Week 1: Germination and Initial Setup
Dates: [Insert Dates]
Details:
Seeds: Cereal Milk (feminized)
Germination Method: Water glass method
Setup:
Medium: Lightly pre-fertilized soil
Containers: 200 ml paper cups
Lighting: 18 hours light / 6 hours dark (LED grow lights)
Temperature: 28°C (82°F) max
Humidity: 80%
Progress:
Seeds were placed in a glass of water until they cracked open and small roots began to emerge. After successful germination, the seeds were transferred into 200 ml paper cups filled with lightly pre-fertilized soil. The cups were then placed under LED grow lights with an 18/6 light cycle. The grow area was maintained at a maximum temperature of 28°C (82°F) and 80% humidity.
Observations:
All three seeds successfully germinated and were transplanted without issues.
Plants are looking healthy overall, with good initial growth.
Noted that 2 out of 3 plants are experiencing some stretching (also known as "spindling" or "etiolation"). This can occur due to insufficient light intensity or too much distance between the light source and the plants.
Actions Taken:
Lowered the LED grow lights slightly to increase light intensity and reduce stretching.
Ensured that the light cycle remains consistent at 18 hours on and 6 hours off.
Monitoring soil moisture levels to ensure proper hydration without overwatering.
Note: This grow diary will continue to Week 8 in another report, as the Cereal Milk plants are sharing the same grow room with my Cookies Gelato until Week 4.
Hey James! Thanks a bunch for the awesome comment! We're super excited too and can't wait to share the final results with you. The smell is already incredibly enticing! 🙀✨
Cheers!
Karl Lauterbach will personally come to your house and smoke anything over 50 grams. Dude is a talker when stoned. You've been warned. 😎
Harvest looks nice as well.
