Simple Beginnings...
Moisten Paper towell with sprayer using store bought filtered water packed into a jewel case and under heat pad set to 75°F with a +/- 2° tolerance.
Using AC Infinity's Controller 75 to regulate temperature & a cheap heat pad purchased from Amazon.
Week 1
A quick dive into the starter setup...
-Clear 1" starting tray cut up and made into inserts for easy removal of seedlings 🌱
-Tray filled 1/8" above black liner with ph'd distilled water to keep exposed roots from air pruning
-Keeping ph @ 6.0
-VPD ~ 0.70
-Straight FFOF as starting medium
-S33 Lighting set at 5/10 in a 2x2x4 tent

Pot-
Trialing out AC Infinity's Biodegradable Grow Bags. I bought all 3 sizes. @ less than 20 cents each for simple shock free transplanting... Yuuuup!
Soil Mix-
Fox Farms Ocean Forest : WiggleWorm : Perlite (Base) @ 4:1:2 w/ Xtreme Mykos (2 1/2tsp mixed in substrate 1/2tsp direct on roots/hole), Bat Guano & Crushed Oyster Shells.
This mix is formulated to promote healthy vegetative growth by creating a micro and macro symbiotic environment that produces strong 💪 healthy roots. Everything great is built from the ground up!
Oyster shells have proven to not only add nutritional value but to help the soil stay at optimal moisture levels, which means less time watering, while promoting optimal drainage (much like vermiculite but has a totally different texture) and keeping the fungus gnats at bay! Simple miracles ✨️ such as these are 💎 in themselves!
🥛Water-
Simple Distilled water made using my Vevor Distiller. I've balanced the ph +0.2 so we're now @ 6.2ph according to the smiley face 🙂 on AC Infinity's PH meter.
Even though this is my first go in a contest diary, I'm gonna have fun with it... just here to show off my skills a bit and learn from the best!

8/12/24:
Graduation to 1 gallon grow bag.
Same mix as last time with granular humic acids, bio-fish, crab meal & insect frass tossed into the mix. Sprinkled some Dutch White Clover seeds across the top soil & top dressed with Bat Guano.
