Northern Lights / Kalini Asia - SECOND GROW

BotanykByro After my last grow, it was time to thoroughly clean the tent. So I carefully wiped everything down and got it ready – prepared for the next round. This time, I decided on an exciting hybrid grow, consisting of three plants each of the strains Northern Lights and Kalini Asia, both from Zamnesia. Both strains are heavily Indica-dominant and share a similar flowering time, at least according to the manufacturer. It will be exciting to see how they develop! After the seedlings successfully grew in the Jiffys (which I unfortunately didn't document), they were transplanted into 0.5-liter pots and brought into the grow tent. I start the light output with a moderate 45 watts, which I increase a bit every two days. The lamp distance is kept between 35 and 50 cm. My goal is to promote the plants' vertical growth by continuously adjusting the light intensity and distance. Now it's time to wait and see how the coming weeks will unfold. Stay tuned – it's going to be exciting!

BotanykByro The second week of vegetation is in full swing, and the plants look very happy. They are developing wonderfully! During this time, I repotted them into larger 5-liter pots – unfortunately, I forgot to take a picture of the root development this time, but I'll remember to catch that next time. 😉 When repotting, I added about 10 g of BioFeeding Grow per plant and watered it all with the appropriate enhancer as instructed – about 300 ml per plant. Let it grow...

BotanykByro The third week of vegetation and the growth is in full swing! The plants are really thriving, and it will soon be time to repot again. At the same time, I'm considering whether it's already time for topping. However, the question is whether I should do that right after repotting or give the plants a few days to recover first. I think I'll base it on the health of the plants – until then, it's time to drink tea and wait. I'm still gradually increasing the light output, and we're now at about 135 watts. I'm continuously adjusting the lamp distance: Whenever the plants get to about 35 cm close to the light, I raise the distance back to 45 cm. Let it grow – until next week!

BotanykByro First week of flowering and the stretch is in full swing :) Defoliated 1 day before flowering, and fertilized with Greenhouse BioBloom.

BotanykByro Flowering week until 2 1/2. So far so good...

BotanykByro Day 21 of flowering, defoliated, and a week later they already look recovered. This can keep going. The only concern is whether too much was defoliated. I'll only be able to say that at the end. One plant will remain mostly natural in this run to make comparisons possible.

BotanykByro All plants are in juice. :) Stretch is also finished since last week.

BotanykByro Harvest after 4 weeks of curing... I'm very satisfied with the taste and the terps are berry and earthy. I would smoke it before going to bed.

BotanykByro Kalini Asia surprised me positively and performed really well. It has sour terps and offers a completely unique smoking experience. A good strain to enjoy in company.
