog and increased ppm. I'm trying to keep ph as close as possible to 5.8

Plants are healty, despite humidity is very high due to weather conditions (yes i need a humidifier, i will buy a new one soon). I keep on toping them to create more buds sites Next week it's probably time for switching the light for flowering, doubling the power (from 400W to 800W). I will also change the height of lights, they seem too close to the plants During the last day of week 7 i will change the water, using now fertilizers for the flowering stage. Day 49: Last day of vegetative stage. I finally chose to defoliate them. Changed light schedule and water, from now i will add only flowering nutrients

Week 8, first week in the flowering stage. I bought a dehumidifier to keep humidity under 50% Started bending colas under the scrog net. Now light are running in full power (400W each), 800W total for 12 hours/day. I also bought a minifan which i will use to give to the plant a little breeze Plants are very healty even after defoliation, i know that this scrog net sucks but for this time that's what i have. I'm trying to bend every cola and move it away from the others, to properly fill the tent I'm not sure and not skilled enough to cut lower and smaller branches, i'm afraid to damage the plant... I think that at the end of the growth i will have a lot of popcorn buds waiting for me :O

Week 9 - the weather outside is very cold and rainy, humidity is at its highest level. Buds are finally forming. I installed also a mini fan, it should be helpful for buds fattening. This is my first time with a lot of things: first time i use a hydroponic system, first time i scrog and first time with feminized seeds. I've yet realized that i did some mistakes: plants are too big, the tent is too small: next time i will swich into flowering stage at least 2 week before... Also made different mistakes for the scrog, i did not bend enough the stems. Plants developed vertically, i'm not a ScrOG expert but that's not OK!

Week 10 - Weather outside is still rainy, umidity is very high in the tent, even if i installed a de-humidifier... Plants are still stretching. I'm removing biggest leafes on top, so that the lower buds take the light. Overall, each plant is healty and have no sign of overfeeding.
