The tent was hot this week. I had to keep the doors open throughout most of the light cycle. Took a look at this strain and thought it might be fun to grow. I'll top one plant and train both/other plant to gather some data before the next run. One of these had to soak on the paper towel for 4 extra days. It just popped out of the soil on day 7 (It is very difficult to see in the last photo).

Only a couple of pics this week showing their progress through 14 days from seed. Giving them a little water every 2-3 days and they seem to be doing well. Next week I'll add some nutes to help with root zone development. The runt is starting to catch up.

Garden is cruising along nicely. Both plants have almost doubled in size. I started to give them some microbes to jump start the root zone this week. I've watered them every 3 days but limiting the watering to a pint or less. I will place these into the bigger tent early next week with the 315w cmh light. Another thing to note about these two girls is that they started later than the rest of the strains grown in this group.

The Pineapple Express lags behind. These plants will finish 1-2 weeks later than all the rest. I can tell just by how they're developing plus they didn't poke out of the soil until a week or more after the rest of this grow.

One of the plants transitioned from veg to flower this week. Had some stretching and bunches of pistils appear at flower sites. Started to feed it some basic bloom nutrients. The shorter one still in veg got the Rootamentary & Sea Green feeding regiment. Placed these 2 plants on buckets to bring them closer to the light.

One of the phenos is flowering nicely. The other one is starting to show pre-flower pistils. I still fed the latter with Rootamentary and Sea Green. I also did some defoliation to allow light to penetrate to the lower bud sites on the pheno that isn't flowering yet.

One pheno is flowering really nice while the other girl is trying to figure out whether or not it is time for puberty. I'm still feeding the pheno in veg Rootamentary and Sea Green. Seeing pre-flowers all over her tops but nothing is happening yet on this late bloomer. The other pheno is short and stocky but the flowers are starting to pack on a little weight and get frosty. I stopped feeding her Bud Ignitor and doubled the Big Bud dosage.

It is very disappointing that the pheno with the great structure is still stuck in pre-flower at 56 days.... If I don't see any signs of flowering by the end of week 9, I'm going to write her off as a dud and trash her. The other pheno is only around 9 inches tall and I'm going to guess that the harvest will only be around 1/2 oz if I'm lucky. However, she does have some nice and frosty looking flowers.

One is flowering, the other isn't... I fed the flowering with the above nutrients this week. The non-flowering one got water for the first feeding and some liquid bone meal for the second feeding.

One of these phenos isn't flowering (9 weeks in veg). Is it possible that the autoflower trait wasn't passed down? I won't have a 12/12 environment to test it for some time. Should I just trash it?

Hi, i wont trash her, if you have space just let her be. Try to give her darkness... to push her to floer. i wont give up hope. and maybe yes shes a photoperiod, but i dont think so. Maybe try to put her out of the tent after 12 hours or give her 1 day complete darknesss. try something with darkness. maybe it pushes her. in worst case let her like she is, and after you ended your grow do a 12/ 12 grow for her..... i would try it. but its your descision i would ask the breeder too. What do you think @Fast_Buds ?

Kept feeding the one flowering plant the overdrive scheme. Placed the other plant into darkness for 24 hours to try and trigger her to flower. I've been moving her back and forth between dark area/tent giving her between 11-13 hours of light daily all week. Looks promising so far.

I started to flush the small plant. The other plant is just starting to bloom. I'm rotating her in and out of this tent to keep her on a 12/12 light schedule. She's around 20 inches tall with lots of nice bud sites. I'm going to defoliate her next week to open up more light penetration below the canopy. I'm obviously not flushing the one that just started to flower. I'll update the nutrient feeding once I harvest the small plant.

Got about another week until I harvest the little plant. She is just getting water from here on out. The second plant has finished 2 weeks of flowering. I posted the nutrient feeding for her this week. I'm giving her 12/12 lighting.

The first pheno is about done. We'll be starting the harvest process on her early next week. I continue to rotate the other tall pheno into darkness every 12 hours. She's filling in nicely and starting to stack up.

I chopped down the first pheno on day 93. The second pheno is flowering right along. If you haven't been following along, the 2nd pheno had to be shocked into flowering. I'm not 100% certain if the autoflower trait was passed down to this plant so I'm going to continue giving her a 12/12 lighting schedule. She's been flowering for about 4 weeks. If she's anything like the other plant I'll need at least 5 more weeks to complete this grow.

@Mrs_Larimar, She's still stretching using new lighting schedule. As soon as I see bunches of pistils I'm going to cross my fingers and stick her back under the 18/6 regime and hope she doesn't revert back into veg. If she does, we'll know that the autoflowering trait was skipped on this pheno. Peace!

I learned something new today, and that’s always good. That autos may not always be autos because of hybridization. Makes sense. Thanks for keeping this diary. Enjoy your harvest. Buy regular non fem seeds sometimes even if you don’t want to grow them. It’s the only way to ensure breeders continue to offer them

@Sgtoso, Cool. Spare your most vigorous male maybe and breed your own strain. Perhaps her name could be Beary Fruity

@growdoctordc, Thanks for stopping by! I have regulars, fems, and autos in my inventory. I'll be popping some regulars in the spring, sexing and killing males soon enough!

Can you get Gibberellin? It works for flowering. However there is a chance that you will get hermaphroditite buds.

@Med_in_Tropic, Hey thanks for stopping by with the suggestion. I googled it and yes, I can get Gibberellin. She's flowering so I don't understand why I would do this now. I had a hermie that pollinated an entire crop last year so I'll pass. Peace

Good to know that auto can be like this. I am really curious if you can get her to finally flower. At least she’ll get bigger and produce more.

@Mrs_Larimar, @Stick, @souljasam, @FastBuds, Thanks to all of you for stopping by for some advice. To me it is interesting that everyone says to try to save her. I'm not in any danger of running out of herb too soon and I'm focusing a lot of my energy on production costs. I'm going to leave this question open for now to see if I get any other suggestions. I should have some space to put her in the dark next week. I'll try this first to see if it shocks her into flowering. I'm currently waiting on some space in my veg tent; using it's carbon filter to reduce odor on some drying herb atm... Currently running two 5'x5' flower tents (all on 18/6 and full atm) and one veg tent (2'x4' with blue spectrum T5s). I have some regular beans I wanted to pop in April. I guess I'll do it sooner so I can try and flower this one at 12/12.
