**BLUE GELATO 41**

BreakingBud Only just started this diary. Watch this space! Seeds soaking in distilled water for 36 hours. Plants about a 7 days under 125w Flourescent. Nutrient program as Follows: •Genesis Formula: Micro, Grow & Bloom *Genesis formula has been the best nutrient I have ever used, I have acheived 1gram per watt with only 2 weeks veg 8 weeks flower with this nutrient, using Royal Queen Special Kush. •Shogun Roots Katana - I always try to use a cheaper rooting agent, this seems to offer great value for money. •alternative to Great White to ensure benneficials in hydro. •Botanicare pure blend tea, to feed the benneficials and provide plant sugars, humates and aminos. •Buddhas Tree Solar Green - Silica acid. •Pk booster - Canna always delivers but I will be using plant magic platinum Pk alongside ignition. •Terpenez intensifier, i will use this for the last 2-3 weeks including flush. •plant magic Flush - I beleive it is the best Flushing agent and always noticeably enhances the ripening process. •Calmag by Plant magic to hand. The medium for this Grow will be Rockwall flakes/micro cubes. Allows for fast root penetration and air flow. The system will be a Flood and drain/ DWC customised Alien Hydro system. I will place a V60 pump and 4 large airstones in the brain bucket, the pump will only power up for the duration of the flood and drain cycle. The goal is to supercharge the nutrient solution with large amounts of oxygen before it is delivered to the root zone at each plant site. Lighting: 1000w 400v Lumii lamp, set to 600w ramping up to 1000w if the temperature permits. The plants will be raised and finished with telos t0010 2x 320w Led cree panels. The leds allow for much less heat during the ripening stage which helps to keep the full complex aroma, as HPS often evaporates the terpenes without air conditioning. Co2 maybe used for Veg if temperature permits it.

BreakingBud Girls are 7 days old. Rooting well. 9/10 blue gelato 45 seeds germinated. I then germinated green crack and some other strains to make the litter up to 12.

BreakingBud Transplanted the coco cubes into the rockwool. Rockwool soaked at ph 5.8. Ec 0.9. Plants are showing signs of stress due to coco/rockwool transplant shock as well as a shift in the EC. Hopefully they will recover quickly! #update Media has been changed from Rockwool cubes to coco/hydroton 40:60. I should have started the seeds in rockwool to aid in a speedy transplant avoiding transplant shock. However i have decided not to take any further risk of delay of amy continuations of the effect of transplant shock. Swapping the media quikly hooefully will mot have led to any further or intesified stress. I plan to start Shiskaberry by barneys farm in Rockwool plugs and will use the media removed from this diary within the Shishkaberry Diary.

BreakingBud The girls are looking great! Flipped today, first day of flower, 2.5 weeks veg, had a bit of stress with underwatering which i incorrectly diagnosed as overwatering. Fixed now, feed schedule is one flood every 24 hours.

BreakingBud Feed strength increased this week and foliar feed administered. Nutrient feed is at 1.8 EC. Foliar feed is made up of Shogun SumoBoost and Buddhas Tree Solar Green. Feed 2x per week. Defoliation has been carried out in stages this week.

BreakingBud This week I had A slight issue that has now been resolved, The drain pump came out of the power socket leaving stagnent water in the pots for 1-3 days not sure how long, I dired the root zone out and then resumed the feed schedule, everything appears to be back to normal. At the end of week 2 blue gelato 41 reached its desired height and to combat the continuous stretch during this week (3 of flower) I switched the HPS back to LED and reduced the EC down to 1.2 and lowered the temp to 24/25c, this seems to have done the trick to some extent. I am foliar feeding every 3 days Sumo boost (contains triacontanol) combined with Silica. As I am approaching the start of week 4 I am going to lift the EC to 1.8 and switch the LED back to HPS at 600w. I see no need for a flush due to the low EC of 1.2. I have began defoliation very slightly but continuously over the next 7 days to avoid stresses from vigorous defoliation that I have experienced in the past that have resulted in delayed flowering.

BreakingBud Day 28 Of flower

BreakingBud Day 36/38 Flower, Slow flowering... Hopefully explosive growth will come soon. Medium will be flushed on day 38F as I have noticed Ec is runing a little to high.

BreakingBud Last week of flower, Not my favourite genetics to date. Slow flowering and quite leafy, however the smell is super potent and fuel like with fruity undertones.

BreakingBud Blue Gelato 41 was a great strain to grow but it did have its problems due to grower error, I believe the over intensity of defoliation through flower hindered the final yields and forced the plants to re-veg this may explain why the leaf to bud ratio was ridiculously high. The bud that I harvested was great and had an extremely potent aroma and serious crystal.
