Wrapped the seed in a wet paper towel for 2 days until the root was 1cm and afterwards I've put it in the soil.
Planning to do a lot of LST and HST with it.
Not much to say here, Simply gave her some water whenever the soil looked dry and thats it. No additional nutrients.
Light is pretty close but only at 25%. Since I only have this one plant in the tent it's fine and I'm saving electricity
Still not much to say. Today the main root started to come out of the bottom of the pot. I will give the roots 2-3 days more time to get a bit bigger before I repot the plant.
After repotting I will start to feed her with nutrients
I repotted it on day 15 but unfortunately I damaged the roots a bit. It still seems to be recovering from this because its growth has slowed down considerably.
I have now turned the light up to 50% and started fertilizing. I'm using the Guanokalong fertilizer formula and Piranha from Advanced Nutrients. I will give Piranha for the first two weeks after each repotting and otherwise stick completely to the Guanokalong scheme.
Also started with some LST. Will perform HST as soon as the plant is 2-3cm bigger.
I wanted to wait a few more days before topping her, but due to a business trip I decided to go ahead. I also performed some more LST to give her more light.
On day 28 after my trip I had to remove the cane again as shoots were growing right underneath it. She also starts to grow again, 1 more week and I will change her pot again
I repotted her to her final pot this week (16 liter pot). I first wanted to go for a 12 liter pot and change to a 16 liter pot after some more weeks but I don't want to wait forever to harvest her, so I changed my mind.
I topped her once more today and will do it at least one more time, maybe even twice. We'll see in the next few weeks. But I plan to start the flowering stage by mid-October at the latest.
Will continue to give her Piranha until next week.
She's growing faster and faster. I am unsure whether I should top her again or not. I will decide this in the course of the week. (Yes, the first photo was made on Day 40 and the other 3 on Day 42.. believe it or not)
I had some problems with my printed hooks as they no longer want to hold in the soil. Paper clips and hemp string work surprisinlgy well though!
One thing I have learned: Next time I'll put way more soil in the pot.... the soil collapsed a lot and I wasted so much space for the roots :/ well, next time I'll know better....
1-2 more weeks and I'll switch lights.
Also from now on I'll not use Piranha anymore. Roots should be more than healthy by now and I'll simply stick to the Guanokalong scheme
Was on a busines trip last week and couldn't make photos until now. A friend watered her while I was away.
She grew a lot and I decided that she had enough HST. I performed one last time LST in order to get her pretty even in height.
Will give her another week to grow a little and then change the lamp time.
I decided that she grew enough so on day 56 I switched the light to 12/12 . I did not change the fertilizer this week cause I simply forgot it. Will do it next week
No pictures for week 9 & 10 cause there's not much to show^^ She stayed surprisingly small but is flowering now and I'm exited to see the final result.
Sticking to the Guano fertilizer scheme.
She has lost a lot of leaves in the last few days. At first I thought it was some kind of problem, but since only the lower leaves are affected, I now assume that she's simply already in autumn and is losing more leaves than normal.
Surprisingly, she hardly smells at all. The last time I grew this strain, she had a very strong odour. I'm looking forward to the end result!
I've put a few filters over the photos, do you think it's better this way?
