This week, I noticed that the pH level of the soil remained steady at 6.8, which raised some concerns. However, my new EC meter has arrived, and I discovered that the EC value of my water fluctuates between 500 and 600 µS/cm. After preparing the water with nutrients, the EC level reaches approximately 2200 µS/cm, which is still within the acceptable range but quite high.
I’m hesitant to add more nutrients at this point, but since the plant has more space now and the older leaves are getting more light, the buds are developing more vigorously. Even the lower buds are looking denser and are covered with more resin. I’ve shifted from focusing on high potassium to increasing phosphorus, but I’m struggling to provide enough nutrients without pushing the EC into a range I’m uncomfortable with. As a result, I've ordered a reverse osmosis filter.
For this plant, the filter might not make much of a difference, as I’ve already begun the flushing process. Under the microscope, I’ve spotted the first brown trichomes, indicating that the plant will likely be ready for harvest in 1 to 2 weeks.
Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take many pictures this week because the ladies were moved to the basement. However, I plan to take more photos in the coming week as we enter the most exciting phase.
Hey James! Thanks a bunch for the awesome comment! We're super excited too and can't wait to share the final results with you. The smell is already incredibly enticing! 🙀✨
Cheers!
Karl Lauterbach will personally come to your house and smoke anything over 50 grams. Dude is a talker when stoned. You've been warned. 😎
Harvest looks nice as well.
