Hello Diary,
I'm starting a new round on my little farm, the 18th since I started growing these beautiful plants.
There are again three different Autoflowering strains at the Farm:
Cherry Pie Auto, Purple Lemonade Auto and one of the legendary strains White Widow Auto.
This journal will be dedicated to the White Widow Automatic.
To begin with, I will write a few words about WHITE WIDOW Auto itself.
The White Widow Auto strain is a new cross of the classic Dutch strain White Widow, recognized by most smokers and growers as an absolute classic strain.
White Widow is more than just one of the most famous cannabis strains in the world;
it provides the genetic foundation for many other classic strains beloved by growers of every experience level.
Now, it is possible for beginner growers and impatient farmers to bring White Widow buds to harvest at lightning speed.
Welcome, White Widow Auto.
Like with the original photoperiod White Widow,
from these seeds grow plants with wide, dark green leaves and thick buds dusted with a heavy coating of resin by the end of the flowering phase.
White Widow Auto replicates many characteristics of the original WW, but takes only 75–85 days total crop time!
The buds, despite their hybrid genetics, display an indica appearance and effect.
White Widow Auto has a woody, pungent, earthy aroma and taste, similar to but not as strong as White Widow.
This strain was bred for a few years to ensure stability in the genetics.
Indoors, it will grow to an average height of around 50cm, with some larger plants reaching 100cm.
White Widow Auto seeds will produce robust plants that can yield around 190-240g, depending on conditions.

Let's officially start the diary.

Planting plants.
This time I decided on 11 lit. fabric pots, my dear friends at RQS sent me these nice pots and it's not like this is my first time using them.
They are great to handle and prevent me from over watering the plants.
For soil, I use BioBizz's Light Mix, mixed with Easy Boost organic nutrition in the form of pellets.
I put 50g of pellets on the 11 liter pot.
After that I put Seeaweed, 1g/lit and finally Mycorrhiza Mix which I put 5g/lit.
After that, I mixed the soil in the pot well and soaked it with water.
I put Seed Booster in the water, a new product from the rich range of organic nutrients from RQS.
I made a hole in the middle of a few centimeters and put a seed inside.
I did the same with the other two strains and after that I put them in the grow box.
20/07/2024
In the morning I sprinkled the surface of the soil with water, not too much, and by the end of the day all three plants had sprouted.
21/07/2024
I watered the plants, I gave each approximately 1 liter of water to which I added Seed Booster again.
Before that, I photographed the plants.
23/07/2024
Watering. I repeated the same procedure as two days earlier.

It's the end of the first week of vegetation on my little farm. I'm a little late in updating the diary, but I'll try to change that in the future.
Vegetation officially starts when the plants get at least 4 leaves, in the case of White Widow it's the same as with her roommates.
It's the same case for all three plants, 9 days from when I planted the seeds in the ground, or 5 days from when the plants sprouted.
As you can see from the photos, White Widow is making great progress from day one.
Although initially one leaf was trapped by the seed coat, which can be seen in the photos, one is more developed than the other.
You can see a drastic difference every day, I put photos on the 1st day of vegetation and the 7th day of vegetation and the difference is obvious in those seven days.

Conditions on the farm are not ideal.
The summer heat is still unbearable, affecting the temperature in the apartment.
When I add Migro Aray 4 to that, the temperature sometimes reaches 32 degrees.
I don't see for now that it has a bad effect on the plants, but I would like it if the temperature were lower.
The lights are now set at 35 cm from the plants and are dimmed at 40% of their power.
The regime is 18/6 from the first day of vegetation.
Watering is every three days.
I prepare about 4 liters of water, add 1 ml/L Calcium and Magnesium supplement and this week I started adding Bio Grow Fertilizer, a new product from RQS.
After all, I lower the pH to 6.0. and with that amount I water all three plants on the farm.

28/07/2024 - Day 4.
Watering.
I prepared 4 liters of water again, added Calcium and magnesium supplement, Bio Grow Fertilizer and finally lowered the pH. with Lemon Kick.
31/07/2024 - Day 7.
End of the first week of vegetation. Taking photos and after that I watered all three plants on the farm.

White Widow has completed her second week in the vegetation phase.
In a week, it grew 8 cm and began to form places where flowers will begin to appear.
Sometimes it's surprising how quickly plants develop and grow if they have good conditions.
All in all, these first two weeks are developing very nicely.
Since it's the middle of summer, the temperatures are still high, but for now I don't see that it doesn't suit them.
Sometimes it is over 31 degrees in the grow box.
I make sure that the soil does not dry out, so I increased the amount of water when watering.
I continue to add Bio Grow Fertiliser and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick.
At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 14, I increased the power of the led lights to 60%.

