This week i gave her no nutrients. I only gave Albi ph: 6.2 1l water 3 times.
I did it because she showed some slight nutrient burn on the tip s of her leaves.
I think it happened because i placed a layer of the hot soil for tomatoes on the bottom of the pot.
Since the burn is very slight? ill just wait till she eats it all. Runoff now shows ~2000 ppm which is a lot.
Guess I'll wait until it drops down.
Other than that this week she was pretty stable. Larger colas completely finished their stretch.
They reached ~45 cm height. Meanwhile lower colas still showing a little growth.
This week was also was very hot up to 30C and very humid. its 70 while I'm writing it.
Due to that fact the LVPD was a bit unstable - fluctuating somewhere from 1.1 to 1.7.
i cant afford dehumidifier right now so cant do much here.
Lights this week were ~40 DLI.
I did an average defoliation session once and
was performing a minor defoliation almost every day after.
I know most people do defoliate a lot at once and just a few times during the life cycle.
But I'm really interested to try this other way.
We will see how it goes.
Thank you for the detailed update. It sounds like you’ve been diligently troubleshooting the issue. Nutrient deficiency and lighting intensity are both common culprits for stunted growth.
It's good to hear that your plant responded positively to the adjusted light levels. Keep monitoring her response to the nutrient feed and the lighting adjustments. Sometimes, it takes a bit of tweaking to get everything just right. If you need any more advice or support, feel free to reach out. We’re here to help! 🌱
