gonna germ 12/29/18 in hopes for a sprouting on 1/1/19 to make a nice start date..
.
gonna do the paper towel germ. 100 mL of stored mountain water and a drop or two of Zeus. I may try the purple orange CBD with Poseidonzime instead of Zeus, not sure yet. definitely need to ensure that these seeds all crack the Shell, and actually make it above soil. (*_I'M LOOKING AT YOU, HSO!!_*) (I bought three blue dream autos and they both had seed casings too thick to break and the seedlings roached out -- I've got one left and I doubt I'll get HSO, again (but, hey, that's just, like, my opinion, man). the photo period blue dream was a freebie, but it's Mr Mateo's favorite strain, and I would like it to prosper, as well.
.
for the seedlings soil, it'll be 1 part each: soil, Coco, perlite, ewc. the blues will be in bio bizz; the citrus in bumper crop; PO CBD in a 50:50 of these two.
.
well, after two days, none have popped, but I'm thinking I'll still put them in the soil and place humidity domes over them. that'll happen this afternoon (1/2/2019). I ended up soaking sections of paper towel, squeezing out excess, and placing a shit-streak of kelp juice down in a skunk stripe fashion. then the see, then in a baggie, sealed, and placed atop my 200w led panel.
.
for the seedlings pots, I have 4.2 inch square air pots. I'll have to be in the watering/misting front quite aggressively, methinks. but I do believe we are getting ahead of ourselves.
.
seedlings began to breach the surface yesterday; today all except the POCBD. but I do believe I can see Disturbed soil of her going out this morning. soooo -- today, January 7rd is our day one. I got humidity domes on them last night, and I reckon I'll water them lightly this afternoon. microbe water consisting of Great White mycos, and likely SLF-100. maybe some Mammoth P and Oh Sh¡t fish microbes. but no water-in nutes.
.
pictorially included for your viewing pleasure is my Mephisto Ripley's OG and a Dutch Passion Auto Daquari Lime, both the same age, one in a 2.5 gallon, the other in a 4.5/4.0 gallon -- both airpots. the Ripley's toppled over or some such ridiculousness and am I glad it did!! hopefully I scan some close ups before this uploads, again..
easy week. I've begin to up the volume/decrease the frequency of waterings. right now, we're watering 100 mL. did one watering this week with some powder Great White mycos, one with 'buffaloam' (@ 1-1-1). I guess it was supposed to make an instant tea, but the particles just float atop The water, so surface dressings of this stuff. moved the light up a touch and rearranged the girls prior to the final photos of the week. shortly, I believe I'll begin to add Pegasus Potion and Poseidonzime. maybe. maybe do a feed or two, then begin to add Herc, then Gaia, madusa and that should be well into day 30, so I'll stop projectulating (projections and postulating).
.
as always -- happy healthy and prosperous growing all! thanks for peeking!
things look good. I'm trying to not over/under water. I though that they were getting a little light burnt, so I reorganized them. that achieved nothing. so I moved em in to a corner. some improved, some declined -- shit. it's the air intake vent: it's just crushing the water it of the leaves resulting in possible early K issues, but we'll recharge them tomorrow maybe (I just watered today, but today is day 23, so stop looking ahead!!) otherwise, things look good.
.
I've noticed that in my auto grow going on, the addition of Pegasus Potion from stretch to mid-flower - it seems to have pushed it and really aided growth
it was definitely the intake vent. this is a problem I have solved previously. I'm kinda angry at myself. got some recharge in there, too, this week. after the two basic seedlings feeds last week, I thought they might appreciate a bit more food this week, so that's where we're headed. maybe looking to transplant, soon, but idk..
.
orange punch has wonkers on the leaves, but she was pretty tortured by the vent issue.
.
POCBD is also a bit tiny, but, still kicking.
.
the rest are fairly strong with blueberry OG taking the lead .
