I speak for the trees and I'm starting my first grow. 08/08/24- The seeds have finally arrived and I've got them soaking in a cup of water to begin the germination process. Planning on growing these 3 feminized seeds in my 3x3 grow tent and using all my green thumb knowledge to get maximum yield. Hoping to have enough to give a lot of Christmas gifts out to friends. Excited to start the adventure. Update (08/12/24) - Seedlings have emerged and I transferred them into the grow tent. One seedling seems to be a day behind the other two, as it sprouted its tap root 24hrs after the others. However it is emerging from the soil now and seems like it will be just fine. Update (08/18/24) - going strong. Watered once per week soaked through and left to dry completely. Just using PH'd water and letting the fox farms soil feed the Nutes. The runt is still behind a bit, but all plants are healthy and growing. Grow tent is staying at a constant 78°f in the day, down to 75° at night. Humidity has stayed around 70%. My tent is in a closet, so heat and humidity are easy to maintain at these higher levels. I'll need to add a dehumidifier for late veg and flower.

10 days since they popped out of the soil. All 3 plants are healthy and happy. The runt is still lagging behind the others quite a lot though. The largest of the 3 has been leaning a bit. Not stretched from light issues, as I have it set correctly, but I think it's leaf mass is just too large for its stem currently. I corrected this by propping the stem back to a vertical position by supporting the leaning side with some soil. They were 95% dry yesterday, so I am gave them a watering, which should last a few days. I am using FFOF soil, so no nutrients needed at this stage. However I did decide to add half the recommended dose of CalMag+ to this watering in order to promote strong cell wall development while they are bulking up their stem. After doing some research, it seems like FFOF is slightly lacking in what CalMag offers, so a small dose should fill that need. I am hoping it helps my largest plant stabilize under the weight of its more rapid growing leaves. The middle plant seems to be my Goldilocks (I guess thats her name now lol), as she has what I consider an optimal stem height, straight as an arrow and growing thicker, while growing leaves at a rate I am also happy with. Have a feeling they will start picking up steam now that we are crossing out of the seedling phase and getting some real leaves. 08/20/24 - Update - Another day of massive growth (imo). Can't get enough of comparing daily photos to see how much foliage has grown while I'm out at work. I increased the PPFD to 400 yesterday, and the plants seem to be responding well. It is slightly higher than what is recommended in many places, but I have also read of people going right to 600ppfd in early veg and being fine. I plan to monitor and adjust if any signs of stress start to show. The Runt of the litter had bone dry soil this morning, which I am a bit confused about, but it must have not had as saturated soil from the previous watering or the initial soak when the seed was first planted. Either way, I decided to give it a little more water to keep it's soil as moist as the other two plants. I aim to have them all dry out at the same time, so hopefully this gets that pot back on track. Installed a new fan as well, which might help too since the old fan was static and closest to the small plant. 08/23/24 - update- Nothing much to say, the plants are all going strong. The runt is showing some leaf shape mutations, but this usually resolves as it grows from what I've read. Added a half dose of FloraGrow as there isn't much soil in pots this size, so I want to make sure they are getting enough Nutes. Don't want to overfeed them though, so just giving a small dose. May end up culling the runt if it doesn't catch up to the others, as my 3x3 tent may do better with 2 plants maxing the space instead of having 1 underachiever taking up space. Haven't decided yet.

