Strawberry Gorilla Automatic (Lifetime Grow #4)

17AUG2024 19:00 - 4 Fast Buds Strawberry Gorilla Auto beans into a glass of RO water 18AUG2024 12:30 - Still Floating 19AUG2024 09:30 - All 4 beans have sunk, one is showing the root primordia. 09:45 - All 4 beans transferred to damp, folded paper towel and enclosed in a ziploc, hand warmed. 18:30 - All 4 beans were showing root primordia (huzzah, full germ!) and were thus planted into seedling soil in my sexy new germination chamber, and named. ***19:00 - Partook of some of the Class of Grow 3 (an entirely un-diaried grow, but back at this one, full force!) to see how she's coming through drying (RQS Green Gelato... lovely, lovely effect, vaped @205C, thus far. Good on ya, folks @RQS!), and sitting down to start this diary. Musing a bit on how much improved my grow setup is for this grow-round. Very excited for the newly added, and yesterday-ly installed, ACI Ionframe EVO6. Beautiful bit of hardware, that is (ala Billy Butcher). Though now that I'm using 7 ports of their 8-port controller, I'm going to probably lose the battle I've been having with myself over not getting one of their tents too. But for now, we grow on in the (already an upgrade over my first tent, space-wise) Mars 3x3 that hasn't even seen one full grow yet 😂 Hoping GG is dry in the next week or 2, as she's still hanging out on a smart dry in there. But the germination chamber has head room for the next few weeks-ish, and if she goes into grove bags at 13-14% stem moisture, I'm sure it'll still be vastly better than my last dry/cures. I'm going to be tracking the crap out of this grow, as I'm planning to do two of the girls in FF Happy Frog w/ rinsed Perlite and two in Tilth's Bloom w/ rinsed Perlite, then track everything I can think to track, as I try to prepare myself to dip my toes into breeding. For now, a nice quick grow with the Fastest of Buds to hone my LST and bud production technique, and get used to keeping lots and lots of data. And see how my soil g/m^2 goes with... well... an actual m^2 now, hooray!)*** 23AUG2024- All 4 ladies (dubbed Astyn, Brigid, Charlize and Delphine) popped reliably and readily out of the soil in their plug tray on 21Aug. They seem to be getting leggy very quickly under the lights in the seedling chamber, so they were moved onto the floor of the tent under the main light. All have their first true leaves and are starting in in the second set.
