hps 250w
black box silver 60x90x180
extractor 220 m3/h during daycycle
vertical fan 24/24 h
"all-mix" & 1 glass of "light-mix" around the seedling
Nutrients: Fish-mix(veg) & Bio-Grow(flo) / Bio-Bloom / Top-Max
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 3/4 day
Switching from fish-mix to bio-grow.
Update:
- trimmed a lot of lower and smaller branchs
- experimenting with lite defoliation, removed one leaf on each plant to help with light penetration for middle and slighty lower stage
Simply removing one big leaf top middle of each plant make much more buds location exposed to direct light. Gonna see later in flowering if it noticeably impact how thoose buds develop
Watering volume per plant: 1 l every 2/3 days
Trimmed some lower branchs.
They are finishing their stretch quietly.
5 plants are between 95cm and 100cm
2 plants are more like 110-115cm
wich is nearly perfect final heights for my box, giving 3 week of veg was the ideal choice for my set up, kinda happy with that it's always a bit tricky when growing a strain in sog from seeds for the first time without topping to estimate how long veg they gonna need with sog.
(definitely easier to manage height from clones with sog)
Plus i doesn't mind at all having slighty taller pheno on the side, it's even better, regarding light dispersion and lamp hot spot.
One plant has a very few males preflower along two of it's secondary stem bottom, removed them gently.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2/3 days
Trimmed a few more lower branch & lower buds locations.
4 smallest pheno are already very rich in trichromes
the 5th is more light green and poor in trichromes
the 2 tallest pheno are rich in trichromes.
Can't wait to see those ladies in 4,5 weeks, both tall and small phenos look very promising.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2/3 days
4 smallest pheno are super frosty
2 tallest pheno are frosty
last pheno is poor in trichromes in comparison
It start to smell noticeably when opening the tent.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2/2,5 days
Last week with nutrients for the 4 smallest and frostiest phenos then here we go for two week flushing.
Gonna give 1 more week with nutrients to the 2 tallest pheno and 1 or 2 more week for the last pheno
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 / 2,5 day
Finally changed my mind and decided they could only benefit from one more week flowering.
4 Smallest pheno were flushed once with top-max 2ml/l on week start then feed again with nutrients.
All in all and aside size 6 pheno are pretty homogeneous and the last one clearly show sign of smaller sativa trichrome and flowers
Will start/restart flushing for all plants next weeks.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2/2,5 days
Flushing with top-max this week and full PHed water next week.
Prolly gonna start to harvest 2 plants mid next week.
Watering volume per plant: 1l every 2 days
Flushing with PHed water this week.
From Nirvana shop this strain said to be 7-9 weeks, i would say it's more 9-11 weeks.
Trying DIY CO² for the last week from Zamnesia recipe.
http://www.zamnesia.com/blog-how-to-make-a-diy-co2-generator-for-the-grow-room-n496
Doing it for fun mostly, brewing smell isn't too strong and melt with cannabis smell, slighty hiding it.
Considering also that whatever extra ppm it bring even if a very little could only benefit.
Component are extra cheap so there is no real reason not doing it.
So gonna use this for each grow once plant finished their stretch.
( like 5-7 last weeks of flowering or so )
Very pleased with this grow. Nice amount of trim material.
4 short, super frosty pheno ( #1, 2 , 3, 4 )
2 tall super frosty pheno ( #5, 6)
1 medium sativish pheno ( #7 smaller trichromes, & flowers )
Cya in 2-3 weeks for the Harvest report 😉
Form Nirvana shop this lady is said to be 7-9 weeks of flowering, first i would say she's more 9-11 week in my humble opinion.
( I harvested at 10 weeks of flowerings )
- 2 pheno were pretty short ( 95 cm ) with slighty less buds location but super dense flower and frosty and 1 pheno bottom canopy has a few purples buds.
- 2 pheno were medium (100-105 cm) with medium amount of bud location, medium dense flowers and super frosty
- 2 pheno were tall ( 115 cm) with more buds location and medium dense flower and highly frosty
- 1 and last pheno was medium tall ( 110 cm) and sativish, lot of buds location, small flowers, on sight smaller trichrome wich is a sativa trait according to bubblehash filtering bags and making.
The smoke is smooth while in mouth, main tone are:
Flowery, Pine (some pheno are flowery dominant, some other are Pine dominant) and Citrus(rarely spicy)
She need at least 3 weeks curing for all the tones to clearly show.
This make northern light a really nice and classic smoke for reference.
