Hello. This is the end of week 7 and the beginning of week 8 of veg.
I took another look at the males and found them to be average. Not that smelly or resinous. So, no good for breeding.
That's ok though. Let see what these females can do.
They are topped already and ready to be repotted and put in the tent.
There's still 1 plant undecided. Has small male looking flowers. I'll leave it for a few more days before deciding.
Man, there are lots of large female orb weaving spiders around here this year.
Huge webs, when you walk into them in the dark, they don't break off like the little webs.
What a difference in design though. These spiders are all in my yard.
I find them fascinating to look at.
Hope your enjoying the comics.
Keep Growing Straight.

@Chuckwaggon420, There are web sites for used stuff in your city. Mine is called usedvictoria.ca
The person I got it off had been sponsored and had 2 grows with it. I got a good price on a almost new light.
When I got it, it hadn't been released to the public yet. I can dim it down to 20% for seedlings.

@Chuckwaggon420, Hi Buddy.
I start with filtered water. If the filter can take out things like lead and mercury then it will take out some fungus spores.
I think the biggest problem for the seeds is the Pythium Root Rot fungus. The spores are everywhere and chlorine doesn't kill them, so filter them out.
I add the HP for extra oxygen to help and it cleans the water too. It also helps to break down the membrane so the seeds will slip right out of their shells.
I add a pinch of cinnamon because it's anti-fungal to start with and it has the same properties as cloning gel.
If the seeds are older I will add some cloning gel to the water for a little extra umph for the seeds.
I've had pretty good sucuess with older seeds with this method.
Best wishes.
Chuck.
