Whoo-hoo! Please note the numbers(553 g wet) are from the first harvest and the bottom layer still grows, so there’ll be 100–150 g more to add next week or so. Hope the first harvest has dried until then, because my drying chamber is completely filled now. This is an incredible strain, and a lot of thanks to @divineseeds for sending me their seeds for free. Even if the diary might not be a winner, I surely am one with the result so far. I found them extremely easy to grow, and while their height stayed a bit below the breeder’s numbers (I am glad they did), Divine Seeds absolutely do not lie when they say Opium delivers a load of buds. The ones from lady #1 are more fluffy as already stated, but they still look brilliant. Lady #2 supersedes everything I’ve seen so far. I love the density of her buds, and the colors are still amazing even when hung up for drying. The one mold I found did not come back, and as I said I can only attribute that to 95% outside humidity which drove the tent’s atmosphere into similar (though still lower) levels. So a great beginner strain, but from the looks and smell I am sure it’s not only rewarding for beginners. Day 92: Harvested #1 fully for a total of 654 g wet now. Buds are almost black now, and lady #2 gets a full light day to stress her for the final cut too. The rest fell on day 99.

Reviews. Nutrient
It’s hard to tell which component made what. As written I tested HPE instead of the usual grow fertilizer, and I am pretty sure you could run a full grow only with that fertilizer. They are still very much alive and kicking, waiting for final harvest, and I am very pleased how pleasing they developed. Even if I stressed #1 a bit too much for perfect results.
Brings safety for RO users.
Reviews. Lamp
I wish they would have an API, but besides from that plants really love them.
Reviews. Tent
Good tent. Don’t know how long the reflective side will last, but surely quite some more grows.

It was quite dry, so it wasn’t exactly a week after drying start that I trimmed and collected what is left of lady 1: About exactly 60g. Don’t worry about the 66% on the picture. Just had opened the jar to enjoy their scent. Talking about compact buds: We all prefer them, right? So do I. Sadly, the humidity raise during the first drying days wasn’t a good thing for #2’s buds. I found some more mold in 2 colas, and so the current total harvest is about 95 g – I think I had to dispose about 8 g. Meanwhile, second harvest is getting close. Lady #1 looks pretty done already. Her sister produces amazing colors but does not want to die yet. She even produces a tiny new leaf, see week 13. (See above: Lady 1 has been harvested on day 92.) Which in the end produced another 18 g of fluffy, but even better looking stuff: The stress lighting period they were spending their last days has shown its rewards. Much darker colors and way more resin. It wasn’t so easy to trim ;) Meanwhile, I waited one day too long (day 99, I guess) and lady #2’s remaining buds starting to get fluffy too when they died too long under the stress lights. But it looks and smells amazing and will be definitely top tier for my humble demands. The total dried results will be around 130 g, I guess. Not too impressive, but really ok considering my lights are rather on the lower edge. Checking the roots after harvest revealed some problems with water drainage for lady #1. The lower soil was still very moist, although the bottom of the pots were filled with stones providing good drainage. Which is why her roots did only occupy about 1/4 of the pot and most of the soil looks very untouched and clean. That was probably causing her fox tailing more than the proximity of the light. Lady #2’s roots are amazing. I had to work for a long time to remove the soil which came out as one block initially. The color difference in their stems is probably because she was under contimous light for several days in the end. Both ladies’ main roots, anyway, were only a few cm long until they branched. Guess I should give them more wind with the oscillating blower in their early stages in the future (yes, the headline lied: As you might have read in the comments a neighbour who got reinfected with growing urge raised another lady for me. And, admittedly, I still have some seeds that would be sad to lose.) I’ll update lady #2’s dried result from 2nd harvest next week. But so far: Case closed. Really a recommended strain for beginners, but keep an eye on (soil and air) humidity. Last addition: 23 more and really sticky and aromatic grams from lady #2. So a total of 136 g dried. Not bad, not overwhelming, but with mostly just 100 W really quite ok.

I'm right there with ya, a few more weeks. I usually chop day 77-85. Autos usually require 50-60 days of flowering and then you add the veg time (21-35 days usually)

@Dabking, thank you! Yes, I see, we’re equal up to the height. :D Just saw some buds sparkle like being wet – this looks very much like a great harvest. Yours too. I can’t insist on experience, but from my limited knowledge I agree breeder’s times, although mostly declared as seed-to-harvest, should rather be read as blooming time. Which is quite ok for me. Really would like to see them in full colors before being cut.

Pi + sensors + custom exhaust fans?! Holy shit, that sounds awesome dude. I'm not sure why this will be your last grow but with that kind of engineering it is a shame to lose you. Good luck yo.

@Waveform, I mean, you don't want to be a bad neighbor. You pretty much have to stick it out for that Mimosa Cookies or it'd be rude. 😏 And if there is another plant on the way, probably a good idea to get a few more seeds. I mean, the tent is up anyways, right? Ha. About a decade ago I was homebrewing in my garage and had a similar situation with a neighbor. Once you see the magic, you get the itch. Abracadabra, yo.

@NastyNatesJungle, Maybe I’ll continue, but with lower priority. I must confess I infected a neighbour who used to grow aeons ago. In fact he escalated quite quickly, from "let me just have one plant on the shelf and watch her grow by sunlight" to a 1 x 1 x 2 m tent with double the lighting I got in about 2 weeks, and for my support he is pre-growing a Mimosa Cookies for me, so I guess the title lies. Thanks a lot in any case!
