Even though it might take a bit of yield from me, I topped the little one and am now trying my luck to keep it quite small and, above all, at one height... If a lamp should come into play, it makes the whole thing a bit more effective this way...

She received guano from the company Compo a week ago.
Two days ago, I added SF nematodes - just to be safe, even though there aren't many fungus gnats around.
One side of the lady has become stronger than the other. I injured the weaker side a bit while tying it down...
I'm also continuing with the lollipopping until the 3rd week of flowering, that's the plan. After that, she'll only be tied down horizontally and I'll make sure there's enough ventilation.
After my last Guava Auto was damaged by insects at night, I thought about using the mini greenhouse roof as protection...
Still, I feel like the Pound Cake doesn't have the growth power I expected from her. Maybe there will be another stretch - I'm curious, otherwise there will be hardly any yield. The flowering is starting to pick up slowly now...

I removed one shoot a week ago because one side simply gets less "juice" due to the initial injury, and the shoots hardly wanted to grow. The stretch has also been quite modest, so I think it will yield around 10 to 15 grams. I was actually hoping for a final height of at least 30 to 40 cm. If it continues like this, unfortunately, not much more will happen. On the bright side, the buds are slowly starting to form. That's why I added a bit of mineral fertilizer to make sure we don't risk any deficiencies…

Schwabenknospe Luckily, she decided to grow a bit taller this week. So in the end, this little project is worth it after all. Not to stock up for winter, but to thoroughly test Poundcake. 😁
I'm curious to see what happens next - now the buds need to swell and the weather has to cooperate...

Schwabenknospe Mrs. Poundcake was alone again for 4 days - with Blumat watering.
She has been in partial shade for 4 days now, as she could stand there protected from the weather. I think she needs another 10 or 14 days of sun. The buds are still a bit too airy. Something needs to happen... It only works with enough sun.
Hopefully, the weather will be nice and dry in the coming days. The forecast looks good for Southern Germany - let's see what else comes from the project... 😁
In the future, I won't top autos so early, if at all. Only the really vigorous ones, and then about 2 weeks later.
Planting a bit off-center in the pot and then tying it down at an angle is better, I would claim. Still, I quite like the project so far. The plant is small and nice to handle, which has its advantages.

According to the information, today marks the start of the last week of the 70-day cycle. I think it needs about 1 week longer. I previously had the Ztrawberries Auto, and that one also took 77 days - I think this will be about the same here. The Poundcake has grown weaker than the Ztrawberries. Guava Auto was really quick, finished in 9 weeks. I prefer it to take a few days longer and then give more yield in the end.
You can hardly smell the Poundcake so far. The weather is still playing along, so let's see what comes out of it in the end…

Schwabenknospe This week there was a lot of sunshine. The buds could still become a bit more compact, but they are slowly starting to smell a little more.
The plant was flushed yesterday with 5 liters of rainwater and then with 5 liters of water reduced to pH 6.
Once the sun has dried out the pot, I will do some serious defoliation. After that, it should sit for a few more days and put its last energy into the buds. Then, depending on humidity, 2 days of darkness or not. Depending on the weather situation…
I think the harvest will be next week. Time to get the microscope out… checking the trichomes in the coming days….

Schwabenknospe She stood in the sun for another 5 days after flushing.
Then the pot was pretty dry, and I removed pretty much all the leaves.
She's been in the dark for the 3rd day now, and we're going to cut her tonight and dry her upside down in one piece.
Once she's dry and I test some of it in 10 or 14 days, I can provide a final report.
The buds could be a bit denser, but I would say it's still OK like this.
Outdoors, I'm still all for the Ztrawberries Auto - it was beautiful and yielded about double.

Also ich würde nicht sagen das es ein Reinfall war aber auch nicht, dass es die Outdoor Sorte ist. Dazu hätte sie stärker wachsen müssen.
Ich hatte 12g Trockenernte davon 2 Gramm wegen Schimmel im Kompost entsorgt. Denke das sich eine Trauermück oder sowas in der Knospe befand, die dann Schimmel ausgelöst hat.
Habe sie 5 Tage auf dem Dachboden getrocknet was etwas schnell war.
Der Geruch ist super fruchtig. Wirklich very nice. Etwas fluffig sind die Knospen jedoch geworden. Am 78. Tag wurde sie abgeschnitten.
Nach 1 Woche Trocknung ist das Ergebnis beim Vaporisieren zwar noch nicht ganz Rund aber auf einem guten Weg.
Der Rausch war nicht besonders stark und recht klar und aktiv. Ich dampfe zwischenndurch meistens das Indoor Gorilla Punch und bin deshalb nicht soo geballert von dem Outdoor Zeugs.
Muss das Ganze noch bissl fermentieren und dann ausgiebiger testen… 12g für eine Pflanze ist halt doch etwas mager…

Schwabenknospe So I wouldn't say it was a total failure, but I also wouldn't call it an outdoor strain. It needed to grow stronger for that.
I had 12g of dry harvest, but I had to dispose of 2 grams due to mold in the compost. I think there was a fungus gnat or something in the bud that triggered the mold. I dried it for 5 days in the attic, which was a bit quick. The smell is super fruity. Really very nice. However, the buds turned out a bit fluffy. It was cut on day 78. After 1 week of drying, the result when vaporizing is still not quite rounded but on a good path. The high wasn't particularly strong and was quite clear and active. I usually vape the indoor Gorilla Punch in between, so I'm not too blasted from the outdoor stuff. I still need to let it ferment a bit more and then test it more thoroughly… 12g for one plant is still a bit meager…