Week 2! We made it. Technically starts tomorrow, but I am posting to week 2 today since it is the last night of week 1. Big changes to start the week. I decided to cull the runt of the 3, as it just isn't growing fast enough in addition to its mutated leaf shape genes. I think I will be better off just putting all my time and effort into the other 2 plants that are thriving, especially in a grow tent as small as the one I am using, it feels like my yield will be more determined by square feet rather than plant quantity. The healthy 2 have leaves that grow out past their initial pots, so I have transplanted them into some 5gal grow bags. These still seem small to me, so there may be another transplant in this grow. Waited for soil to dry out and put them into fresh pots of FFOF soil. Seems to have gone off without a hitch, but we shall see how they adjust to their new homes. Watered them in with around 2/3 of a gallon of plain distilled water, PH'd to 6, as this fresh soil should be hot enough that they won't need Nutes for a while. This was enough water for the bags to run through. Now that I am in fabric bags, I will need to get some trays for them to sit in to deal with the run off. Hoping that they recover well, as they are on track to be topped this week in preparation for mainlining. 08/26/24- update- both plants seem to have recovered from the transplant well. Perked back up and continued to put on some size. Had a humidity spike of 82% today, so I put a damp-rid next to one of the intake vents, and it seems to have stabilized back into the 60% range. Will need to invest in a dehumidifier before flipping to flower in a few weeks. 08/27/24 - update- Good growth today. Added a couple bug traps just to screen for any pests. I had to leave the tent unzipped at the top for a couple days to help deal with the humidity, so I want to be safe, but I doubt I have any pests. Also got some trays to place to pots in to give some airflow to the bottom of the bags and catch overflow. Still hydrated from their first watering, so likely won't water until tomorrow night or the 28th. Bigger plant is getting it's 4th node, so 1 more and I will top it and begin mainlining. I also ordered a dehumidfier and a 400w grow light to replace the 100w model I have now, as I will need more wattage as I get farther into Veg and eventually flower. Live in a humid place, so I got the dehumidifier to control the RH during flower. Last thing I want is bud rot at the end of all this work. 08/29/24 - update - Still going strong. Containers were dry and much lighter, so I gave them their second round of watering since transplant. Added a half dose of CalMag to this watering to encourage continued cell wall growth and maintain that sweet deep green leaf color, not enough to Nute-Lock them though since they are in a fresh hot batch of FFOF and don't need any supplementary nutrients beyond the small dose I fed today. The larger of the two plants is almost done pushing out it's 4th node, so I will likely be topping it next week as the 5th node emerges and establishes itself. Hoping that a small dose of CalMag will prep it for the recovery after topping. Smaller plant is 1 node behind the overachiever, so I will likely hold off on training until it catches up, and may even forego mainlining entirely if it continues to lag behind the other. 08/30/24 - Big Updates - Had a pest scare, found some small black bugs (spider mites I think) on the bottom of one of the first leaves of my biggest plant. I cleaned the entire tent out, disinfected it, and gave the plants a heavy coat of neem oil on every leaf and the top soil, let them dry out for 4 hours under normal house lights to keep their light schedule, and then got them back into the tent just before their scheduled 6 hours of dark. Added some Diatomaceous Earth to the top layer of the soil as well to kill anything that might be lurking. I think I caught it early enough that there should be no problems, but I am going to add weekly spray downs and more frequent tent cleanings to my routine. My new light came in today, so now I have a 400w sonofarmer which fills out the tent much better for even light coverage, and will have the power I need to get these girls growing huge in flower. Thing is a beast. Have it just over 2ft above the canopy, running at around 25% power and it is matching the 400 PPFD that my 100w Vivosun VS1000 was putting out at 75% power 18" above the canopy. 08/31/24 - Update - Topped the girls last night and they seem to be recovering fine. Not a ton of growth today, but I have put them trough a lot this week, so it is to be expected. Pests seem to be under control now, no sign of them since Neem oil and D.E. application. Added a Dehumidifier into the tent because the RH was getting a little higher than I want during the day. The bigger of the two plants seems to have gotten a couple minor spots of damage on some leaves from the oil staining them. I may have not diluted it enough before applying. Live and learn I guess. I doubt it will be very detrimental in the long run. Gave them a light watering tonight as they were pretty much completely dry. This watering had Flora-Grow and Flora-Micro in a half dose added in. Just trying to give them a little boost if they need it to recover well. Excited to start Week 3.

