This week started with a massive defoliation of all plants, as they now have a minimum of two weeks until harvest. The goal was to improve airflow and light penetration, which is crucial at this stage.
Bad News: Unfortunately, I lost some buds due to the onset of mold, likely caused by high humidity levels. I had to cut them out to prevent further spread. It's a tough lesson, but it's essential to stay vigilant.
In addition to the defoliation, I began watering without any nutrients this week, using pure water with the necessary pH levels. This should help flush out any residual nutrients and prepare the plants for the final stretch.
Moving forward, I will be more attentive in the coming week, closely monitoring the plants and ensuring adequate ventilation. I will also keep a close eye on the trichomes to gauge their readiness for harvest.
Overall, it's a critical time, and I need to stay proactive to ensure a successful finish.
The challenges are tough, but I'm determined to learn and adapt for the best possible outcome. π¦π¦π¦
