The purple lemonade in the front left and back right are getting close. Leaves are starting to yellow, pistols are turning amber. Trying to determine when trichomes are cloudy/amber, but its been difficult.
I think I'm going to give the plants one more feeding and start flush. Looking at pictures on here and doing a little research, it seems that first time growers tend to harvest a bit early. So I'm assuming I'm no different and am going to give it an extra week.
Any tips or information is welcome and appreciated!
Flushing. Uploaded a bunch of pictures but it crashed. Will upload pictures before harvest.
Watered on 8/13. Probably the last watering I will do on the purple lemonade. I'm starting to see a fair amount of amber trichomes on the sugar leaves and some on the buds. I have never harvested cannabis before, but I am looking for a more sativa-like high. The plan is to put them into darkness for two days, two days from now. So my harvest day will be 8/17! If anyone has any suggestions on things I could improve please comment, thanks 😊
Putting the three purple lemonades in darkness for two days and then going to chop them down. Starting to see amber trichomes on all budsites, especially in the top nodes. They smell exactly like a bowl of cut up lemons. Uploading close up pictures when I harvest.
The banana purple punches have another week or two left.
She was a fantastic plant to grow for my first run. She is slightly nitrogen sensitive, which is mentioned in the grow guide on fastbuds website, but I still messed it up. Because of this, they got off to a slow start, but were able to recover pretty well. I didn't have any other issues growing them. LST worked very well on these plants, and the one that I ended up topping yielded the exact same as my biggest plant that I only LST'd with. I enjoyed being able to top them because I find it really easy to maintain a good plant structure.
The Purple Lemonades are drying right now. It is very hot where I am at, but I am still trying to achieve a minimum seven day dry time. Will upload pictures when they're finished!
