Haven't found any other diaries of the same strain so we'll do some research on how to grow this one ;)
Dropped the seed in Vitathrive solution mixed with water for 3 hours then dropped the seed directly in the container. The seedling will spend at a minimum a week under the FL lights then will be moved to the 3x3 tent.
Added a small heater for when the lights are off to bring up the temp to 65 F. The humidity is much too low for this stage of growth. I'm constantly trying things to adjust temperature and humidity levels.
LST in action. I unfortunately cannot comment on pictures, not sure why. She is growing fast therefore decided this was the perfect time to do some low stress training. The intent is to have a bunch of massive colas. We will see if I manage to reach this objective ;)
I have to first off say, wow did she ever respond well to LST. I'm now questioning myself if I mis-tagged the pots cause she sure looks like a Sativa and to my knowledge NL are Indica. Now mind you its crossed with a Lowryder and again LR were bread to be short plants so I have no clue if I was sold some other seeds but she is by far my best looking plant of the garden and is now well into the start of week 1 of flowering. Now you might ask yourself why I marked this week as a Veg but its cause I'm a little late and will re-post in 5 days with new updates and better pics.
Cheers!
She drinks like no other auto I've grown before she loves the nutrients but I'm keeping the PPMs below 650 for now. I'll be testing her a 750 this week and if she continues showing no signs of deficiencies I'm leaning on trying the product from Green Planet called Dense which is 0-0-62!!!
This week all plants but the Sweet Tooth will be getting Massive nutrients from Green Planet which does wonders for getting those fat colas.
Full into flower now. She got Massive nutrients for the first time this week and all girls were defoliated and Lolli popped. She requires feeding every 2-3 days nothing like I've ever seen before with autos.
Stickiest plant I've ever grown hands down. I'm looking forward to the end product - next week I will be looking under the microscope to see the status of the trichomes to determine when the flush will be.
Final Week, she will receive PH water to use up existing nutrients in the peat moss followed by a minimum of 3 watering which will bring me to next week. The colas are having a hard time to stand by themselves, a good problem to have when you're growing cannabis lol The terpenes on this girl are something else, she is the stickiest plant I've ever grown hands down 😀

Week 11. Harvest
Happy Harvest Day!
Northern Lights x Lowryder - Custom Breeder & Strain
Harvested at end of week 12, At week 11 the trichomes were 90% milky and 10% amber with 50% orange pistils.
Appearance of Plant: Fairly tall for an auto
Appearance of buds: Covered with crystals
Density of Buds: 7/10
Resin: 9/10
Dry Time and Cure for Smoke Report: 5 days at 55% Humidity // Temp: 71°
Curing will take some time. Generally I find 6 weeks minimum tends to give me a good quality product. I will be burping the mason jars twice a day for the next week or so and add a 58% Bodeva pack. I prefer 58% vs 62% because I tend to use a vaporizer.
Smoke Report: After nearly 2 months of curing I can confirm this is a great night smoke and will assist those with insomnia. Smells and tastes like pine.
Pros of growing this strain:
- Grows tall and long colas uniformly
- Would be great for SCROG
- Good for Rosin production
- Fast flowering
Cons:
- Leafy therefore buds are longer to trim
- Buds are more airy
- Strong smell need a filter unless smell isn't a problem0000000