09/02/24 - Week 3 Plants seem to have recovered from Topping, but growth has slowed quite a bit which is to be expected. I repotted and moved a bunch of my house plants today, so I made a new batch of soil to fix the soil level of my two girls, as once their soil settled from watering, it was far too low in the grow bags. I don't like that I had to retransplant them and add more stress, but I think it is needed to make sure I have enough space for strong root growth. I carefully filled 2 new 5 gallon bags with some FFOF and my own soil mix (Coco Coir, light worm castings and bone meal, lots of perlite, and some Mycorrhizae fungus. My larger plant's new growth from the topping sight looks nute burned, and so I wanted to dilute the soil they were already in, and I watered with pure distilled water PH'd to 6. However, the other plant seems to be doing fine and has had all the same nutes and treatments done to it, so I am not sure why the larger one seems to be struggling right now. I am hoping that it won't be a big deal down the road and that I can get it corrected. I don't expect much growth this week while they recover from the second transplant and the rough week 2 I put them through. I still have the runt of the tent growing under a light on my kitchen counter. It has been doing very well for what it is. The newest leaves seem to be more normal than the first couple sets, but it is still very slow growing (despite still being under 400ppfd and 18/6 light schedule). I transplanted it to a larger ceramic container today as it was filling out the starting cup. Always good to have her as a back up for the tent if I manage to kill one of the others, but at this rate she will need 4 months of veg before being big enough to flower 😂 09/03/24 - update - Plants seem happy. Signs of growth again, so the re-transplant doesn't seem to have negatively effected them. Wish the bigger plant didn't look so sad, but once it's big enough to lollypop it won't have those scars, so it is what it is. Nothing new done to them, just letting them drink the watering I gave yesterday and soak in the light. 09/06/24 - update - Both plants are doing very well. The transplant seems to have helped a lot more than it hindered them. I pruned the burned leaves on the larger plant as they were covering the lower leaves. After doing that, the plant has exploded with growth in last 48 hours. I also topped the second node branches of the smaller plant to encourage another branch split and widen her out a bit more. I probably should have waited for a couple more nodes, but this will keep the plant more symetrical, and it seems to be doing fine post topping. Finally starting to look like real plants now, which is exciting.

Missed a few days, been busy. Plants are still chugging along happily. I swapped their position in the tent, as the larger one is more of a pain to get out when I need to defoliate or do other management on them. I've started using a Foliar Fertilizer spray once a week, and I have defoliated leaves that were blocking lower nodes. The smaller of the two got a more serious top and chop, as the larger is already developing nicely, and I am catching the smaller one up to what I have already done for the bigger one. Still have the runt growing, and I put it back in the tent for some more substantial light, as I topped it pretty heavy. I seems to be recovering well, but it will always be the runt of the litter. The two big plants are going through a half gallon of water each every 3 days or so. I am still just watering with water PH'd to 6, no additional nutes. Tonight I am topping the branches of the larger plant. It currently has the main stem topped at the 3rd node, and now I am topping the 4 lower node branches to give me a total of 10 main stems (hopefully 10 cola sites). Also giving them another foliar spray down. 09/13/24 - Both plants have adjusted to LST very well. I staked down their branches to be aligned horizontally with the soil, giving more light to the lower canopy. I staked them on the 11th, adjusting their position lightly, and then I adjusted them even further on 12th. Plenty of new growth is showing now as a result. I've also continued to prune any fan leaves that get too big or block lower nodes, usually around 4 leaves every other day, Less often on the smaller plant. The larger plant has always shown vigorous growth and rebound ability, so I am more willing to be consistent with pruning it, knowing it won't hinder the growth of the plant for a day like it does for the smaller one. 09/14/24 - Last night I defoliated leaves blocking lower developing branches and then watered them with a full dose of CalMag (about a half gallon of water for each of the large plants) to help with recovery. I've removed them from the tent 4 hours before my lights kick off (but they are still under my normal house lights to keep their cycle), and I gave them another foliar spray down. I will be putting them back into the tent 20 minutes before their light goes off and they have dried out enough to avoid light burns. This has been a fairly stress heavy week for the plants with all the LST, Topping, and Defoliation. I plan to let them recover untouched for the next 2 days at least so I can go into week 5 fresh. 09/15/24 - Plants seem to be recovering well, enjoying the calmag and foliar spray. I swapped the position of the plants in the tent again, which may be confusing in the photos (my bad). - I have also started 2 autoflower seeds, which I may end up including in the tent if the flowering lines up well with these LSSH's flip, which I plan to do around week 8 -

