Wastent91 Here we are! Finally, I have some time to show you my beautiful creations again! Unfortunately, I don't have as much free time as before, but since it's thanks to you who support me that I've become good at what I do, you've made me love and understand how to grow this miraculous plant to the best of my ability! So I want to keep you updated on my outdoor grow this year! Anyway, every year, since it's illegal in the country where I live, I don't keep more than 2 plants outside, but I want them to grow to the best of the possibilities that the location can offer them. So sit back and enjoy this beauty of nature! This strain is really very interesting; it's a plant with great growth vigor in height, with long distances between the internodes, and the leaves develop small and delicate compared to the overall vigor that this strain shows. Even from the first weeks of growth, I realized that this Gary Payton was special! I also took several cuttings that rooted immediately, which further strengthens my belief that one of my best outdoor plants is coming to life under the natural sunlight! Is this what makes the difference? I hope you don't mind that I start the diary this far into the growth weeks, but from now on, I'll keep you updated weekly to see how this plant grows in the near future! Wastent91 Here we are, another week has passed and I've almost caught up with my projects. As you can see with your own eyes, this is a beast of a plant that devours nutrients! Thanks to the pot that allows for natural root pruning and better air circulation, the roots have much more oxygen availability to go through many more dry/wet cycles, and this allows them to grow enormously better! I've also become quite skilled at using Bio Nova nutrients! I have to admit I underestimated them, but as you can see, the plant is very greedy and it seems like it never has enough! Wastent91 Here we are guys at the last week of vegetative growth, as you can see from the photos, it has started to produce pre-flowers, so we are close to the beginning of the most beautiful, most important moment, but also the one that makes me the most anxious, because I already know that this beast is going to start smelling outrageous, since the genetics are tremendously scary! I already know that the whole neighborhood will be greeted in the morning by the pungent smell of this majestic Gary Payton! Let's hope no one rats me out and lets me grow a giant outdoor plant in peace! The girl is really in great health, except for a storm that hit really hard just yesterday and broke my plant in two! I immediately took care of reattaching where it broke with some ties and tape, and I hope nature takes its course and we'll see if it can handle the weight of the buds, reinforcing the main stem with a nice woody scar, and let's hope it's not oxidizing from the inside and that too much air hasn't gotten in circulation that would compromise all the hard work.. Aside from that, everything is good, let's hope things continue to go in this direction and that I get some great buds filled with resin! Wastent91 Hey guys, how's everything? I hope so.. So as you can see, the flowering of this immense beast started two weeks ago! There was a storm that broke my main stem, splitting it in two, but I managed to tie it all up and it seems there hasn't been any internal structural damage. The plant is developing as it should without any slowdowns or various stresses that could compromise the total flowering. The only thing is that not knowing the genetics, since for me they are all new!.. given that it's illegal in my country, every plant/genetic I grow is always a unique discovery for me! So not knowing how it develops and how big and heavy the buds will be, I try to act accordingly and solve problems as they arise, since not having had experience, I can't predict how it will develop... The girl seems to be in great shape, a lot of small buds and the first hints of spicy aroma are wafting in the air of my garden (even in my neighbors' garden! 🤭😁😂) I wake up every morning smelling the sweet aroma of this Gary Payton that all the smokers who have been abroad have talked about very positively, and I hope to achieve at least a satisfying result for my tastes, as I'm not really someone who expects the best weed in the world! Although every time I grow a new strain/genetic, it seems to me that it's the best I've ever smoked in my life! Aside from that, she's really becoming huge. I've already tied the main branches with some string to support the weight of the buds, but I think I'll have to do the same with the other side branches that are becoming a problem, because I don't know how to best support the weight of the buds that will develop... Let's hope karma is on my side and everything goes positively so I can complete the flowering, not like last year when I had to harvest early because in October police helicopters kept flying over my town, and the anxiety I had made me harvest before the time. I hope that doesn't happen this time and that the girl can express herself at her best in her majestic complete flowering! Wastent91 Sorry for the delay, I combined the last two weeks due to time issues.. The girl is increasing in volume quite well, there are really a lot of buds and they are developing in the right way, except I noticed that the rainwater I was giving her was too acidic and now I find myself with all the tips of the leaves burned, although I don’t think it’s a sign of over-fertilization but rather an incorrect pH of the rainwater that I wasn’t measuring.. Aside from this, everything else is going well, it’s really a joy to see such a monster grow outdoors and give the phenomenal genetics the chance to express itself at its best! Let’s hope it doesn’t smell too much and that this year I can complete the flowering in the best possible way! Thanks to all of you who follow me even though I’m not as present as before.. Wastent91 Here we are guys! The beast is in full bloom! I think I’ll probably have to start tying the branches because the weight of the buds is starting to be felt! In fact, it’s beginning to swell and throwing out a lot of flowers and plenty of resin; I knew from the crazy growth in the vegetative stage that it would be a truly amazing strain! It's impressive how much it eats and it always seems to be lacking, which means it’s metabolizing the Bio Nova nutrients well, which have become a surefire success for me! Really, six phenomenal products! You can already smell the sweet fragrance of this hybrid strain all over the garden, a spicy citrus scent that makes the morning wake-up feel like you want to eat the buds because the aroma is so unique and sweet! Congratulations to MSNL seeds for producing such an amazing strain! I expect at least another 2 weeks of continued bud growth, which are already swelling nicely and you can already feel a nice density and exceptional resin! Thank you to all of you who follow and appreciate me; you are the main motivation for why I risk growing outdoors, even though it’s illegal in my country and I’ve been persecuted since I was 16 for this passion of mine, which I would like to turn into a job, putting my skills at the service of people who want to produce their own medicine at home without having to go to a psychiatrist or doctor to get pills that are just chemicals and have a ton of side effects.. Wastent91 Here we are guys! I managed to take her to today, October 7th! The girl is practically ready! In just 1 week, I’ll be harvesting this beast! It has a really inviting citrus smell but at the same time earthy musky indica! I can't wait to try it! The buds are a bit smaller than I would have expected if I had grown it indoors, but there are so many that after a good drying and curing, I’m sure it will turn out to be phenomenal medical weed!! I really wish this could become my job or that someone would notice me and give me the opportunity to do it, but unfortunately in Italy there’s a fascist government that has made even the production of CBD illegal, let alone weed with THC which is seen as the absolute evil, and this makes me extremely sad, because I don't harm anyone, on the contrary, I help many people who have the same problems and want to heal with their own medical weed!
