The whole tent growing very slow one barely sprouted. I started a 5th seed in my smaller veg tent and than one is already at a better pace even though it started 5 days later.
I dimmed down the light to 20% and have barely watered, twice throughout the week and only 0.1L per pots. To help the root structure I added 2ml/L BioBizz Rootjuice
The worse set of seeds I worked with.
First time I use Cali Connection seeds and the first time that every single seed grows into a deformed, extremely slow growing abomination
I move the young plants into their final pot. As you can see they finally started to grow at a "normal" pace. Sseing how I use Plagron pre fertilised Royal Mix I won't add any Nutrients for some time.
Tou might wonder where is N°1 well after 3 weeks it still a 2cm small sprout. Can't say I'm impressed with Cali Connection for now.
Week 4:
N°2,3 and 4 are growing well now. The slowest start I ever experienced but all is looking well now.
As for N°1? I had to replace it, I kept the plant but it never really grew. I'm keeping it as an experiment to see if anything will grow out of it. So sprouted a new seed that is a whole week late on their sisters.
Officially N°5 is now in it's final pot.
Week 5 report:
After a series of extremely slow weeks we finally have some nice growth happening plants 2,3 and 4 are now 5 weeks old and are clearly spreading out their large leaves.
N°1 aka 5 is one week late compared to the 3 sisters. What happened with the actual N°1? I kept it and wanted to observe it's growth to better understand what might have almost killed it.
Week 6:
All 4 are getting a workable size I'll probably switch to 12/12h
N°3 large leaves keep growing, I defoiled them quite a bit but the all grow large, more photosynthesis I'm all for it.
Last week of veg, all 4 plants are ready to switch. I only gave water the past 4 days to let the plant use what is left in the soil make space for the bloom nutrients.
I kept my genetic monster curious to see what happens once in bloom
First week of flowering and I can see them all growing tall gaining a few cm/per day. First set of pistils are visible on all 4 ladies.
I started adding Terra Bloom 2ml/L every other day.
4th week of flower:
I introduced Green Sensation into the feeding schedule 1ml/L every other watering cycle together with 1ml Sugar Royal and 3ml Terra Bloom.
I participated this week in Plagron's Art contest and had fun with the AI art, how do you feel about adding a AI image every week to the diary.
Flower week 5:
as you can see buds are starting to get plump and tight, I keep the same feeding schedule as the previous week and will stay the same until the end.
Yet another week is past and I slightly increased the Terra Bloom ratio to 3ml per Litre Water
I went and removed a lot of the lower leaves
Probably ready in 3 weeks
Two more weeks to go, I started flushing with tap water, about 0.75L per plant per day.
As you can see the trichomes are frosting the buds well, I'll send microscope pictures during the week
After 15 weeks it's time to harvest, the past week I only gave tapwater everyday about 0.75 per plant
The trichomes are glistening, about 40% turned amber, imo the ideal time to harvest,
I removed most of the leaves before hanging them to dry in my growtent turned into a dark drying chamber. The room temp is around 24°C, Humidity control now set to 60%. The tent has a constant passive airflow.