Week 5 starts, and everything is going well. Just watered them this morning with PH'd water with a small dose of General Hydro Flora-Grow. Getting to the point where my soil's nutes are likely running low, so I am starting to supplement with liquid feed in the water a bit more to adjust them for when it is their primary source. 09/16/24 - On the advice of a growmie on here, I am starting the flip tonight. Scrog netting installed, and light timer updated to a 7am-7pm light schedule. Here we go! 09/17/24 - Ended up actually making my light schedule on from 7pm-7am, as I live in a high humidity area, and getting the humidity of the tent low enough for flowering stage is pretty tough. I've added 2 small fans into the tent, as well as another fan to blow fresh colder air towards the intake. I am running my dehumidifier in the room that the tent is in, and I also have a tub of Damp-Rid. We will see how that goes. I just got back home from work, mixed up some water and nutes (General Hydroponics Flora - Grow - Micro - Bloom at the recommended ratios) and fed the girls. Switching my light schedule to being on at night means that they went the last 23 hours without any light, so not much growth to report today. The budsights do seem more vibrant and bright, but maybe I am just seeing things. 09/18/24 - Looking good, nothing new to report really. Removed a couple fan leaves that were blocking lower flower sites, but other than that I am just letting them ride. Watered last night so they are all set there, and nothing new to tuck under the netting. Branches I tucked yesterday have either grown into their respective squares a bit more, or turned upwards, which is nice to see. steady as she goes. 09/19/24 - A bit more growth from last night, able to stretch some branches to fill out the netting a bit more. No water tonight as the soil is still moist. Starting to see the first hints of sugar on the leaves. Hoping for pistols soon. 09/20/24 - Another day, a little bigger, still no pistols, but looking healthy and happy. Managed to get my RH down and more stable, so that's good. Watering tomorrow. 9/22/24 - end of first week of flower. Filling out the net, just watered and fed, still growing strong. No pistols, hopefully next week.

Starting week 2 of flower. Still no pistols. Stretching out well to fill scrog. Did some defoliating of the fan leaves that were blocking light from lower sites. All seems good. 09/24/24 - recovered well from pruning. Hurricane coming next couple of days, so I may lose power, which is concerning. Shouldn't be a huge deal as long as it is only a day, but I got a battery powered light so I can at least keep them on their on/off cycle even if it isn't providing enough light for development. 09/29/24 - Power went off for 3 days, just came back on. Watered with nutes, adjusted scrog, and now we wait to see how they recover. Flowers FINALLY starting to show though, so they definetlly kept growing even while their only light source was a flashlight I used to keep their light/dark cycle stable.

Week 3 Flower - Plants have seemed to bounce back from the 3 days without their grow light. I gave each plant a heavy defoliation / shwazzing to focus growth on the upper bud sites, hopefully avoiding as much larf as I can. The increased airflow and light saturation from this seems great. Need to give them a couple days to recover, but this should be the last time I do any pruning. Pistols on all bud sites, which is exciting. Starting to smell sharp and lemony. 10/05/24 - Coming into the end of week 3. The overachiever has obvious buds, the other two plants are just starting to show real pistols. Today I gave them each a gallon of water with nutes. Also top dressed the 5 gallon pots with worm castings, because the root bases of the plants has started to show from water compacting the soil.