.
thanks for peeking! happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
I hope these pictures upload in the proper orientation.. it was an easy week, just some kelp and feathers. I think I tried to give em a bigger/varied feed, but backed off.
.
in correction to the previous post: the HSO blue dream is the wierd one, not the orange punch. I need to figure out the leaves...
.
sorry for the lack of anything, but early very, ain't nothing happening, anyway!!
.
thanks for peaking and happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
ok. I cannot get the photos to upload in the proper orientation. it is independent of... anything, it seems..
.
ok. so, decent week. I transplanted yesterday and will take a pic of what I did (analogues notes). I took 6*12" concrete testing moulds and cut them to approximately .66-.75 gallons (actual) in size. it was not measured, just eyeballed. holes were drilled to simulate an airpot. I will wrap them in aluminum foil to abate the light from bugging the roots. the autos got chopped and I hope that my stockpile can get me through April
ignore that feeding above. follow the analogue notes. got the transplant done - should've gone STB. -- I mean: straight-to-flowering-pot (little deemster humor)
cooli-O!! we're looking decent. I came to the conclusion that I should've skipped the intermediary transplant and gone straight for it. either way, some of the plants have sexed, others are still waited upon. POCBD is the shortest, but among the healthiest; contrarily - blue dream is continuing to be a thorn. the leaves are all wonky (I call em 'wangers' cuz the fingers of the fans go...uh.. it's there.)
.
so the blue dream went into the soil that was intended for an auto blue dream, also a freebir [sic]. soil mix is on the light side, expeshully now that it's a legit photo-dependant. maybe I'll throw some Athena's aminos at it in the next day or two. 5 gallon airpot knockoff, with 6"dia*4"h soil riser (
k.. so we had a touch of stagnation after the transplant. not much, but enough..I still have work to do to achieve the proper effects, while abating all ill effects, of my stupid riser tek project.
.
that disgusting blue dream is gonna be more of an indigo nightmare. she got super cropped on day 61 and topped on day 62? haha, she'll fight, and I'll fight and hopefully she ends up resining up like a pine tree in Watertown, NY's winter! it snows there, right?? haha...
.
lemon also got the super crop, but I left it at that. she was looking a bit sad, so she got in the feed with everyone else.
.
blueberry is looking great, pushing side branching to a appreciable achievement. looking very healthy. satisfied with progress
.
orange punch is doing very well, keeping pace with blueberry. healthy branching, satisfied with progress
.
purple orange is the size runt, being closer to 9/10"; otherwise, she's possibly the physically healthiest girl in The Grove. leaves are constantly praying, beautiful light green fan leaves, proportional branching - extremely satisfied with progress.
.
other notes - I've begun ticking off time on the lights. I'm going to do a gradual slide into 12:12 and through the final two or three weeks, may even bring it down to 11 hours of light.. I dunno; I am interested in not shocking them (even though they got topped...
Basic week. Again, ignore the feedings as graphed.. Super soil is still handling things, infact, my home-made soil is a bit hot, so, I'm happy with that, I guess. That's the lemon og. Otherwise, thinks are looking great! I culled the blue dream, this week or next, but she gone! Keeps the hours ticking down!! Looking good
Thanks for peeking; happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
Again, ignore the feeding - still on plain H too 0. Water, that is. The critical is a stout little bush! Lots of branching! The other three are more Xmas tree type. Still a little heavy on the lemon, but I think she's straightening out. Again, thinking about feeding, but not yet, maybe this week?? I've gotta get them something! (Right??) 🤔🤔
.
Gave em all a defoliation of the major fan leaves on the main stalk. Built my auto supersoil for my next grow, so it'll have two calendar months and a week to cook. I may set up the journal - it'll be my largest yet and very helpfully sponsored, in part, by fastbuds!! Thank you, HEAPS!! - depends upon my boredom. 🤫😃😎
.
Anyways - thanks for peeking! Happy healthy and prosperous growing!! STAY TUNED FOR FURTHER EXCITEMENT!!