I prepared 6 liters of water, added the previously mentioned nutrients and with that amount I evenly watered all three plants on the farm.
07/08/2024 - Day 14.
After taking the photos, I watered all three plants on the farm in the same way as three days earlier.

White Widow has completed the third week of vegetation and is entering the flowering stage.
This week the White Widow grew 15 cm, got a bunch of new leaves and started to form flowers.
The leaves are a nice green color and generally White Widow looks healthy.
It is really developing very nicely, which makes me super happy.
The summer heat is still present which affects the temperature in the grow box,
this week the average was 29 degrees although sometimes the temperature rises to over 31 degrees.
But I don't notice that it is harming them, I make sure to water them regularly,
so that the soil does not remain too dry although that sometimes happens.
Every week, as the plants grow, I increase the amount of water when watering.
I continue to add Bio Grow Fertilizer and CalMg with each watering. pH I drop to 6.0 with Plagron's Lemon Kick.
At the end of the week, more precisely after taking photos for day 21, I increased the power of the led lights to 80%.

White Widow has finished the first week of flowering.
The flowers are forming nicely all over the plant and it has been 28 days since the beginning of the vegetation.
White Widow has grown 20 cm this week and is now 50 cm tall.
The main cola has started to rise above the other branches, it has started to form its final shape.
Soon it will start to stagnate with growth and will direct all its energy into the flowers.
The leaves are a healthy dark green color and show no signs that the plant is missing anything.
Summer temperatures are slowly falling, nothing significant but every degree of lower temperature makes me happy.
This week the average was 28 degrees and rarely exceeded.
The humidity in the grow box is around 50% which is ok.
Watering is a little more frequent, every three days, and sometimes every other day.
They require significantly more water than has been usual on my little farm so far.
I still add CalMg but from this week I started adding BIO-BLOOM Fertiliser.
I prepare 9 liters of water, add the nutrients listed and lower the pH to 6.0.
I water all three plants on the Farm with this amount.
A few days before the end of the week, I cleaned the lower part of the plant to allow it better air flow and to make it easier for me to water.
I also increased the intensity of the LED lights to 80% at the very beginning of the week.

15/08/2024 - Day 22.
Watering.
The soil was very dry and the leaves were slightly drooping. I watered each plant with 3 liters of water. I put 1ml/liter CalMg and 1.5 ml/liter Bio-Bloom Fertilizer in the water.
18/08/2024 - Day 25.
Watering.
The soil is very dry again and the leaves are slightly drooping. I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier.
21/08/2024 - Day 28.
Official end of the first week of flowering. After taking photos, I watered all three plants at the Farm.

White Widow has finished its second week of flowering.
The areas around the flowers themselves are lighter, due to the young leaves and the pistils themselves on the flowers,
so it is clearly visible where all the flowers are forming.
I am happy with how the flowers are developing and I therefore have much more motivation to take photos.
White Widow has started to stagnate in growth, this week she has grown 13 cm.,
the most compared to her roommates on the "Farm".
I would say that at this stage White Widow is taking on her final form and will now direct most of her energy into the development of the flowers.
The leaves are a healthy dark green color and so far I do not show any signs that the plant is lacking anything.
Watering was every three days, I continued to add CalMg and Bio-Bloom Fertilizer.
The conditions in the grow box are now much better.
The temperature is around 28 degrees and the humidity is below 50%.
White Widow is generally progressing great, which I am very happy about.

Watering.
I prepared 9 liters of water. I added CalMg 1 ml/liter, Bio-Bloom Fertiliser 1.5 ml/liter and then lowered the p.H. to 6.0.
With this amount I watered all three plants evenly.
27/08/2024 - Day 34.
Watering.
I repeated the same procedure as three days earlier.
28/08/2024 - Day 35.
End of the second week of flowering, or the fifth week from the beginning of the vegetation. Photographing and measuring the height of the plants.

White Widow has finished the third week of flowering, and as you can see in the photos, it looks great.
I would say that she has stopped growing in height, only 4 cm this week.
Final 67 cm which is almost ideal considering the height of my grow box.
White Widow has formed its final shape and will now direct all its energy into the development of flowers, at least I hope so :).
The main cola dominates above the other branches and is completely covered with flowers on which trichomes are already visible.
All three plants have started to smell more intensely, when I open the grow box I immediately feel the smell that overwhelms me.
The leaves are a healthy green color, there are no signs that she is missing anything.
It is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job.
Watering has become more frequent, the plants have become thirstier compared to the previous week.
I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering.
All in all, I am very pleased with how White Widow is progressing,
I try to provide her with the best possible conditions and she returns the favor in her own way.