Another hurricane coming. Hope i dont lose power, but I've got a generator this time to keep the lights going for my girls. Did another light defoliation removing some larf sites and bigger fan leaves. Buds on the strongest plant are well developed and getting bigger every day. The other two plants are just starting to show real buds. 10/10/24- everything still looking good. Rh is a little high, but they don't seem to mind. Buds starting to really fill out along the branches.

Entering Week 5 of Flower. Plants are doing great, really starting to fill out. The strongest of the 3 is thickening up, and the middle one is really starting to stretch. The runt even has good buds forming. I do think that I am starting to see signs of Nitrogen Toxicity in the fast grower, darker leaves and a tendency to curl downwards, so I will be watering with no Nutes this week. Looking like my first harvest will be a good one. Fingers Crossed. 10/14/24- Pruned a few leaves that were getting big and blocking bud sites. Starting to smell amazing, sharp lemon and berry notes. Thickening up every day. 10/15/24 - Nothing new to report. Watered again tonight without nutes. 10/16/24 - Officially 30 days of Flower! I can finally envision the nugs. Shaping up to be a good first run. 10/18/24 - Coming into the end of the week strong. Still fattening up. Glad I decided to flush these girls with plain water, because the first signs of tip burn are showing, so I definitely overfed. Beginner mistake I guess. Hopefully I caught it early enough that I can reverse it or keep it at bay until harvest. Tonight I did a little pruning on the fast grower. I cleaned up a ton of lower larf sites that were just taking up energy and space in the interior of the plant, so I carefully pruned what I was comfortable removing, making sure not to touch or disturb the pistols and sugar leaves. It has drastically increased the airflow and light saturation, and hopefully wont come at too much of a cost in the form of recovery. She always recovered super fast from training, so I'm not worried.

Week 6! Had to put the trellis net back up for the one that stretched a lot, as without the support it is risking snapping some primo buds. Starting to see the first pistols turn orange, which is exciting. Back to feeding them the GH-Bloom with watering. Smells amazing when the trichomes get touched, but it doesn't have a strong smell in the tent or grow room yet. Excited for these next few weeks to finish out this grow. From other grows of this strain, it seems to take 9-10 weeks of flower to finish out. This week should be where it puts more bulk on. 10/26/24- Last day of Week 6, it went quick as I was busy. Everything has gone well. I fed twice this week, but watered every day as the girls are super thirsty now. Lots of pistols turning orange now. Buds are looking frosty and smelling amazing, but the air is still only smelling mildly weedy. Touch a sugar leaf though, and your fingers have the strongest citrus/gas/berry smell that brings be right back to the first Lemon Haze I ever smoked. 3 or 4 more weeks until they should be ready to harvest. I can't wait.

Week 7 of flower. Nothing new to report really, just going steady into the end. Leaves are starting to show signs of death and a bit of nute burn, but im far enough along that I have no recourse for fixing it in time. Just watering with a half dose of bloom and calmag every other day. A gallon of water per plant. Pistils continuing to turn orange and buds are getting frosty. Was hoping they would be thicker than they are, but I am still happy with the yield it looks like I'll be having. 2 more weeks! Day 45 of flower, going strong. Buds are looking gorgeous. Very different looks, but they smell equally

Missed a few days because I got busy. Day 51 of flower now. Looking like I will need the full 10 weeks for these girls to finish out. They haven't really put on much size lately, but they are definitely ripening up. 2/3 of the plants have buds with plenty of orange pistils and trichs that are clouding up, but one of the plants has 95% white pistils still despite also having cloudy trichs forming. A bit weird, but I will harvest based on trichomes and ignore the pistil color of that plant. Smell is exactly what I remember from the first time I bought this strain from a head shop and fell in love. Can't wait for harvest, drying, and curing.

Hey growmie, your babies look great, don't worry they gonna develop into strong beautiful ladies! I guess if it's been 10 days since planting the seeds, then they must be around 5-6 days old. Also it doesn't really matter because I had plants that looked underdeveloped during first couple of weeks but they grew to become biggest yielders ;) Enjoy your grow!