The high is kinda heady, and make you feel a bit away from what's happen around.
Kinda like feeling a little bit "lost in space".
A nice late afternoon & evening strain.
About the sativa pheno, smoked a whole day, i had to make a course in the nieghboorhood, and it was kinda "walk and furious" lol, so well heady and lost in space as well
walking like crazy ^^ the taste of the sativa pheno, is much more neutral than others pheno.
Purple buds taste are much more flowery-herb-citrus than others.
On a side note she's easy to pre-grind by hand with a single move to remove stems within the buds.
"Charras" were 3/4 mint but much more menthol aroma and 1/4 more classic hashich like aroma (could make 3 sticks out of it)
"Bubblehash" is extremly fresh in mouth, it's taste has nothing to do with classic hash i have been smoking my whole youth from black market.
It's main tones are a mix of pine and mint and really lot of freshness in the mouth.
"Bubblehash" is highly heady and sleepy, really making you feel away from everything that's happening around you, kinda remind me a little when i took edible in Amsterdam years back.
All in all, beautiful growth, dank smell in the tent room last 2 weeks of flowering, they reached a perfect height for my set up with 3 weeks of veg, excellent yielder in comparison to some other strain i have grown so far and even 8 months later & nice amount of frosty trim material to work with for hash or else.
Smaller buds: 7 day drying
Main colas: 8-9 days drying
Curing: 15days
( currently 7 days and on going, will update if needed)
This is my first time with bubblehash, and very happy with the result, got some quality smoke and more than i expected.
I did a total of 5 pass:
- 3 first pass with all the bag 220µ - 190µ - 150µ - 70µ - 45µ - 25µ
- 2 last pass with 220µ - 150µ - 25µ bags only
All in all, beautiful growth, dank smell in the tent room last 2 weeks of flowering, they reached a perfect height for my set up with 3 weeks of veg, good yielder in comparison to some other strain i have grown so far & nice amount of frosty trim material to work with for hash or else.
@CRiSPrGrow, tahnks, kinda happy, don't worry too much with the ice-o-lator bags, they work well.
tips: get the 25µ bag if not included in your set (you can buy them alone here and there) and do 25µ-150µ hash without more sorting work well, and 25µ bag is also easier to recover hash once filtered than 45µ & 70µ bags
How has that washing machine held up?
Would you say it's worth it to make bubble hash or just steep sugar leaves in MCT oil (or high proof alcohol, Everclear). I know the end result will be different usable products but a way to use the sugar leaves none the less. Or is there another method you use/like...
@HerbalEdu, thanks for the update. Yeah I prefer flower too. I have used MCT, butter & sweet cream to make cannabis concentrates with my sugar leaves. I can take them as tinctures or use them in foods or drinks.
@cheetah844, The camping washing machine is perfect for making hash. Yes it worth it even if i no longer make some because in fact i don't really like hash taste and much prefer weed, plus sorting bags are annoying to clean and get obstructed after 3-5 harvest, so now i just trash the trim, may be some day i'll make some canna butter, coconut cannabis oil or cannabis milk, still i m a bit lazy i have to admit 😅
@GreasyLuigi, no scale to measure it 😅.
+ i m not really interested with the weight in itself as long as i have enough to smoke between each harvest ; ) so won't invest ^^
@@@@@@SeedLover, main advantage of SOG is the gram/day veg+flo/m² and while with my 250 w you can feel light dispersion a little from top to cola bottom (some small but noticeable coloration and taste difference) that become less true when you start reach 400w + with a hid
yup some "charras", usually 1 to 3 spliff and for the first time "bubblehash" with trim material and may be one plant out of 7, just invested in a nice set for cheap, washing machine + 6 filtering bag 😉
@HerbalEdu, honestly with that little lamp you did very very well! I want to try the SOG technique too, very interesting! I see, well I thought the same when I saw the pictures. The leaves are fading well and should be perfect next week :) .. hmm some cisor hash coming in soon haha!
@@ShotGunBob, what i m doing usually, is checking manually all grower i'm suscribed once or twice or week, but it's a bit weird it doesn't show update like when you follow a diary or a strain
nice job mate..real OG grow :) (with NL ofc) LOL
i just discovered a nanner on my bakers delight and i also removed the balls and will inspect closely for a week or two to see if it manifests even more or not.
i see you dont use bioheaven..do you add molasses in that case?
@@flowerboy, same spotted a few males flower on one plant yesterday, keep an eye on your side as your earlier in flowering.
not using bio-heaven yet but thinking about it, might gave it a try soon