Hokai -- so. Long work week (91 billed hours; 80 actually worked) soooo not much to update. Make the flip to 12/12 following a 24 hour dark period and April first marks flowering day 1. Still just water feeds, but that will now change. Last night (flowering day 1, first thing in the morning) babies were all wilting!! Didn't have time to feed so they got their final water, except for lemon OG Kush, she's in water-only supersoil. Ok. Gotta do stuff!
.
Thanks for peeking! Happy healthy and prosperous growing, y'all!
.
Listen to 'kiwano sour' on the Spotify!!
Decent week, got flipped to 12:12 on April first. The solution mixed up (accurate measurements, above) got pH'ed @ 6.19 ; micro salts (?) @ 1522 ; PPM concentration @ 1080 ; EC @. 0.76
.
Still really busy with my societally acceptable occupation.. Visitors and whatnot..
.
I found 'coast of Maine : organic squid concentrate' & I dunno if I'm a nerd, but I really can't wait to get me grimy mitts upon some!!
.
Been working up some plans and schedules, also devoting more time, recently, into exploring mineral soils for my 'ariocarpus lophophora' cactus seeds that I *know* are hopefully something else 🤫😎.
.
Fairly standard week, nobody's upset, could probably use more calculated scheduling and standardization of feedings/waterings..
.
All's well in The Grove! Thanks for popping by! As always, happy, healthy and prosperous growing!!
Decent week. It'd be wonderful if I could upload without crashing. App no longer works/updates/opens
.
In-laws are in town so feeding/watering is difficult. Just chugging along. I will be increasing food levels and feed frequency, from here-on. The supersoil I've created appears to be a little hot with the nitrogen, still, so less blood meal next time? Otherwise, it's a very strong plant and is impressing me, though I'll admit I used a recipe, hahaa. Glad it's working as well as it is!
.
Thanks for peeking - happy healthy and prosperous growing to you!!
Had houseguests for the week - did the best I could. Lots of evening/night feedings for the ladies.
.
Overall, looks decent. Flower starting nicely. Went too heavy with the N in the lemon OG Kush supersoil. Also - somewhere in there is the beginning of Cal/Mag deficiency??
.
Thanks for peeking, happy healthy and prosperous growing!!
Hokkaido, so... Got REAL ill this week. Suffice to say, I did not spend much time in the Grove. Everything kinda kept going, somewhat decently. And I'm also realizing, I'm REAL bad at keeping these ladies watered..
.
.
Thanks for peeking; happy, healthy and prosperous growing!
Aight! Things are looking better this week. Got to a little bit better at the waterings and such.. Did a preventative Nectar flush with microbe bump (hygeia's, Aphrodite's, Persephone's, Herculean, Triton's and Morpheus ; recharge, Mammoth P, SLF, great white & 'oh shit' fish farts) ppm = 660 @ pH = 6.48
.
.
Thanks for peeking; happy, healthy and prosperous growing!
Cool.. So I accidently left my log book at home today, but I can see that I was more diligent about feedings. I believe we're around 80 ml of Herculean..3 T of Triton's. 1 T bloom khaos. Lemon og is appearing to finish rapidly. All is looking good, starting to swell!!
.
Thanks for peeking; happy, healthy and prosperous growing!
Swell is definitely occurring. Lemon OG Kush is also finishing hard - she's the water-only plant. She was leaning, so I stuck an arrow in the planter and tied it up. Following this, I reorganized the Grove, so my light panels are more efficient. In doing so, the blueberry has responded amazingly; that may also explain the 'stoppage' on lemon OG Kush..
.
Doing GREAT! Getting books and expanding the knowledge.
.
As always: Thanks for peeking; happy, healthy and prosperous growing!
The grow was great. I had to stake her up to keep from toppling. Great plant. Sorry for the pack of finishing information.
.
Took her when the tricomes were mainly cloudy, a few ambers interspersed. Tastes crazy. Smell is like no other herb I've smelled
