11/01/24 Here we go back into the life of a sickly midget. Weeks? HA we laugh in the face of age! She says it’s just a number.. okay…
So uh.. I’ve just decided this one is never going to be very big. We’re just gonna accept that and move on. She grew an inch and a half the past week.
Just tried feeding again like 10 minutes ago. Fed her full strength mild vegetation amount which is just 1-1-1 ml each part per gallon. We shall see what happens.
I just wanna see a good, or no negative reaction to a feed, and for her to regain a bit of darker green. You can’t tell much from pictures, but with no camera, naked eye irl, she’s so light green she’s borderline yellowing.
I think I’ll wait for that to happen, then I’ll transplant her into a bigger pot because I see root showing at bottom holes now. Then I’ll give her a bit to recover because she’s a diva, then I’ll flip her.
This is the plan, but if plans went like I wanted, she’d have always been healthy, happy, and already be a couple weeks into flower by now. So, we shall wait and see
To be continued…
Hey how's it going ✌️ i've just read through your diary a little, from what I can tell Growmie, it looks like PH imbalance in the soil from week 1- week 2.
Is it a pre loaded soil mix? Maybe it's too rich for seedlings? My advice, only through my own shitty experiences....
Wait till soil dries to about 2 inches below surface, run 1.5L over her slowly of just pH 6 water, and wait for run off if there is any, if there isn't apply another 0.5L and wait. Measure the PH and PPM levels of the run off water. This may help identify what the soil is doing 🙏 hope it helps 💚
@Krisis, No problem at all, I've been in this situation before where every attempt I make to fix just don't work 🤣 I'm glad you kept her going, be good to see if these genetics are just not ready for hot mediums.
Hopefully assessing the root zone will help 🙌 all the best with this grow, I hope she shakes it off and starts to justify the time you have spent on her 🙏✌️ 💚
@pifflestikkz, Heyy thanks for actually taking the time to look through and give advice. What you recommended, I’ve actually done, and couldn’t find any problems. This plant has made me crazy lol. I’ve been told it’s a problematic one that I should have tossed. That’s probably true, BUT I just wanna see if it can be turned around. As for the soil, this one was started in just happy frog and perlite. It’s typically not too hot, but this plant seems very sensitive so maybe it was too hot in this situation. Could possibly be some root issues. When soils a bit dryer I’m going to pull and see if I can see any problems under there. Thanks again for the help :)