White Widow has finished its fourth week of flowering, 7 weeks have passed since the beginning of the vegetation.
Now I can already say that we are slowly approaching the end, from next week I will be painting her on a black background.
What can I say, White Widow looks great.
The flowers are very hard to the touch although they are not that big if I compare them to her roommates on the "Farm".
Although smaller in volume, the flowers bend the branches slightly downwards with their weight.
The main cola rises above the branches, the flowers on it are hard as a rock and full of trichomes.
The smell is now very intense, when I open the grow box, the smell takes over the whole room.
The leaves are a healthy green color, it is obvious that the new nutrients Bio Grow and Bio Bloom Fertilizer are doing their job.
The conditions on the Farm are good, the temperature is around 28 degrees while the humidity is below 50%.
Watering is still almost every two days, they still require a lot of water.
I continued to add CalMg and Bio Bloom Fertilizer with each watering.
I am very happy to see how White Widow looks, all three plants on the Farm have far exceeded my expectations.
White Widow has responded nicely to my efforts to provide her with the best conditions I can.

White Widow has reached the end of the 5th week of flowering, a total of 8 weeks since the start of the vegetation.
As you can see from the photos, harvest is coming soon. I would say one more week and she will be ready.
What's interesting is that this White Widow phenotype is a bit of a purple one. The flowers are starting to take on purple tones.
The flowers are not as big compared to her roommates but they are rock hard and sticky under your fingers.
This week I started checking the appearance of the trichomes and most of them are still transparent.
All in all White Widow has pleasantly surprised me and brought a smile to my face when I look at her.
The smell is very intense at this stage, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box.
Watering is still every two or three days.
This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water.

White Widow has completed its last week, the journey has come to an end.
Two days after the photo shoot, I harvested White Widow along with her roommates.
73 days since I put the seeds in the ground.
65 days since the start of the vegetation.
Really very fast, although it has somehow become the standard on my small farm.
But I am still fascinated by how quickly the plant goes through its cycle when it has the most ideal conditions.
I don't necessarily mean myself, I try to give the plants the best I can and know how.
As you can see in the photos, the result is impressive, White Widow turned out to be a real beauty.
This phenotype painted White Widow in purple.
The flowers are hard and dense, the branches bend under their weight.
One branch even broke when I was setting it up for the photo shoot.
That purple color gives it a special look.
Some of the leaves have taken on autumn colors, which is also one of the signs that it has matured.
This week I continued to observe the samples under the microscope, waiting for the trichomes to turn milky.
On the day of the photo shoot, which was day 63, most of the trichomes were milky, some even brown.
The smell is very intense, the whole room smells like plants when I open the grow box.
I barely wash my fingers after examining the plants.
Watering was standard, every three days.
This week I stopped adding nutrients, I just lowered the p.H. to 6.0 and water the plants with clean water.
After the photo shoot, she was in the grow box for two more days to drink all the water from the soil so that the drying would be more efficient.
Before cutting, I removed all the leaves from the plant to also make drying easier and have less work to trim the dried flowers.
But also to prevent the formation of potential mold.
After cutting, I left her upside down in the grow box to dry.
Now I'm waiting for the flowers to dry well and to see how much White Widow has really rewarded me.

And we have come to the end of this diary.
It has been nice hanging out with White Widow these ten weeks and now it is time to enjoy her delicious fruits.
I will write a short review once again.
- 73 days from planting to harvest.
- 65 days from the beginning of vegetation to harvest.
- 3 weeks of vegetation.
- 6 weeks of flowering.
- yield - 86 g of dried flowers
The whole cycle was really nice to watch White Widow grow and how her appearance always brings a satisfied smile to my face.
After the harvest, White Widow dried in the grow box for 18 days.
After that, I trimmed the flowers a little and put them in jars to ripen a little more.
In the upcoming cold days, I will enjoy her woody-earthy flavor somewhere warm.

Smoke review
The flowers are full of trichomes which gives them an intense scent that fills the entire room when I open the jar.
I personally consume by smoking a joint, and the effect after smoking White Widow is very relaxing.
In my case, it is best when I smoke it in the evening when all my obligations are behind me.
With a good book or a movie, there is no better way to end the day.
